The staff was very knowledgeable about gluten free. They had a gluten free menu with a lot of options and they prepare the food and separate woks. Also server told us that when u are served gluten free food the plate looks different has lettering on it. So if you don’t see different plates you should question the staff.
They go out of their way to make sure us gf folks are taken care of. Everything from appetizers to dessert!
I used to eat here a lot with no problems, they're supposed to have a dedicated kitchen space and be celiac friendly. Recently I ate here and had the WORST reaction I've had in.. Forever, after eating the fried rice. My food came out a little too quickly (usually gfree stuff takes longer in order to prepare it safely) with my non-gfree friends order. My reaction was so bad that it started a few hours after I left. I was extremely disappointed, so I don't think I'll be returning at least for a long time. I made sure to email them and let them know, hopefully they fix things! Just be aware and emphasize you need a safe meal! This place does have a lot of great options, maybe I just had one bad experience.
The waitstaff is nice and knowledgeable, but there must be communication issues with the kitchen because I got sick again after eating at the Corpus Christi, TX location. It's only been an issue within the past year or so- I'm not sure what changed, but definitely will not eat there again.
Please be careful and ask for a manager before placing your order here. I ordered from the gluten free menu and found noddles in my gluten free dish. Although they apologized and remade the meal I could have become sick if I had consumed it. I understand the risks of eating at a restaurant that is not entirely gluten free but I have eaten here many times and never had an issue until now.
Although they now have a breakfast menu, there are no indications of which items are GF. Not sure why they do this for lunch/dinner options but not for breakfast.
