My daughter got glutened, and it was because of the staff. On the menu, the roasted corn does not have GF next to it. But we asked anyway because usually roasted corn is gluten free. The girl at the counter checked with someone in the back and said it was a misprint and it WAS indeed gluten free. Uhhhh don’t think so. My daughter threw up 10 times. Also the menu says the nachos are GF but when we asked, they said the nachos were NOT GF. We didn’t even give her nachos because we wanted to be safe but the corn ended up being a problem. I’m sure this place is fine for someone who does not have Celiac, but definitely not good for a person with Celiac.

The menu items that are gluten-free are labeled, and if you tell a staff member that you have a food allergy/ celiac they will make sure to change gloves and make your food on a clean surface!

Most of their food is GF, and in their menu they let you know which items to avoid. They also offer vegan items if you are dairy free. Food is delicious

This is regarding the one in New Brunswick specifically but doesn't matter since they all seem to run the same way**

Giving this 3 stars to be generous since I couldn't actually get the chance to eat this food, because thankfully I called before hand. They have many gluten free notated items on their menu, so I was excited to find a place i could get nachos.

I called to verify the chips are gluten free and they said yes, but when I continued to asked if they are fried in the same oil as gluten products they said they are. Therefore not gluten free and safe for those who have an actual Gluten allergy (celiac). Food is not made with gluten ingredients but fried in oil with gluten ingredients.

Gluten free symbol on menu therefore may not be accurate for those with actual allergies and not just a lifestyle choice. Common misconception and lots of us have to find out the hard way if we don't ask many questions.

I'd think about putting that disclosure on the menu/website to ensure no one is going to get sick or get an allergic reaction.

I called before to verify notated items are actually gluten free, was told yes but as i pried deeper found out that NO they are not. very deceiving.

Gluten free options marked on menu. They also have a lot of vegan options. I tried a Brussels sprout bowl and enjoyed it. The chipotle sauce they toss the Brussels sprouts in is amazing!

This place is NOT celiac friendly. The counter person was not knowledgeable about gluten allergies when mentioning it and told us if we just ordered something that said GF we will be fine. They have an open kitchen line however and I could see them heating corn tortillas and flour tortillas on the same surface with no glove change. The food seems good but NOT for someone with an allergy. Try the Mezoco taco truck at the Montclair Farmers Market every Saturday!

Rude counter person and they had no idea what Celiac was. The chips are fried in the same fryer as other fried items so they aren’t safe. I had to ask and explain why that would be an issue to get an answer. I found that ridiculous. I left without ordering anything.
