I have celiac disease and go here often. I feel completely safe. I think I have had every GF dish on their menu!

They take the gluten "allergy" very seriously. Our food is always brought out by a manager and with an allergy flag. As with any chain, I recommend vigilance each time, but we've been here lots and had good experiences every time. And they have SO MANY gluten free kid-friendly options, it is a treat for us.

I spoke with the manager before eating here because of the mixed reviews. She does not recommend anything on the grill because buns are placed on it. Does not recommend pizza. Shared areas. Anything fried is fine. I had a ceasar salad.

Food was good and I felt fine but small portions for how expensive. 6 wings was $16 I definitely can’t say I’d go back unless a large group was set on it.

We have eaten at Tavern in the Square on many occasions at the restaurant and takeout. The food is really good overall, and there are a lot of options for both my kids who have celiac. My recommendation is make sure to check your food if you get takeout before you leave the restaurant. We had two occasions where they labeled the food with the allergy sticker but the items were not gluten free. Both times we told the manager and they took care of it for us very quickly and gave us a gift card both times. The buns and the pasta have a distinct look.

I eat here all the time and have never gotten sick despite being a pretty sensitive celiac! Many many options and huge portion sizes

In a word: horrible!
To elaborate: I was here tonight with a group of 7 other people, I'm the only one with (non-classical/non-GI symptom) celiacs. I would never recommend those with any food sensitivities or allergies eat here! The fault was definitely not with our waitress, it was definitely the *MANAGER*. First my plate came out with a random piece of pasta on it, but then others at our table were brought dishes with a gluten allergy flags on them. Whaaat??! We pointed this out to the waitress, who alerted the manager. We could see her talking to him as he was brushing off her concerns as they walked past our table without taking my plate. Again, hellooo, whaaat is going on here? They had an animated conversation in the back of the restaurant that left her almost in tears! Then he took my plate, came back again with a flag on it with *the piece of pasta STILL on the plate*! We pointed that out yet again, then he came back with my plate with the pasta off and flagged, but the food was totally cold. All he did was take that piece off or maybe replate it, nothing more. He never apologized for any mix-up (Who knows why everyone else was brought wrong dishes? The waitress apologized profusely for the kitchen confusion and replaced theirs.) and he wouldn't even look at any of us in the face. Horrible experience, my sympathies to the staff as well. I'd rate ZERO if I could. I get it that no restaurant can 100% guarantee no exposure to allergens and food sensitivities -- it's a working kitchen. But the *MANAGER* didn't care AND *obviously* lied to me TWICE, open disregard. Employee practices and attitudes are top-down. Again, not the waitress' fault, she's got my sympathy. IMO: steer clear of this place!

I got glutened eating here :(. I asked about the fryers, and was told one is gluten free and one is not and they cannot guarantee that anything fried is gf. My burger was super tasty, but by the end of the day I was sick.

Great food. Portions were good sized. All gf items came out with allergy sticks to identify them. The Nashville hot chicken sandwich was hot, crunchy exterior on a very good bun. Would definitely recommend.

I’ve eaten here twice and both times have gotten sick. First time there was random pieces of pasta in my salmon dish and last night I had the honey Sriracha chicken tenders that I asked a lot about how they were prepared and I got very sick off of them. Really disappointed as I decided to give this place another try but had a bad experience again.

Very happy to find a new fun place to eat. They did not make a big deal of their gluten free practices, but the server was confident and I was pleasantly surprised to have my meal delivered by a manager with an allergy pick. We ordered two GF meals. They were both delicious and safe. They have a dedicated frier and a nice selection.

Great food. Acknowledgment of my need to be strict Gluten free by the server. Confirmed separate deep fryer so no cross contamination. I ordered the burger and fries and it was cooked perfectly.

Verified Separate GF Fryer. Daughter was happy with all of the GF options here. Pretty much everything can be made gluten free. She ended up getting French fries and guacamole- both came out with an allergy flag.
