Pancakes are made on the same surface as non GF but our waiter was super aware of Celiac and had kitchen staff clean the griddle. Also, get the Green Chili Benedict.. so so good!!

The food was tasty, but there's a reason the website and menu doesn't stress GF options. Wife and son are both Celiac. Server was honest enough to admit that kitchen put gluten (+) pancake on son's plate. Both of them have had severe flares for past 2 days. Don't go if truly sensitive, the cross-contamination is bad.

My husband and I flew into Denver on our way to Boulder, CO. We stopped by Snooze Eatery for breakfast and I was highly impressed with all of the amazing and delicious gf options! The wait on a Sunday morning was to be expected so we had spicy Bloody Mary's on their patio while we waited for our table. Great modern environment with upbeat tunes and friendly, informed waitstaff. We split their Bella Bella Benny and OMG French Toast. Both were to die for! I am always skeptical when it comes to finding great gluten free food with foodie twists but this will have me craving Snooze until we get back to Denver. We could use a Snooze in Austin TX.

I let the waitress know I was celiac. The chef came our to talk to me, which was comforting. My pancakes were sent out one at a time, another comforting thing. I can't tell if they only cleaned enough grill space for one pancake at a time or if it was so busy they were being super careful about keeping them separate. Either way, delicious and safe for me.

We ate here in mid-October while in Denver on a campus visit. Very popular breakfast restaurant. We loved our food. My daughter has celiac and ate the GF pancakes and did not have any problems. I had the OMG French Toast which is to die for! My husband loved his meal as well.

Awesome breakfast one of the best I have had. Had a classic Benedict and it was amazing! Our wonderful server who is GF too heard my debate between pancakes and Benedict's so she brought a pineapple upside down pancake for us to try! It was also amazing. We went on a sat and I hear to always expect hour long waits for the whole day. But it was worth it. Also wonderful drinks as well!

It's a cool place to look at, our waiter was not concerned we were there, took 10 mins before we were even asked for drinks. When he finally did come to take our order, I mentioned I have a severe allergy and he just looked like a deer in the headlights. I ordered as best I could knowing what my body puts up with. I was breaking out what hives from something that was on the table before we were even served. Next time, if there is one, I'll be doing carry out.

MUST GO! The staff was super educated abut food allergies. If you can't have dairy you cant have the pancakes or waffles bc they use cup for cup flour which was disappointing but great they knew that! I opted for the plain French toast instead which they used almost milk for..so nice!

Good pancakes but generally a LONG wait. Be prepared to PAY the price for the GF request! A bit pricey! No area for separate prep of GF either. If you are sensitive to cross contamination, this would be a No Go. Try Jewel's Cafe instead. Totally GF.

I went here once and ordered the blueberry pancakes. They tasted amazing and I felt fine. I was told that it is a "gluten-free friendly" environment, but that most of their menu was gluten-free by default. And I felt fine afterwards. Fast forward 3 days later, I come here and order the same gluten-free blueberry pancakes. However, this time around I experience some of the worst gluten symptoms I've ever had. Insides on fire for multiple days. Unsure whether the pancakes themselves were not GF (which could have been an ordering mistake), or there was serious cross-contamination. Either way, I would recommend Celiacs avoid this place, since there is likely a high amount of cross-contamination.

The food is so very yummy! There are only 2 items on the menu not served gluten free. Special tip: flight size pancakes for dessert. What's the best time to get there? That is ancient secret. There were only 2 items on the entire menu that couldn't be made GF. I was so happy to have so many options! I ended up ordering huevos rancheros but since this my first trip here, my waiter brought me a cinnamon butter pecan pancake free of charge to try. Smart man because I will definitely be back! It was beyond delicious! I am usually wary of GF bread options because of texture. I miss bread but many bread replacements don't cut it. This pancake was AMAZING - delicious and the texture was perfect. I can't wait to go back! Our waiter said they can't guarantee that there will be no cross-contamination but their kitchen has special areas and griddles for their GF menu items. No stomach pains for me and multiple delicious options means I will be back!

Gluten-free possibilities abound at this delightful sunny-side-up brunch spot, with almost any menu item available as a GF option. Just let your server know and your choices will be happily accommodated. Their online menu doesn't include this information but it's true! As with most restaurants, cross-contamination can happen but the staff promises to keep things as GF as possible. Like me, you've likely discovered it's a matter of degree in determining whether to dine out here or elsewhere. I had no issue with the food here even though I'm highly sensitive. First time in 8 years that I've had French toast that exceeded my expectations. Yes! The grilled cheese on GF bread with tomato soup and GF blueberry Danish pancake with lemon creme filling are recommended as well for those looking for GF comfort foods that aren't too heavy or sugary. Absolutely delicious food, knowledgable service, and modern vintage diner decor make Snooze AM Eatery a most welcome addition to Austin's ever expanding array of GF-friendly restaurants.

I asked all my usual questions (prep area, change gloves, how they reduced risk of cross contact, and so many more) and both the hostess and server were quite knowledgeable. I felt very safe eating there. All that AND a cup of coffee while waiting for a table! Next time, we will call ahead to save the 30 minute wait. Seems they are always busy and that was a short time.
