They have gf pancakes and waffles. Gf food was served separately in a to-go container. Food and experience was good!

I drove a ways to get there and discovered that they just chose to shut down early. Make sure that you call first and verify that they are open before taking the time in the field to get there. I went next door to the grill place for breakfast and the food was good but the service sucked.
It was great! The waitress knew what celiac was. Food came out in a to-go box to avoid cross contamination. It seemed like they really cared. I had the banan foster pancakes. Super light and fluffy. They were great!

They know about celiac and brought my dish out in a to go container because I guess the plates might be cross contaminated?

Ate breakfast here as I was motivated by the gluten free pancakes. I was not a fan of these. Very bland even with fresh fruit on top. I did not get sick. My family enjoyed their breakfast. Quite pricey for breakfast

Had breakfast here mid week. Our first time visiting. Gluten free items were clearly marked on the menu. I ordered the GF pancakes with fresh fruit and it arrived in a take out box. Waitress said they prepare all GF items separately and try to avoid any cross contamination. Offered to bring me a plate once my meal arrived to me at the table. Pancakes were fluffy and good. Fruit was fresh.

Our waitress was amazing! She was knowledgeable about celiac and made a point to let me know what they were going to do with making my food. It came in a takeout box and they offered to bring me a plate so I wouldn’t have to eat out of the box. I would highly recommend, the waffles with strawberry sauce were amazing and the bacon was perfectly cooked. Can’t wait to come back next year!

Meh. Super underwhelmed with this experience. The food was definitively marked gluten free, which we appreciated, and my daughter did fine with her pancakes, but the food was not that great (both the gluten and non-gluten). I also didn't love that they brought her food out in a to-go box. I appreciate separating it, but it was weird. Overall, I would recommend Skillets in Hilton Head 1000x more than Stacks if you are looking for a good breakfast.

Delicious thick pancakes and they asked me if I had gluten allergy and asked if it was celiac. I've never really been asked that before. Made me feel extra safe with this place.

We went there because I could get GF pancakes. They were not good. Heavy and dry. I was so disappointed. The rest of our party said the other breakfast items were good but also didn’t like the pancakes.

My celiac daughter ordered the gf kids pancakes and loved it! The waitress was very knowledgeable and accommodating. They told us it was cooked on a separate line and brought her meal in a to go container to prevent any cross contamination. SO good, so easy and so happy!

Celiac safe gluten free waffles! Server was knowledgeable about celiac. Waffle was served in a to go box with syrup and an allergy plate. Protocols are above and beyond, did not get sick.

This family owned business was so attentive to my GF food! I haven’t eaten a waffle in forever! It was so good that we came back the next morning. So tasty and the staff knows exactly what celiacs is all about.

Only item marked GF was GF pancakes or waffles.
We had a GF waffle and added chocolate chips and GF pancakes with bananas on top. Very yummy! Added a little butter and barely needed any syrup.
Items came out in takeout boxes with a flag in them to designate they were GF.

We ordered gluten-free pancakes and care was taken to enter celiac on the ticket so precautions would be taken. When they brought the order out we asked again to be sure it was gluten-free and were assured it was. However, we discovered a couple hours later that the pancakes we received were definitely NOT gluten free when my daughter became violently ill. We will not be going back.

Outstanding. They have a separate waffle iron and gf batter that was delicious. They plate the Belgium waffle in a take out container as it comes off the griddle and close the lid. This is to protect it from cross contamination from flour used in the facility. Wait staff was very knowledgeable about gluten. Friendly too. I felt like a normal person eating regular stuff.

I had the kids meal gf pancakes and they were so good! Best gf pancakes I've had in a while. No side effects.
Separate gluten free waffle maker and pancakes made separately
I ordered the gluten free waffle with a side of 2 eggs. The food was good, and I wasn’t exposed to gluten but the food was not near what I expected. This place reminded me of an iHop. It’s definitely an option for gluten free people, but don’t get your hopes up too much. It also can be a little pricey.

Gluten free pancakes were great. If you tell them you are celiac when you order, they will avoid cross contamination.
Chocolate pancakes for great for my daughter! She never gets pancakes EVER until this place. Just tell them it’s for a person with celiac and they will be sure to avoid cross contamination. My daughter had them several times, no issues.

I was so hopeful going in to try this place because of the good reviews but I was sadly disappointed. I ordered the gluten free pancakes and a side of hash browns. My pancakes came out in a carry out box which made confident that they were gluten free but they were not done inside so I had to send them back. These were my first pancakes since my Celiac diagnosis so I guess my hopes were just too high because even when they brought some out that were cooked properly I was still disappointed in the taste. I asked about the syrup that was brought out and was informed that it was not gluten free so she got me some individual Smuckers syrup that she said was gluten free. The hash browns were mushy and over seasoned. The waitress was nice and she went to the manager when she was unsure about the syrup. My husband ordered off the regular menu and he was also disappointed. Maybe we just went on an off day for them because I have read numerous good reviews.
Staff was friendly and service was quick.

Wow!! Just wow!! Incredible GF pancakes, staff very knowledgeable about GF and separate cooking areas and even separating foods to avoid cross contamination. We haven’t had pancakes in a restaurant in years and these were absolutely amazing. Our new breakfast spot in Hilton Head! They also have GF waffles, hashbrown casserole, bacon, sausage, and ham all GF as well. Plenty of celiac friendly options and even dairy free options.

Felt sick immediately after eating the GF/DF pancakes with a side of bacon. Quality wasn’t there either. It tasted almost under-cooked and dense/gummy.
No
Very knowledgeable, friendly staff. Brought our GF pancakes (cooked on separate grill area!) in a takeout container to avoid cross contamination. Recommend.
Yes
Very good! They ask if you’re celiac and then to ensure there’s no cross contamination they bring it out in a box. Very good pancakes- had the vegan /gf option but my friend got the regular gf and those were soo good! All very good, big portions.
Yes
Just ate here and they had many GF options. The server was knowledgeable about Celiac and cross contamination. They prepare the GF items in a separate area of the kitchen. The GF pancakes came out in a to go box so the server knew exactly which one was GF. It was served separately to me. The condiments, syrup and utensils were brought out in a bag that was sealed so there was no chance of cc. Overall great experience. Won’t know how I feel until tomorrow but I’m assuming I’ll feel great! Highly recommend.

Huge servings! Gf pancakes were flagged with toothpicks to distinguish between the regular pancakes.

Update: they now have gf toast. Wow, the most caring restaurant aside from a 100% gf restaurant! This is as good as it gets! When we ordered gf they asked if we were Celiac and made a note of it. My son ordered pigs in a blanket off the kids menu (pancaked wrapped sausage and I got the waffle with pecans. Everything was delicious! Our meals came out in closed containers and they even bring a brown paper bag with sealed syrup and sealed plastic fork if you prefer. They definitely take cross contamination seriously. Our waiter was very attentive too!

Food was good. Staff was knowledgeable. Didn’t get sick!

Very, very good! Didn't get a fancy to go box like everyone else but it was on a green plate with a green toothpick. Was advised 3 times it was GF. Had some eggs and hashbrowns with it, all extremely good.
Ordered the vegan pancake with fruit topping because I have to eat dairy free too. It was okay but not the best GF/DF pancake I’ve eaten. Service was good though!
Very knowledgeable staff and lots of choices. The GF pancakes were thick, fluffy and delicious! Will definitely be eating here again.

Best GF waffle I ever had. Service was great also.
Friendly staff, great GF options, they brought my sons GF pancakes, eggs and bacon in a special ToGo box and offered a clean plate. The staff was knowledgeable and took great care. We will be back here to eat.

Gluten free pancakes and waffles. Waitress asked if I had celiac and brought food out in a to-go box to avoid cross contamination and a freshly washed plate. Good breakfast spot!
Yes
The staff and servers were very knowledgeable about celiac disease. The server even informed us that the kitchen follows a strict cleaning process for gluten free dishes. They have a separate waffle iron and gluten free pancakes. Separate condiments are provided for those with celiac and the gluten free dishes are served in a separate container. I was very impressed. The waffles are delicious and fluffy. My sister had them with chocolate all over them. I had the pancakes and they were large and fluffy. They looked better than the regular pancakes! Though I didn’t have toast they said they have a separate gluten free toaster. My parents said the regular food was good too! A great place and perfect for celiacs.
Yes
Gluten free pancakes were delicious! Came in a styrofoam container, so little chance of cross contamination.
Yes
Had a yummy gf blueberry waffle. Very careful with cc... even brought our plastic wrapped silverware and my waffle in to go container to help with cc. Yum!

Had breakfast here this week and it was great. Many GF options and the staff is very knowledgeable about cross contamination concerns. My waitress even asked if I said celiac and said “honey, I got ya!” My toast was toasted separately and brought out in a container. No issues whatsoever!
Gluten free options. Separate waffle maker (although our waitress did not know this but once she asked she offered to change my order). The pancakes were awesome! Light and fluffy just like regular. They were served in a to- go container to avoid contamination. A “celiac bag” consisting of plastic utensils, separate syrup. Very conscious about contamination.
