I had a fantastic experience here today and would highly recommend it. Every staff member I came into contact with was knowledgeable about cross contact and gluten. As soon as I said “celiac,” my server (Joe) said “so gluten free!” He made sure to mark it well on our order and the staff member who brought out our food (Dee) confirmed every GF dish as he served it. The options are clearly labeled and the server was knowledgeable about them. The lettuce wraps, fried rice, chocolate soufflé, and pineapple coconut ice cream were all truly amazing. I also tried the Singapore noodles and they weren’t my favorite, but if you’re more into curry you would probably love them!
The wait staff was great, but they changed their menu and there are a lot less gf options. What I had was ok, the chicken lettuce wraps being the best, but the Singapor Street Noodles were not as good as they used to be. I was disappointed in that, but I didn't get sick so that was great.
My daughter ordered one of their gluten free options, and despite coming out on a white plate to indicate gluten free, it made her sick almost instantly. Also, the carpet was disgusting and our feet stuck to the floor. Everyone's entrees dis not cone at the same time. Most entrees were overly sweet and lacking the indicated spice level. Dismal experience for all.
LOVE THIS PLACE honestly the best go to that I tell friends to meet me for dinner at because I know I won’t be sick at the end of the night. Emphasize the gluten allergy to your waiter/waitress and you should be good and have a great night
Honestly all your fav options have a GF alternative. The lettuce Wraps being the best one ever!
I added a review here because of our first time eating at this PF Chang’s location, after which I got very ill very quickly. We suspect the appetizer we ordered was not prepared GF - most likely the server’s negligence. Since then, we have gone back several more times and not had any problems. So be careful to emphasize you are celiac if you need to! Otherwise, another great PF Chang’s.
We traveled to Memphis with our toddler who has celiac. We heard P.f. Chang’s was very celiac friendly. We took a chance and got takeout for our whole family. She had chicken fried rice and also some white rice. Everything seemed fine! She had no negative reactions! We will probably go here again during our next trip to Memphis. Thankful they are careful. Definitely helps make traveling easier.
Yummy!! Great menu choices. They actually have a gf section. I loved the better lemon chicken and my husband had moo goo gai pan and enjoyed it as well. The server was quick to bring us gf sauces and the gf dessert was really good! Nice and knowledgable staff. My only complaint is that dinner prices are a little high.
Best and most reliable GF food option in town. Once a tiny piece of normal noodle got into a GF dish of mine (not sure how). I showed it to the waiter, and within a minute, THE manager was there, was very apologetic, gave me a gift card, and comped my meal. They are super diligent about keeping a celiac safe.
Their food is so good, I love the options they have (especially the chicken and broccoli). I had the gf fried rice and it was delicious. I brought my leftovers home with me, and as I was eating them noticed multiple pieces of lo mein mixed in. That just seems so sloppy and shows they don't cook the gf stuff separately.
The menu was clearly marked for gf options. The waitress notice a mistake and grabbed it before I ate it. They have special colored plates so all the staff know it’s gf. I had the egg drop soup, chicken lettuce wraps, chicken pad Thai, and a wonderful chocolate cake with ice cream. Great portions, lots of leftovers.
I had a horrible experience today, I was actually so upset that I didn't even take the picture I should have but its my duty to warn other celiac folks. I have been here a few times and felt relatively safe…. Today I ordered the GF beef and broccoli and I made it very clear that I have celiac. My food came out and I was eating when I found a lo mein noodle, not a bean sprout not a rice noodle but a full gluten noodle. I spoke to the manager who then informed me that he thinks it can't from a pot with water where they cook the noodles…. He thinks kitchen staff “just must have carried it over” where my food was prepared and that it's “1 in million chance”. He also told me the noodles are prepared close to the broccoli. Wow. I was in disbelief that that's the practices. The entire explanation was not reassuring at all. If you have celiac, id really question this place….. The manager offered to replace the entree but after that I didn't want anything they prepared. What a total shame.
No longer has a separate GF menu. Have now combined into one menu with GF options clearly marked GFO (Gluten Free Option). Have eaten here many times and always received GF items on a designated GF platter. I always reconfirmed with the server that the food received was indeed GF as requested, even though it was served on a designated GF platter. Have never had an issue. They do takeout, but I have not done so. Not sure how they mark takeout items as GF. You need to inquire further.
