I have been to Ted’s Montana Grill several times in the past, but not to this location. I have always enjoyed the food and felt safe there as a celiac who eats strictly gluten-free. I had the grilled chicken sandwich and fries, which were wonderful. I was also very excited to be able to have a vanilla milkshake. Everything was delicious and I had no reaction. I felt safe eating here with the precautions that they take.
The experience in & of itself was fabulous. Wait staff knew & understood GF stuff. Gf menu was provided. I had the Canyon Creek Burger. & The chili nachos as an appetizer. Both tasted great. A bit on the salty side for my taste thus the 4 stars. The GF bun was great!!!! I highly recommend this place!!!! Go with a big appetite!!!🙂
I was in Atlanta for a convention Labor Day weekend. It was a very busy evening, as the convention and a big football game were both happening. I had spent a couple days seeing and smelling hamburgers at different places and used this app to start my search for somewhere i could get a burger. I called the restaurant and was very pleased to find their gf bun was one I could eat. Looking at the menu, if i hadn't been cravy a burger, I definitely wouldve splurged on a steak. It was a busy night, but we were able to get seating at the bar instead of waiting an hour. My burger was excellent! The bun was good. The fries may have been a tad over done, but the point was the burger which definitely made our walk completely worth it.
Came here as I saw they had a separate gluten free menu. I was craving burgers, but the server saw my hesitation and said the salmon was my best bet. I absolutely loved the salmon, it was juicy and flavorful. The mashed potatoes were also yummy, as was the parmesan broccoli. I had the lemonade, which my server refilled before I even asked.
I got a booth to myself towards the back of the restaurant, which was wonderful as I was able to take a work call with a fair amount of privacy around me. Would absolutely come back next time I'm in town!
Ted Montana’s was incredible! They have a dedicated gf menu, but they also accommodate other allergies as well. When I notified the waitress, she immediately told the chef who made my meal to order. The food was so fresh. I got a burger and fries that were delicious. Highly recommend!
We ate here for dinner. There were plenty of choices. I had a steak, mashed potatoes and broccoli. Meal was good, but nothing to write home about. They have homemade chips and homemade dip which are also gluten-free. Cooked in a separate fryer. They were delicious. I felt completely safe eating here.
Underwhelming visit and disappointing given the good variety of gluten free offerings. Service was very slow, not attentive. The roasted broccoli was not fully cooked and the drink (Buffalo41) was very weak, tasted mainly like fruit punch. Our fries came out later separately after our burgers. On the bright side my mushroom bison burger was very good.
Fantastic experience. I ordered the chips, wedge salad, and bison filet with a baked potato and asparagus. Service was great and everything came out hot and well timed despite it being busy.
We went on an extremely busy night. Ended up sitting at the bar and the bartender was great. Expect a long wait if on the weekend. I had a burger on a gf bun and it was really good. I got broccoli that was pretty bland and regret not trying the fries. Was too busy for me to ask a lot about the dedicated dryer though. No reaction and I’m a pretty sensitive celiac. Be prepared that parking is terrible and you will need to pay to park.
Excellent food. Great service! My youngest has Celiac, and my oldest and I are gluten intolerant with my oldest also being dairy free. They gave us a gf menu and Seemed knowledgeable. My youngest ordered the kids grilled cheese and fries but on a gf bun. I had a burger same way. The oldest also had a dairy free burger with gf bun. Everything was delicious! We went after a long day at the Georgia Aquarium visiting from Texas. Would definitely go back.
Ted's Montana Grill has a gluten-free menu and a dedicated GF fryer, so the french fries and house made chips were safe! The gluten-free selection was somewhat limited as gluten-free selections tend to be but I was able to have a very delicious steak with fries and asparagus, and a milkshake. The server was knowledgeable, friendly and helpful and was able to get information seemed trustworthy when she didn't know.
The staff was so friendly and answered all my questions about cross contamination and what was safe or not. I had a burger with a gluten free bun, and it was honestly one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. I also had fries, since they’re fried in their own fryer. Great experience there!
Had dedicated gluten free menu with a lot to chooses from. I got the bison filet with baked potato and asparagus. I am also peanut intolerant so I asked the server about that. She was able to answer right away. Order came fairly quickly and I have to say that for the money, everything was worth every penny. Everything tasted very good and I have to say that the filet was the best I EVER tasted. I’m not used to being able to have a filling meal with 2 sides but I was very impressed! I had absolutely no digestive issues afterwards. I will definitely be back.
Server was amazing when it came to all the inquiries we had but unfortunately the kitchen didn’t do so well. Taste was fine not celiac friendly regardless of the Gluten Free menu offerings (that are cooked on same cookware and fryers as non-GF food). Got sick even with warnings, will not be a next time for us.
I felt reasonably safe, and didn’t feel sick afterwards. However, the service was so awful, it was hard to overlook and therefore made me question the safety of my food while eating. I felt like I wasn’t really being listened to when placing my order, and the server did not seem knowledgeable. Open kitchen, for what it’s worth. I had a bison burger, and the meat was over cooked beyond my request, but still good. However, the generic gluten free bun ($$$$) was cold and crumbled. Would have been better off with a lettuce wrap of the meat or no bun. Extremely slow service, even taking into consideration it was a weekend. Server had our table as well as 5+ others, including a party of 11 people right next to us.
I have other food intolerances in addition to gluten so I had to do a bit of a custom order. As a side, I opted for a salad and it still had croutons on it, so I don’t think the staff is all that knowledgeable unless you’re micromanaging every little step. I didn’t eat the salad and had no reaction from the rest of the meal.
This location doesn't get it. Ordered gluten free items off the gluten free menu. Plate showed up with a roll on it! Saw way too much of the sausage making sitting at the bar by the kitchen. There's no way there isn't cross contamination. Cooks never changed their gloves once in an hour. Sent mine back and observed them replating the same food that had touched the roll. The waiter was flabbergasted when I told him that I expected the entire thing to be re done. Still had diarrhea afterwards.
Loved this place with a dedicated gf menu. Bison chili is great, a little spicy but really good. Kale salad was also a win. My husband had a bison burger and loved it. Plus dedicated fryer for gf fries. Either the Chef or owner is celiac and very aware so staff is as well. Highly recommended.
I have celiac & I ordered off their GF menu and I had a beef hamburger without a bun (however they do have GF buns) that came with lettuce, tomatoes, onion, pickles & mustard. I also ordered their side salad with ranch dressing & said no croutons. It was a nice size for a side salad. My meal was absolutely delicious & one of the best burgers & side salads I've ever had! My mom is not GF so off the regular menu she ordered the bison meatloaf, mashed potatoes & gravy and the carrots that had butter & parsley on them and she said her meal was fantastic! The restaurant had a really cool atmosphere & the staff were all wonderful & Jamee our server was great & very helpful! We were very pleased & already talking about going back again next time we are in the area. I felt great afterwards with no issues at all.
**Wanted to add that they said they do have a gluten free fryer for fries. I asked what oil they are cooked in & was told soybean oil.
My family came here after a long flight into Denver. We were so pleasantly surprised. Gluten free buns, dedicated fryer for fries - the food was sooo good! We are dairy free as well and they were very knowledgeable of ingredients so we could eat safely. Highly recommend!
