The food was amazing however if you are going do not sit at a high top table. The first time we went our waitress was amazing and knowledgeable. The second and third time we went we were asked if we were ok with a high top and we said yes. When you sit a high top, the bartenders are your servers. Both times the bartenders were rude and did not care about my allergy. The first time I expressed it and asked for mashed potatoes as a side, my food was brought out to me with French fries were are marked as not gluten free multiple times on the menu. The food runner was super sweet about it and corrected the mistake, noting that the server should’ve marked that I had an allergy. I brushed it off as just one negative experience and went again a few weeks later. Again we sat at a high top. The bartender this time was just annoyed at everything we did. My friend is celiac and when she asked what sides she could get instead of French fries he just slapped her menu back down in front of her and pointed at it not speaking…the sides aren’t even listed on the menu. He asked her if she was fine with French fries and she said no because they aren’t gluten free and what else could she have and he listed two sides sounding just very annoyed at us. Thankfully neither of us got sick and we loved the food, however the experience sitting at the high tops was so negative and frustrating.

I considered going here based on these reviews and I looked at the menu online. They have a “gluten friendly” menu, not a “gluten free” one.
Friendly service, beginning to end. Separate menu, lots of options. Also accomodates dairy free. The stew was fabulous!

A great restaurant with outstanding service. Always have cider available, sometimes on draft. A local favorite for burgers, pub food, salads and fish. The staff are well trained about food allergies. Ask for the GF menu. Avoid fried dishes since they are fried in the same oil as foods with gluten.

The waitress was very nice and accomodating, she also had celiacs so she understood what was/wasnt safe. All the sandwiches on their menu can be made gluten free which was great. I got the lamb cheesesteak and it was so so good, the fries arent gluten free though.

I had the lamb cheesesteak and was pleased. The gf roll was light & not overly dry, which is a rare find. The server was knowledgeable about the menu and I felt safe eating there. Note: the fries are NOT gf.

This place was great for gluten free. They have a separate menu and the staff was very helpful. We ordered the spinach artichoke dip which comes with carrots and celery for gluten free, but they also asked if we wanted a warm gf bun to go with it also which tasted great with the dip. We would go back.

Absolutely delicious food. Our waitress knew all about celiac, which impressed me. She informed me that they do their best to avoid cross contamination but it is a small kitchen and nothing can be legally guaranteed. They say that on the menu too. But based on the other reviews here and the staff’s clear understanding of celiac I was willing to risk it. I’m not super sensitive but I do at the bare minimum usually get hella bloated when I am glutened. I had the mussels, shrimp cakes, and shepherds pie without any issues. I feel like they do a fantastic job of making things truly gf but have to give a standard warning to cover their butts.

I was thrilled with my GF experience here, as there was a large GF menu filled with items I can’t typically order at most restaurants. I had an excellent GF crabcake here and can’t wait to go back to try more options.
I’m not sure how sensitive I am to cross contamination but would definitely recommend this place to other celiacs!

I have Celiac and multiple weird food allergies. My daughter and I had the lamb cheesesteak and champ potatoes. She had garlic herb sauce; I did not. My husband had the crab cake and son chicken sandwich. All gluten free. Food was delicious. Audrey was a fantastic server. Wonderful experience overall.

Corned beef and cabbage was delicious! I am also dairy free so they gave me mixed veggies and rice instead of the creamed potatoes. Dairy free options marked on menu. They have gluten free (but not dairy free) strawberry shortcake for dessert. They have dinner rolls that are gluten free (but not dairy free) as well. My fiance had their reuben (not GF) and said it was one of the the best he's ever had.
They said most things on the menu can be made gluten free. Had the crab cake. It was awesome. They also had a chocolate Bundt cake that was nice.

They had a great dedicated GF menu. I had the crabcake dinner platter and it was amazing! It can be hard to find GF crabcakes as big as they had and at such a good price! ($19 market price) They also offered GF desserts that looked amazing, but I was too full from dinner. I am very gluten sensitive and felt fine after this meal.
Great restaurant and large GF menu. Ordered the Farmers chicken sandwich and came with one of the best GF buns I've ever had. Girlfriend ordered the Shepard's pie which is also on the menu and it was pretty amazing. Def would/will go back.

Absolutely amazing! Very friendly staff, who understand gluten sensitivity. The food was so amazing it’s hard to believe it’s gluten free. And for dessert they had a gluten free strawberry short cake!
Every person on staff knew what they were talking about. They have a separate GF menu (that is listed in the website!) and can even make crab cakes for you! The GF menu is very varied and has something for everyone. Very accommodating, very aware, and very delicious! I had the lamb stew with a GF roll. Also, according to my mom, the Irish Coffee was stellar. I highly recommend this Irish Pub.

2 things:
GOOD gluten free beer
Best gluten free Shepard's pie
We drive about 90 minutes to enjoy dinner here a few times a year. They never disappoint and I never get glutened.
I ordered the crab cake appetizer as my entree and it was delicious. When I asked the server if they cook the GF ones separately from the regular for allergies he said, “Don’t worry, we will make it happen.” And they didn’t disappoint. Great food, fun atmosphere, no reaction

8/30/19 After reading the reviews I decided to eat here while visiting Annapolis. What a wonderful experience. They have a GF menu that is quite large by GF standards. They do tell you that they have a small kitchen but take every precaution to avoid CC. I had the chicken quinoa hash salad and a Magners cider. The food was great, service was great, and the food was safe. Highly recommend. I did have a conversation with the manager. He said they know that there is a need for GF food and they work hard at meeting that need so people with celiac and gluten intolerance have a safe place to eat.

What a treat - GF lamb meatballs!

The staff was amazing and the food was more amazing. I am celiac and the food was some of the best I have ever had! Get the beef stew or short ribs. Both blew me away. I called before I came and spoke to the manager for ten minutes and he reassured me my meal would be fine and it was. They have a separate gluten free menu.

Wonderful staff, knowledgeable and helpful with the safe items on their GF menu for Celiacs and Non-Celiacs with Gluten Sensitivity.

Visited in March 2016, called a week ahead and notified them of Celiac and Milk Allergy. Very attentive; they asked me what I would like to eat. They called back to confirm some ingredients and I was able to eat their cottage pie and they used soy milk in the potatoes instead of butter. Excellent and accommodating. Bar tender very attentive as well, she has severe peanut allergy. They take celiac and food allergies seriously. One of the very few places where I feel at ease eating. Well done as usual!

OMG, Amazing food! Gluten-free items are marked on their menu, and they custom made me a gluten-free crab cake that was the best I've ever had. The staff was incredibly understanding and supportive of eating GF. The Killarney Cabbage Wraps were listed as gluten-free on the menu, so ordered them as an accompaniment to the crab cake. Perfect! Can't wait to return.
Lots of gf options on the menu including desserts. Good lunch-time value. Service was fast and friendly. Only missing was gf pasta option; but it's an Irish pub after all. Def going back to work my way through the menu.

Never had a bad experience/glutened here. Food fabulous and staff knowledgable.
Excellent service and food. I am celiac and they knew exactly what I could and couldn't eat.

When buffet only is going on items are not labeled as gf. limited bar menu for gf-probably cross contaminated.

Good knowledge of cross contamination
Has a gluten free menu, Irish Food. The sauces are made using corn starch instead of flour. If you like Shepherds Pie you will enjoy it here. Good place for Sunday Brunch if you are in Annapolis. Close to State House. Parking is on street only so it's a bit challenging if anyone in the group is handicapped.
