Lunch and dinner portions of gf pasta are the same. Do not order a dinner portion of gf pasta because you will not get it. Everything is pre-portioned. I just paid $29 for spaghetti alfredo with broccoli and shrimp added to it. The amount of pasta itself is very low and the manager will not do anything about it.

Got food from here a handful of times and always felt that it was just okay taste-wise.
It was made worse by the fact that every time I ate here I felt a little off. The last time I was very careful with everything else I ate that day and realized this place was definitely making me sick. Do not recommend.

I have been to many Pastini’s locations and have always been happy with my experience. In general, I think Pastini’s does a good job with celiac/ gluten allergies, but I ordered a salad tonight and there was a crouton in it. The manager came over and spoke with me immediately. She was very kind and apologetic, but a crouton is a crouton. I will not be back.

This place is great! When ordering I mentioned I'm gluten intolerant and the server let me know they have gf ziti noodles. I actually loved them over having regular fettuccine noodles. My husband got gf noodles too, so we could share our meals. I would recommend this place to everyone! We also had a delicious Caesar salad and our daughter loved the spaghetti noodles and marinara.

We ate at Pastini's for the first time a few weeks back. My daughter is celiac. They were very informed and aware of GF sensitivities and also let us now the owners have celiac in the family. My daughter had the Carbonara but we understand they can substitute GF pasta for most any of the dishes. We had a great dinner with no complications and will be back.

My daughter who is celiac had gluten free spaghetti with marinara sauce. She really enjoyed it. Staff informed us that all the sauces on the kids menu are gluten free. Our server was knowledgeable and helpful around the gluten free options. Would recommend this place, good lively atmosphere

Good GF pasta. Almost everything can be made GF. A few vegan options as well! One of my go to spots for Italian food!

I ordered lunch and I said I was Celiac and they showed me what all I could order, what I could change to be sure was gluten free and things they were unable to change. The cooked and prepared my meal separate and in a pan rather than on the cook top because I said Celiac. Made sure I knew which order was mine from the lunch orders.

They can keep you safe, but I really don’t like the food here. The gluten free noodles are too firm.
Yes
No more gluten free tiramisu 😭 obviously the reason i came (the distributor stopped selling gf lady fingers and they couldn't find them anywhere else) but the staff were all super knowledgeable and friendly. The food was pretty awesome, so i will still come back and recommend to others.
Gluten free tiramisu was the reason I went, great food and service are the reasons I will return.

“Great food, many options for GF pasta and best GF Tiramisu ever. Very nice servers.
This was my second-favorite restaurant while visiting the Portland area. The service was good and the staff knowledgeable. It made me feel extra-safe that my gluten-free orders came with a little gluten-free flag, as I didn't have to double-check whether my food had been made gluten-free. The prices were on the higher end, but the deliciousness of the mac and cheese, rigatoni zuccati, and gluten-free tiramisu justified the cost. I recommend!

I have eaten here several times with no reaction! They have tasty gf pasta and do well at their other shops as well with training their staff and labeling their menu.

Staff is knowledgeable and they label entrees as gluten free. I have Celiac and am very sensitive and have had the grilled chicken salad multiple times with no problem.

I have Celiac and ate lunch here. The waitress said I could eat here but about 20 min after lunch, I didn't feel well. I had the worst gluten reaction I've had since I was diagnosed 2.5 years ago. I will not eat at another Pastini again and do NOT recommend for Celiacs.
No
Be sure to stress with a food server that this is an allergy. They do a great job w/ minimizing cross contamination. I love their food and have never had a gluten reaction .

did well w gluten free. low on vegetables.

They have a lot of options for gluten free although, like most restaurants, they include a liability clause saying they can't guarantee any dish to be completely gluten free. I had the gluten free spaghetti and basil pesto which was awesone. Not the best gluten free pasta I've ever had, was a bit gummy, but the pesto was great.
I think the key with this restaurant is to be very clear about how you need your food prepared. I asked if they could cook the pasta in clean water and a pan and clean utensils and no bread and I didn't get sick. Maybe I got lucky? But I hope they open one of these in California soon.
My waitress wasn't that attentive to my son and I being GF. The pasta was good. We ordered a salad and mine came out with bread even when I specifically said GF no croutons or bread. I sent it back and they brought a new one out. But by the time a new one was out it was entree time.
I had the Chicken Marsala with Gluten Free Spaghetti. I didn't get sick but I thought the dish was bland. My fiance had the Mac and Cheese with gluten pasta and he also felt his dish was bland.
Pastini is a small family friendly restaurant with friendly staff. The GF spaghetti is delicious wherever it is used. Our waitress Mindy was knowledgeable about GF needs. They have GF Tiramisu. Yum.
We ate there last night. My daughter and I were sick today and think we got glutened.
Pastini has knowledgeable servers and many options that are great! Love the caprese salad and the gluten free Gamboretti. Yumm!
love this place. super friendly awesome salads and lots of options
After ordering one of their "gluten free" entrees, I was horrible ill. They had no idea how they made the mistake and no plan to make sure it didn't happen again. They didn't even offer to comp my meal.
A wonderful discovery; the gf options are at least as good as the rest of the menu. Terrific all around.
Two types of gf pasta available to sub for any of their regular pasta dishes. I can't report on cross contact. I ordered the spaghetti carbonara. Was good.

One of our favorite go-to places. They're very accommodating for all needs. I'm the celiac one, but my husband is low-sodium, and they answer all our questions and requests.
Easy, quick option. I asked, and they explained that gf pasta is always cooked separately and they have a protocol for an “allergy”. I’ve never had a reaction. When I’ve tried to order online, there is not an option to mark allergy, so I call instead.

I have never been so violently ill. Ordered gf pasta, manager assured me they take all precautions. 2 wks later I’m still recovering. Terrified to eat at a restaurant again :(

I loved it! I ate there every night on my week long trip. You can choose any of the pasta dishes and just tell them to use gluten free pasta! I recommend the pesto pasta, or the one with vegetables!
