Firebirds Wood Fired Grill

Celiac I was very impressed by how serious Firebirds was about food intolerances and allergies. When I asked the waitress about gluten free and dairy free option, she went to get the manager, who was very knowledgeable. The manager, in turn, went to talk to the chef twice to verify that both ingredients and cross-contamination opportunities were address. I felt safe eating here. I had the salmon salad with salt and pepper for seasoning, without the pecans (which had gluten). It was very good. The service was also good, despite the crowded restaurant.

Have eaten here several times and I am always impressed by the wait staff, kitchen & managers. They always check with me about certain items or if a preparation is ok. One time I was there, I ordered grilled shrimp & the kitchen wanted to know if I wanted it pan fried because they were concerned about cross-contamination from the grill. Yesterday, I ordered grilled chicken breast. The waitress came & asked if tenders were OK & I said fine. Then the manager came & explained that the chicken is marinated in buttermilk which would have been an issue for my dairy allergy, and that is why they switched it to the tenders that are not marinated. Always GREAT food and AMAZING service!!!

I eat here about once a month and never have issues. My favorites are the shrimp and strawberry salad, woodfire grilled salmon with veggies & loaded baked potato, ribs platter and the deviled eggs appetizer

They have a dedicated gluten sensitive menu. Fish, chicken, salads, dressings, cocktails and more. Was impressed by their gluten sensitive menu.

Had the Shrimp and Strawberry Salad and my Daughter had the Pineapple Chicken. We were both pleased. We are both GF. No issues for us.
