Do not recommend eating here. They removed all gluten free proteins in the past few months. This according to an employee with a celiac child. Employee tried really hard to make something since there was a group of us by cooking separately plain chicken without the seasoning but I had to stop eating the salad.
AMAZING! I was nervous about coming here because online reviews were contradicting. Brandon, the manager, was so helpful. He talked to me on the phone and went over some options for me. He was very knowledgeable about every item on the menu and cross contamination. He even came to my table when I arrived and talked things over with me. He even put in my order himself. He was very kind and made sure that I had a good experience without having to worry. He checked up on me and made sure my meal was made with corn tortillas! He was great and Chuys is a great option for Celiac
I was nervous to eat here because I’d seen the reviews that they aren’t gluten friendly, but I was invited to go for a friend’s bday dinner and decided to try it. I called ahead of time and they were able to give me a list of things that were safe: the rice, beans, and any enchilada dish that doesn’t have marinated meat.
When I arrived, I let our waiter know about my allergy and my concerns, and he was extremely helpful and willing to double check with the chefs. I ordered chicken enchiladas and had no reaction. Overall I was pleasantly surprised by the positive experience.
