They do not have a GF menu. The server went through the menu item by item and was very helpful. I did NOT get sick. They do not have a dedicated fryer so therefore there is cross contamination risk of the chips and some rice dishes.
I was told the meal I was eating was gluten free by my waiter. He later explained it was not actually gluten free. I had already eaten enough to cause a month of pain. Do not eat here.

We read some old posts that Chuy’s was not gluten friendly but we found out different. The kitchen manager was great! He was able to show us the precise menu options that he could assure would be served gluten free for our celiac daughter. She LOVED the chicka chicka boom boom enchiladas!

Chuy’s does NOT have a gf menu. From information online, they marinate their meat in beer, so no meat is GF. They also cook everything in the same fryer if you are really sensitive. Pretty disappointing for Mexican food since most of the time it is GF.

The kitchen manager Miguel is always amazing. Their enchiladas and chips are gf. Unfortunately their rice has a cross contamination risk and all fajita meat is marinated in beer. However, they can make a plain chicken breast for fajitas if requested.
