So many gluten free options and great for kids!! My daughter (celiac) never gets sick when we eat here and my sons who are not gluten free say the gf mac and cheese is the best here! I personally love the forbidden rice bowl. They change their gloves for my daughter even though everything we order is gf!

If you park in the garage directly adjacent (just before the restaurant if you are coming from Rt. 7), you can get your parking ticket validated.
Great for a quick, healthy lunch that is celiac safe. The menu is clearly marked and most items are GF or can be adapted. Staff is knowledgeable and they take precautions in the kitchen. Haven’t had anything here I didn’t like. They even have GF, individually wrapped cookies!

I love Flower Child. Their menu is clearly marked and everyone is aware of celiac. I have sampled most of the menu and have never found a meal didn’t like. Lots of flavor! Have been many times and will return often. My celiac children and “normal” wife like it too.

I eat here regularly. I’ve almost always ordered online, I’ll leave a celiac note and my order usually has a note about celiac or made with care and maybe even a smiley face. Staff are always so pleasant when I’ve picked up. I like that things are marked clearly. A couple things have gluten, like the broccoli (bummer), but I’ve never gotten sick. They are always adding things as seasons change, there’s often something new on the menu. The gluten free macaroni and cheese with the salmon and the asparagus is my go to. I also love the gluten free olive oil cake and the cookies!! So good. We order from here for my office and everyone loves the GF olive oil cake (I have to be careful or I won’t end up with any!)

Had the gluten free mac and cheese and it was amazing! Told them it was a gluten allergy and she marked it on their system. Would recommend.

Lots of terrific options, including a couple of baked goods! I noted my allergy and cashier was quick to say she would enter it so the kitchen would know. I will definitely be back.

5 people ordered 5 different dishes. Of the 5 dishes, 4 of them were gluten free. Everyone loved their meal! We all felt that the portions were very generous!

I love this place! The staff is super knowledgeable and will answer any questions you have. They do great with allergies and most items on the menu are gluten free. I’ve ordered several things from here including Mac & cheese and enchiladas, and everything is always fresh and delicious! They also have some of the BEST chocolate chip cookies that I’ve ever eaten before (even before I was diagnosed with celiac). You definitely don’t want to miss this place.

I love Flower Child! I used to live right next to one on Lovers and it was really great. Most of their menu is gluten free too. This location is kind of iffy. The food was very subpar at this location and the staff were really negative. It was cold and overcooked. My food was all gluten free and I had no reaction, so I’m thankful for that. I got the chicken, broccoli (with no bread crumbs), and the gluten free Mac and cheese. I get this same order every time I go to Flower Child, so I know it was just a location thing. I strongly recommend this place if you’re gluten free because it’s safe and delicious, but I will definitely be using the extra gas to go to another location.

DO NOT EAT HERE! I know there may be positive reviews, but trust me, it’s not worth the risk. There’s other places in Wildwood that you can get food from. I ordered the “gluten free” Mac n cheese from Flower Child and within 2 hours was nonstop vomiting so severely that I was hospitalized for a night. This was one of the worst reactions of my whole life, and I have no idea how it happened since their Mac n cheese is allegedly supposed to be gluten free, with no non-gf version available. If you have Celiac, DO NOT EAT AT FLOWER CHILD, don’t ruin your day/week by getting glutened here!

I ate lunch here this past weekend and had a wonderful experience! I’m highly symptomatic and was just fine after eating here. There is potential for cross contamination, but all the staff seemed very well informed and knew exactly what to do. I feel that this is one of the safest restaurants for me in Houston.
