Do not eat here. Nothing is gluten free. The grill has items with flour on it and so they can’t even suggest grilled chicken. Every single item is unsafe.

While they don’t have a GF menu or dedicated fryer, the general manager and her kitchen manager are both very knowledgeable about gluten free and cross contamination . I also react to corn and they worked with me to serve me a delicious meal. My fam was so excited to have Tex Mex!

Asked for a gluten free menu. The manager came over and told me all the things I could not have. Basically boiled down to roasted chicken with a few choices of sauce and beans. Pretty much everything is cross contaminated. Even the rice.

All their meat is marinated in beer so no meat is gluten free and it took years to figure this out after telling them I was gluten free and asking for options. Beware!

Planned on going here for a quick dinner based on prior reviews. Told the server I had celiac disease and the manager came over and said there was nothing safe, that “everything is fried”and there is no dedicated fryer, so we ended up leaving.

If you tell them you have an allergy, they will send a manager out and explain in detail what is safe. The manager will also bring out your food. They are amazing and so friendly about everything.
I usually get the southwest enchilada with boom boom and plain roasted chicken (the other chicken is marinated with gluten) and I’ve never been sick!!

Always easy to get GF at Tex-Mex restaurants. Easy to sub corn tortillas, and the creamy jalapeño is GF too

Okay let me start by saying I’ve been to chuy’s before at other locations but after this I will not be returning. When I asked for a gluten free options they gave me a menu which was great. It was quite limited (no meat, no rice, no sauce) but I went with it.
When my plate came the enchiladas I ordered had both rice and sauce on them which the gf menu said were NOT gf. I asked the waitress to double check and she reassured me it was okay.
I ended up sick and with gluten rash shortly after eating. I then talked to another friend who is Celiac and said she had issues at a separate location as well.
Upside- my friends who are not celiac said their food was great.
