NOT Celiac friendly - AVOID
While the wait staff said to my wife and I, “we take food allergies seriously” and I do believe they were sincere, the kitchen staff either cross contaminated or put regular soy sauce in our meals. My wife, who has celiac, was sick before we boarded the plane, and I have some non-severe gluten sensitivities, which I felt as well.
Clearly list GF options and has a nice variety compared to other restaurants. Prices were also responsible since the entrees are designed to be shared by two people. They also have a GF dessert which made my wife extremely happy.
This was a great find. Several gluten free options in appetizers, main dishes and an amazing gluten free chocolate souffle. The hostess and our server were very knowledgeable about food allergies. They have separate plates to indicate gluten free. Gluten free items are clearly indicated on the menu. This will be our go to place when we have a layover in Atlanta. Located in A terminal. My husband has celiac disease and had no issues!!
I should have read the reviews before eating here.
I was on my way to Rome from a layover in ATL. While I was in the customs line in Rome it hit me. I was sick for the first couple of days in Rome and luckily I have healed enough that I was able to push through. But I somehow got CC from this location.
I recently ordered Changs spicy chicken as their gluten free option that was listed on the menu. I confirmed with the server when the food came that it was in fact gluten free, she said yes although seemed flustered with how busy the restaurant was. Having had this dish before at other PF changs, it didn’t look right however I blindly trusted it. It was in fact not gluten free and set off a weeks worth of health issues. If you go to the PF changs here at the Atlanta airport, make sure to confirm with the manager.
I eat here every time I come through Atlanta airport. I haven’t had a bad experience until today. The bar server (Omali) did not put my order in as gf. When I double checked, she said they would make another. I asked if it would be quick since my flight was boarding shortly and she and the other servers laughed like I was making an unreasonable request. This was not my mistake. They brought my food out as my flight was boarding (running with food bag at this point) and when I opened it, I realized there were regular (not gf) packets of soy sauce in it. Who knows about the food itself. Just make sure to double and triple check.
I told the waiter I was GF with celiac and ordered a GF option, but the order that was brought to me was not GF. I ate a few bites before realizing that my plate was the same as everybody else’s. The waiter hadn’t even coded my order correctly on the ticket. He apologized saying he thought there wasn’t a difference in preparation between the regular and GF spicy chicken. Do not take your chances at this restaurant if you have celiac. It made me sick.
This is the only decent place inside security to get a meal, other than salad if you need gf. Service great, quick, and staff very knowable. They even printed a "custom" menu for my husband who needs both gf and df. They also took special care with our daughter's nut and sesame allergies. The only reason they aren't getting 5 stars is that they did not have gf soy/tamari which made my selection of Budah's Delight (all veggies) steamed, and bland. However, supplementing with some of my husband's sauce from his entree helped.
I have been here twice. Both time were delicious! Did not get sick
Ordered the Gluten Free Mongolian Beef with gluten free soy sauce to go. It came out with regular soy sauce and it didn’t have the gluten free sticker on the entree like other locations so I asked the host and she assured me it was. The host rudely searched the bag and stomped off to get the gluten free soy sauce after we told her it wasn’t gf. I think she was mad at the kitchen but it came across as rude irritation with us. I’ve been incredibly sick that night and the whole next day. I believe that the entree was NOT GF. Beware!
Our "go to" place for a reasonably good lunch or dinner , when time permits
Food is always on par with other PF Chang's
Service is in the usual rush mode , due to the customers always rushing
Its like the 2nd busiest Chang's in the group and run by a licensee...They do a good job @ being a PF Chang's
The food was really good! Our server was knowledgeable and they clearly have a system to keep food GF. I am really sensitive and I had the Singapore street noodles and they were really yummy. My husband and sons are not GF and their food was really good as well. I would eat there again.
Has several gf entrees. My entree was huge and delicious. It's located inside the airport and was a nice place to rest between flights.
This was the worst PF Changs I have visited. I usually love it. While I am reasonably confident I wasn't glutened, the food was mediocre. I had the lettuce wraps (too much stuff and not enough chix - plus the lettuce wasn't very fresh or good quality); egg drop soup (not very flavorful and disappointing); and Changs chix (decent but not much sauce). I am not giving it a lower, but not bad rating because I put true gf over taste everyday! I hate getting sick.
Reasonable dedicated gf choices and they have gf soy sauce. But Be sure to confirm that they have brought the gf soy sauce. Spicy chicken dish is amazing and I recommend it. Large portions and conveniently located. One of my regular stops when I have more than an hour between flights. Staff appears well versed on gf issues.
My food came out on the special GF plate and I didn't have any issues so I know it was GF but I was concerned when the waitress brought me a fortune cookie. The food was delicious.
Pretty good. With a big group of people that didn’t have to eat gf. I appreciate that they put the gf stuff on different dishes, but felt like the waiter was distracted when I talked to him which made me nervous. The fried rice was blah, but I love the lettuce wraps and no symptoms.
Although I was nervous to eat at a chain, I was craving a hot meal during a full day of flying. I checked safety protocols with the host and server, both of whom noted the clearly marked gluten free options on the menu. When my food arrived -- broccoli beef with fried rice -- my server confirmed its gf status. It was DELICIOUS and plentiful, enough to share with my non-gf honey. No issues afterward and my gut is super sensitive. There are gf vegetarian, chicken, beef and shrimp options, as well as egg drop soup and a couple of appetizers. I encourage everyone to ask questions and advocate for your needs. When it comes to gluten-filled airports, though, this PF Chang's was a satisfying option.
Personally I have never gotten sick eating at a PF Chang’s. I love that I can go here to have Chinese food which can be hard to find GF. I always get the Chang’s spicy chicken with white rice and will usually split a pad thai or other GF noodle dish with my partner. They also have an amazing happy hour at the bar with great $5 margaritas. I believe the lettuce wraps are also on the happy hour menu which can be made gluten free. I feel like the staff is very knowledgeable about gluten and handles food properly. :)
