My first time at a Margaritaville. Nice atmosphere. Dedicated fryer, gluten free buns. A little pricey, but overall good.
We ate there twice during our week in Pigeon Forge. Both times the chef came to our table to discuss the order and assured us that they take Celiac very seriously. We felt very confident in eating there and did not experience any problems. Gluten-free items are marked on the menu.
I ate here twice on my recent vacation. One dinner, I had a grilled grouper sandwich on a gluten free bun with french fries cooked in a dedicated fryer. The other time I had a blackened grouper sandwich on a gluten free bun with french fries cooked in a dedicated fryer. Both times the waitresses were attentive and rung in my order as an allergy. They told me it would take longer for our food since the chefs would change gloves and utensils. We did have to wait a little longer for our food, but it was well worth the wait.
I asked the hostess when we walked in if they had a gluten free menu and she showed me on the regular menu that everything that has a picture with a wheat symbol is gluten free. She was knowledgeable. Our waitress was new and if she wasn’t quite sure of an answer she would go check and come back and let me know. They took it very serious even on an extremely busy Friday night that I have celiac.
The staff is very knowledgeable about gluten allergies. The menu has a little gf next to it if the item is gluten free. All burgers can be made gf with a gf bun and fries are good as well!! Best burger place ever!!
They didn’t have gluten free buns for hamburgers and I was told it was not a dedicated fryer so I just had the nachos. I didn’t get sick and considering gluten free seems to be non existent here unless you eat somewhere expensive, I’m happy!
My family of 4, with our 2 celiac children, came here to eat lunch before a movie based on the reviews on this app. It was early, not very busy. I asked for a gluten-free menu at host stand, they told me all items were marked on regular menu. While placing our order I informed server that my children have Celiac Disease. I asked her about fryer for French Fries, she took Ltd me that the fryer was gluten free. I ordered my kids a Paradise burger on a gf bun with fries. I repeated gluten free at least 3x. After about 30 mins of waiting she told us she would check on order. At 40 mins since entering the restaurant our food was brought to our table. I could instantly tell that it was not a gluten free bun. I asked, he checked the order and said there was no note for gf bun. We left, despite the fact that I didn’t want my food anymore either, they wouldn’t take it off bill. They removed my children’s meal and boxed my meal and my husband’s. I would give 1 star except: I appreciated that the food runner told me the truth (although he did ask if I still wanted to give it to them) and they did have many options on the menu. Overall, it was a disappointing experience. We won’t be back.
Wow amazing. The chef cane out to explain they change gloves, prep my stuff with new cutting board and knives and that the fries were in a dedicated fryer. He assured me they take this seriously and as I celiac I did not have to worry. No worries here and amazing food especially the fries!!!! Ps if you stay at the margaritaville hotel you can get GF room service from this restaurant. Woo hoo
seemed very knowledgable and accommodating. I had the chicken sandwich. the waiter went and double checked with the chef that they were using a dedicated fryer for their french fries. He confirmed that they were (but this suggests that it nay not always be the case so double check before ordering).
not too impressive. The gluten free bun was hard. the kids meals are $10 even to feed a 1 year old. so instead of me ordering what I wanted I had to order what my grandson could eat. (we are both gf but he can't have beef) They brought my burger out with a regular bun. so then we had to make a 1 year old wait for a whole new meal to be made AFTER waiting 45 minutes for the wrong meal to arrive.
Very nice place. We ate here after a nice day at Universal Studios. Found it on the app and got good reviews. Waitress was awesome. First thing asked for GF menu and she gave it to us and immediately offered to have the chef talk to us. Amazing! Good selections from grouper or chicken sandwich to steak and burgers with GF buns. Had the chicken and beef kabob with rice with a Margarita of course which was also GF. Had the GF brownie and vanilla ice cream for dessert. Nice presentation given the simple ingredients. Staff great. Will definitely go back. A+
Great food. Lots of options clearly listed. They get pretty busy but we love the food and the choices. Nachos and burgers were great.
I was at Universal Studios Orlando this past week and ate at Margaritaville. I ate the Bacon Cheese Burger w/ fries. I thought it was delicious! The burger came with a gluten free bun. I am highly sensitive to gluten and I did not get sick at all. I wanted to get the gluten free dessert brownie (since it's hard to find GF desserts) but I was so full from my yummy burger, I didn't get it. The server was helpful and there were several GF options to choose from. I would eat there again.
Ate at this location for the first time but had eaten at another in the past. Had cheeseburger and fries. Was quite good. Didn’t care for the cheese because it was the salty American type. Server told me they cook in separate area and fries separate too. Felt quite safe here. Would come again.
The paradise margarita is fresh squeezed, so no prob with any gluten mixes. We had the volcano nachos and split the bison burger and fries. Lots of options, menu is clearly marked and food was delicious. Sides are not marked but waitress assured me the fryer was designated for fries only.
nachos and margaritas....Gregory made sure everything was perfect in my drink because i had no reaction.
We ate here because of the excellent reviews. My daughter has celiac and is extremely sensitive to cross contamination. I told our waitress who brought up the sous chef who seemed knowledgeable. They have a gluten-free and vegetarian menu but do not have any vegetarian options on the gluten-free menu. She does not really eat meat so ended up having a nacho platter. She had some of my french fries that were prepared in a dedicated fryer. Also had some of the gluten-free brownie sundae which was absolutely delicious. Unfortunately she did get sick. I cannot think of another food item she had that day that may have been the trigger so I suspect it was the dinner. I have the gluten-free burger with fries which was a decent burger with a gluten-free bun and great fries. My husband enjoyed the grilled grouper sandwich also gluten-free. The only thing I could think of is maybe the shredded cheese was cross contaminated sometimes there’s a cellulose product on the shredded cheese that is not listed in the ingredients we have a problem with that in the store sometimes.
Gluten free buns and super yummy dedicated fryer fries but the buns were not ideal. I've had many that were way tastier. I couldn't drink my Margarita bc it was way way too strong. My husband even had a hard time and you couldn't taste any flavors in them. Waitress was average. Very expensive for mediocre food and average service.
Server was knowledgeable about celiac and told chef about my allergy. She was going to bring the chef out but she said she could just tell the chef what I was interested in and he would tell me if it's good to go or not. I ordered nachos and they were great, with no problems.

Great Gluten free menu and attentative staffI had the ribs, prepared Gluten Free, with fries and cold slaw. Another had the Salmon (also gluten free).No illness an we had a great time. Total cost about $30 each for meal and drinks.
Chef comes to your table to discuss your order and how they take precautions in the kitchen! Servers are very knowledgeable! Lots of food choices!
I just finished eating a meal here and had an awful experience. The staff originally came out and seemed very knowledgeable on cross contamination and even sent the chef out to speak with me and take my order. However, when my food came out my sandwich had the same bun as all of the other normal sandwiches. I did not feel comfortable eating the food they brought me when they replaced the incorrect order and definitely will not be coming back.
The food was decent. The waiter was incompetent and just plain obnoxious. Two of us got the same dish. I asked the waiter to let the chef know that I had celiac and to take extra care not to cross-contaminate. But when the plates arrived, he couldn't tell me which one was mine. And advice from the gluten question, he constantly questioned my judgment. And it took me patiently explaining twice what our whole table's orders were. Was he stoned? Or just no good at his job? I wouldn't go again. I'll know if he screwed up the gluten thing in two days, that's how long it takes to show symptoms.
