My order did take longer to cook but that was to ensure there was no cross-contamination. For the peace of mind, I was happy to wait. Food is excellent and almost anything on the menu can be made gluten free.

At all of the Tacoria locations I’ve been to, they’ve been instructed to notify the manager when you order and say you have a gluten allergy. The manager is always knowledgeable about cross contamination and preparing the dish safely. Generally most items can be made Gluten Free, but always check about the chips because some locations use shared fryers. Unfortunately, they inconsistently have the option to mark celiac/gluten allergy online, so I usually call before and after my order to make sure they mark it correctly as a gluten allergy.
This is one of my go to spots in Princeton because I know I can eat there safely.

Good food, great service! The staff was very knowledgeable, discussed the precautions they take, and made me feel confident they understand the necessity to eliminate cross contamination for Celiacs. Enjoyed my food worry free and did not get sick. Highly recommend.

Great food and good knowledge of cross contamination. The menu is labelled, the woman who took my order labeled it as gluten allergy and told me all allergy orders are handled by the restaurant manager.

This should have a much higher rating. I’ve eaten here twice a week for the past 6+ months and have not had a single issue with gluten or cross contamination. The workers are so nice and recognize me, and always clearly label the allergy order. Only a couple items have gluten, but they make all allergy items in a separate area.

My daughter got glutened, and it was because of the staff. On the menu, the roasted corn does not have GF next to it. But we asked anyway because usually roasted corn is gluten free. The girl at the counter checked with someone in the back and said it was a misprint and it WAS indeed gluten free. Uhhhh don’t think so. My daughter threw up 10 times. Also the menu says the nachos are GF but when we asked, they said the nachos were NOT GF. We didn’t even give her nachos because we wanted to be safe but the corn ended up being a problem. I’m sure this place is fine for someone who does not have Celiac, but definitely not good for a person with Celiac.

The menu items that are gluten-free are labeled, and if you tell a staff member that you have a food allergy/ celiac they will make sure to change gloves and make your food on a clean surface!

Can never go wrong with Tacoria! Relatively cheap and absolutely delicious. They know their stuff about allergies so make sure to tell them when you order. Killer spot!
Recently found out chips are cooked in a shared fryer... not sure if that is a recent development, as I haven't had reactions in the past. Beware!

I have been coming here for a long time and they have great gluten free labeling. However recently someone who works there told me that the Brussels sprouts are fried in the same oil as the golden avocado which is not gluten free. Does anyone know if this is true?

We called to ask about the fryers, and the nice person on the phone put me on hold so she could verify with the chefs. She confirmed that the chips are only fried in the same soybean oil as the brussel sprouts, and are in a separate fryer from the breaded avocado. She alerted the staff of my order, and said everyone is well trained to prevent cross contamination. My kids loved the food, and no one got sick!!!
