Tutto il menù può essere fatto Gluten Free, e devo dire tutto molto buono. Peccato per la location perché l’ho trovata un po’ tristarella. Consiglio comunque di andare perché il cibo vale assolutamente la pena.

A wonderful experience at La Capriata. From the first moment we were greeted at the restaurant,we were asked if we needed a menu "sin gluten". The gluten free aglatelle al ragu Bolognese was to die for. And the rice cake dessert was one of the best gf desserts I have ever tasted! So moist and delicious! The service was impeccable!! I higgly recommend it!!

Loved it! Amazing pasta, amazing chocolate cake dessert, and really safe. The waitress immediately asked if someone was gluten free. Almost didn’t go because I the reviews on Google are somewhat low because of the quality of service or something, but I did not notice anything negative. Must-go when you’re in Bologna.

Highly recommendable. All dishes can be made GF leading to many choices for my wife and kids. Very nice and friendly staff with knowledge about celiac. We enjoyed lunch and dinner severally. Also kids friendly. Best GF restaurant in Bologna!

AIC certified. Almost everything on the menu can be made GF. I had the butternut squash/pumpkin tortelloni and it was incredible. They make the pasta fresh and it was one of the best pastas I had in Italy. We enjoyed sharing the dessert sampler plate.

Went off the reviews here and wasn’t disappointed. Greeted at the door by a woman making fresh GF tortellini. Presented with warm fresh bread and a full GF menu. Options galore. Definitely make this a must do on your visit to Bologna.

This is a must go situation people! They have a separate kitchen. They make homemade GF Tortellini with Bolognese sauce. I also had the GF veal Cotoletta. Both were amazing. No reactions at all. All desserts are GF. If you come at the right time they have someone making all their stuffed pastas right in the window. Excellent food, great servers.

My favourite place to eat in Bologna. I have visited the city multiple times now, and each time I do I eat at La Capriata multiple times for each visit.
The quality of the pasta, despite being gluten free, is outstanding. The ragu is the best ragu I have eaten in Bologna to date. The Balanzoni is a must have - my boyfriend was stealing some from my plate throughout the meal! It is also the only restaurant I have found so far that offers green lasagna gluten free!
The service is also great, the staff are so friendly and welcoming.
I am not sure why this restaurant only has 3.8 stars on Google - it should have 5 stars in my opinion!

Ristorante La Capriata is a gem! Great service and the food was amazing. I had the Balanzone - divine. I never thought GF pasta could be so good. My husband had the tortellini al ragu and was very happy with it. We had an appetizer with tomato and caramelized onion which was very good. Tasty GF bread. Many GF options to choose from.

We got slow and a bit lazy service. The place has gluten free menu, with many options. We eat gluten free Tortellini with ragu, it was not so good, during our stay in Bologna we had better ones.

Unbelievable! The best gluten free pasta I have ever had. We had the tagliatelle al ragu as well as the poker dessert, which was a mixture of 4 of their desserts (all gluten free). The chocolate fondant was especially delicious!

This restaurant has exceeded my expectations on gluten-free tortellini. My family and I absolutely devoured our meals, definite 10/10. They ask you at the door if you are gluten free or not, and have the exact same options as the original menu, just for celiac.

Great meal with so many gluten free options! My daughter was able to get delicious pastas traditional to the region. We enjoyed green tortelloni, as well as, a white tortellini with Gorgonzola and pears. Best dessert of our trip was their pistachio semifreddo. Many other options included! Lovely outdoor spaces on either the patio or the courtyard.

Everything can be made GF! Warning: Just verify with the food runners that what they are giving you is gluten free. GF plates are marked with a dot of balsamic vinegar. The GF bread is “meh”. The GF fried bread is similar to a Mexican Sopaipilla without the sweetness and is nice. We really liked our meals of GF Lasasgna and Tortellini Bolognese sauce.

The best gf pasta I’ve ever tasted. The menu is huge and felt super safe eating here. Lovely knowledgeable staff. All gf food dishes come with a dot of balsamic so there is no confusion. We loved it so much we went back again before the end of our holiday. Honestly I nearly cried I was so happy, but it’s a rare feeling that I don’t feel either unsafe or like I’m missing out. You won’t regret it.

I got the tortelloni with ricotta and pumpkin. They are AIC (Associazione Italiano Celiacchia) certified, so they know how to handle cross contamination. I’m not entirely sure of the precautions they take, but I’ve stopped asking places with the AIC designation, so long as I tell them I have celiac.

Freshly made pastas, tortellini, lasagna, fresh bread-all gluten free. I had tortellini with Gorgonzola and caramelized pears, and it was amazing! There were so many options it was hard to decide.
AIC certified, so very safe!

This place was really great and also creative in their menu (for example chestnut tagliatelle, pumpkin tortelli…). The first thing they asked was if I need the GF menu - which was the same as normal but sometime with higher price (about 1€). They gave GF bread as first course for free. The food was really great - I had the best time with my “Chestnut Tagliatelle with crispy bacon, leeks and pericono do Fossa”. Desserts were good but nothing special.

It was nice, the tortellini was lovely and very tasty. The service could have been better, no offer of any gluten free alternative to the bread basket which is a shame as this has been offered in many other gluten free places across Italy. This being said, the food options were good and worth a visit. Their pasta was clearly homemade and delicious.
