They have a separate oven just for gluten free and GF pizzas are made in the back salad bar area with clean ingredients. The pizza was delicious and safe! In addition the waiter was very knowledgeable and friendly. They do have a GF brownie Sundae, but we did not try it.

Was exhausted from working 60 hours and then flew from FL to RI. Was able to order GF pizza and have it delivered. I absolutely love this place. I got the pepperoni and mushroom pizza with extra toppings. I also got the chicken bacon ranch pizza with extra toppings, this one was surprisingly my favorite one. I'm not usually a fan of ranch anything. Also, the delivery was flawless, they messaged me as they were pulling up and all I had to do was open the door, the guy handed it to me and left. Payment was taken care of online. I had the option to put "gluten allergy" on everything I ordered and felt really safe. I also didn't get sick and still have pizza leftover. 😍 LOVE this place. They also have GF beer and dessert options.

Great pizza and great atmosphere. When ordering online you have plenty of options and selections to note gluten free and other allergies. Did not have to worry.

What a find! Traveling through Providence and my son found this restaurant in the app. It was excellent!! They are great with gluten allergies/celiac, they have a separate oven and prep area and also good with vegan options too. We got two pizzas and a gf brownie sundae and ate every last bite!! It’s in a great area near the local colleges with a small parking lot. We will definitely be back when driving through RI.

I ordered takeout from here and had no problems. I called ahead and confirmed that the gluten free toppings are kept separate (they said the use stuff from the salad station, and there are no croutons on the station). Pizza is cooked separately on a separate pan. It’s a bit expensive and they aren’t super generous with the toppings, which is a bit of a bummer, but overall, I had a very positive experience.

Service here was great! Flatbread came out quick and salad was tasty. Lots of beer choices and they had super safe GLUTEN FREE pizzas and salads. It made my wife, who has celiac disease, feel really safe. The crust was prepared and cooked on an aluminum pan to avoid cross contamination and the toppings were so varied that it did not get boring. It would have been nice if they were more generous with said toppings though. Great food and great atmosphere and the wood fired oven made everything unique.

The GF crust is TO DIE FOR! I have severe celiac and orders a gluten free crust with red sauce- sausage, bacon , pepperoni, garlic oil, and Vegan cheese (VIOLIFE). With the strawberry alarm clock cocktail that was tart. There is a specific gluten free stone oven and staff is very cautious of food allergy’s. GF flatbreads take a bit longer to cook. Unfortunately the new staff burnt the flatbreads and made us new ones that took a while, service recover was amazing they comped both of the GF flatbreads . All flatbreads can be made GF.

We ordered all gluten free pizzas from here saying we had someone with celiac disease in our party. Unfortunately my young celiac daughter got extremely sick after eating from here.

Gluten free pizzas cooked on a tin and served in the tin so you know they were not touching the oven
Not my favorite GF pizza (crust is pretty soft) but reliable, convenient, and satisfies the pizza craving
No nuts in the whole restaurant!

I'm very sensitive and did not get sick. The sausage tasted great! The brownie was average for gluten free.

Dedicated line for ciders on tap! Never had any cross-contamimatoon issues with flat breads, either. Come 2nd and 4th Mondays 7-10 for Rhode Island Pub Sing!

Amazing pizza, the best I have ever had. They took serious precautions. My waiter was awesome.
Yes
Celiac and wheat intolerant. The pizza was really good. They make it in a "gluten free only" area of the restaurant and even have a stone oven only for gluten free food. Will be back if ever in Providence again.
Yes
I have been diagnosed for 3 years and this is the best pizza crust i have had. The outer crust had a bit of fluff to it and that is the first time i had fluff on the outer edge. Service was great. Totally recommend. Bit more pricey but so worth it.
Yes
The food was great!! I was able to watch them make the pizza from where I was sitting. When they made the dough, they washed their hands and changed their gloves. When they were about to cook it, they put it in foil as to not contaminate it. The staff was also very knowledgeable and knew what to do right away. If you are near Flatbread Company, I highly suggest you eat there.
Yes
Pizza here is amazing and I've never had any issues! I definitely recommend the white pizza.
I’ve been to many flatbread companies in New England and have never had a problem! Upcharge for the gf crust, but it comes on it’s own foil pan and the toppings are great

I used to go to Flatbread when I was taking a summer course at Umass Lowell and was blown away by the quality of their crust - make sure you pay extra for the house made crust! It’s totally worth it. Needless to say, I’m very glad there’s one here in Providence! You can’t beat the atmosphere and the pizza. The drinks are good too!
No problem for this celiac. Precautions taken using designated prep area for my pizza, special one-use tray to go in oven. Knowledgeable staff. Will definitely be back!
Yes
Told them I was celiac and got a vegan pizza. They remade it but I was sick shortly after and for the next several days. I was told that they also cook gluten products in the same gluten free oven. So skip the place.
No
The staff was incredibly knowledgeable about celiac and cross-contamination. Ate a delicious, safe meal while visiting the area - so very grateful for awesome places like this!

We love going to Flatbread as they are able to accommodate our gluten and soy free needs. They are very careful about cross contamination.
They prepare gf pizza in a separate area on a separate tin pan if you tell them you are Celiac or have a wheat allergy. The people who work here are friendly and knowledgeable and the pizza is really good!

It can be hard to get a GF pizza just like non GF but these guys nail it every time... I love going here. Great pizza and the lemonade is delicious
Yes
This place was awesome! All of their flatbreads can be made gf, on a separate pan in a separate oven. Wait staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely will be going back!
Yes
Phenomenal gluten free flatbread; just like the real thing. Staff is very understanding and most, if not all, flatbread topics are/can be prepared gluten free. Crust is doughy - a great contrast to the crunchy burnt crust we can usually find gluten free!
Yes
The salad was good, I feared the pizza due to past experiences with cross contamination. They messed the order up twice though and it came out with gluten containing products on it. I'd go back and try it again though. In their defense it was a very busy night for a fundraiser.
The gluten free drink they brought me tasted like sewer water though, and they don't have bottled water available, so I went without a beverage.
Best gluten free pizza in Providence! The crust is crusty! All toppings are gluten free, salads are fresh and crispy and the brownie sundae is also gluten free. You pay for the quality but you can see the menu prices online, so no surprises there.
With so many restaurants now offering gluten-free pizza you might think about giving this one a pass but that would be a mistake! Their homemade gluten free pizza crust is phenomenal. Not the thin frozen gluten-free crust we have all learned to be grateful for, this is the real thing! They also offer gluten-free beer and desserts so you will not feel deprived in any way.
The menu is limited in general, but the food is always fresh, healthy and delicious, and any pizza can be made with a GF crust. Be certain to mention if you have Celiac, and they bake and serve it in a separate pan, to prevent any cross contamination. The staff is very knowledgeable about GF issues. Our family loves it here!

I've been a loyal flat bread fan for almost a decade and just discovered this new location while in town for business. service was great...manager came to see how my meal was and they even served the gluten free pizza on a special tray to denote the allergen. five star amazing organic restaurant.
I LOVE this place! I started going whenever I was in Portland, Maine, and I was thrilled that a location opened in RI. Not only do they offer GF pizzas, but the ingredients are fresh and everything I've had has been delicious. One of my favorite spots!
Awesome atmosphere

Awesome GF pizza! The GF brownie sundae was amazing
Great pizza!!!
Their gluten free pizza crust is the best I've had anywhere. They were very careful during food preparation and prepared the GF pizza in a separate area from where their regular pizzas are made. They also use a separate pizza cutter for GF pizzas. For dessert, they offer a warm, GF brownie sundae. They use natural, local ingredients. I had no worries about cross contamination.

super great flatbread dough with a wide variety of toppings. so amazing and they cook it on a different platter and above the gluten pizzas. dessert was great too!

I will admit that I was terrified I was going to be sick here after watching them prep all of the non-GF pizzas and seeing how much flour is flying around. My pizza was prepped in the back and came out separately, and I did not end up sick! The crust was delicious and the pizza was actually a full sized pizza. Waiter was able to answer questions about whether certain sauces and toppings were gluten free

I get really nervous about pizza because there’s so much room for cross contact but server explained that they prep the pizzas in a separate area and they are cooked above the gluten free pizzas on individual pans and they use dedicated tools. I did not have any reaction and pizza was really good (and nice to have a full size pie even if a small upcharge from the regular dough). Had a salad here too that was very fresh. Would recommend.
