They were great at knowing about celiac and my need for gluten free. BUT they were unwilling to clean the grill to cook my burger on so I requested it to be on foil while cooking and they did that. I also asked for no GF bun as I’m very sensitive and idk if it was certified gf or just basic gf , when they brought it out it was on a bun so I requested it to be taken back and a new one cooked . This time the manager cooked it himself and it was great! And I didn’t get sick
Red Robin has gluten-free buns for their burgers. Many locations also have dedicated fryers for gluten free-fries. Please verify with your server.
My server was very accommodating and knowledgeable. He allowed me to open a new container of seasoning for my fries so they wouldn't be cross contaminated. He reassured me that they had a separate fryer for the fries and remembered my fries needed to be kept unseasoned when I ordered more. My meal was brought out by a manager wearing gloves, making sure it didn't even share a tray with the rest of the table's food. I was even offered a gluten free menu in the restaurant. My food came out much earlier than everyone else's and I have to admit that that felt quite nice.
We ate here for lunch today. Daughter had gluten free bun. Was pretty good. I had burger wrapped in lettuce-no bun and they do have designated fryers-you just have to get fries without seasoning. Waitress was knowledgeable and helpful. Good experience
Gluten free buns and their fries are gluten free. Watch the burger for toppings, ie the fried onion straws, but it is very easy to find a gluten free meal here!
This is probably my husbands favorite place to eat (he is a very strict celiac and gets very sick with very minor cross contamination). Never have had a problem with any cross contamination food at this place. The staff is wonderful, the hamburgers are delicious and you have a variety of options from the gluten free menu to choose from. He loves just having a hamburger and fries with everyone else and not worrying about getting sick. The kids also love this place and I do to. Variety of options for everyone -- especially those having to eat gluten free.
We’ve gone back 3x, DO NOT GET THE FRY SAUCE as it is not gluten free. We haven’t gotten sick as long as we avoid the fry sauce, husband has extremely sensitive celiacs disease and crohns. They have their allergy menu online and you can filter it to check things. :) Dedicated Gluten free bottomless fries. Food is flagged for allergies.
The manager actually has celiac disease and is knowledgeable and careful about serving the right food! On the other hand, my sister did have a mishap and had a breaded jalapeño fall into her cheese sauce. Luckily, she saw it and they fixed it right away. That was the first time we have ever had a problem at Red Robin. I think they do a great job of having gluten-free fries and gluten-free buns. I had a Cobb salad this time, which was delicious. I would suggest inspecting your food anytime you eat out, we were able to avoid a bad situation by asking questions before eating.
