Great gluten FRIENDLY pancakes. Definitely not a place for those with Celiac but a must go for those who are okay with cross contamination.

I don't know why they are on this site?! They do not have a gluten free menu, or gluten free pancakes. I had scrambled eggs and sausage. Thank God I didn't sick, but I wasn't full either. It wasn't worth my time but my family was fine.

Many Original Pancake House locations offer gluten free pancakes. Please speak to your server about taking the proper precautions to prevent cross contamination, if necessary.
I used to go here all the time; they make gf pancakes on the same surface as regular pancakes, but Im not too sensitive to that. The reason why Im never going back is, on two different occasions they didn't make my pancakes gluten free at all, and I got extremely ill.

They use the same surfaces and utensils for the gluten free pancakes/crepes. They know nothing about cross contamination

We specifically went here while passing through Cincinnati so my son with celiac could get pancakes. They have GF pancakes but don't understand cross contamination. We asked for the manager and she told us all the pancakes were made on the same griddle, even the GF ones. No soliton or real concern offered by her. He settled for eggs and bacon but said the eggs weren't good.
Gluten free Pancakes are not listed on the menu but they have them. They were delicious!

Gluten Free Pancakes are a great treat
They have gluten sensitive pancakes. This is not shown on their website or menu, but the server showed me several types of pancakes that can be made with this batter. They also have omelet & egg selections.

Got sick from the veggie sausages and it was completely awful. Not gluten free friendly.
The gluten-free pancakes were solid and appreciated. They have fresh blueberry syrup also which was terrific.

OK here's my honest review going to the Original Pancake House with Celiac. They have several gluten free options, which is super cool. They can make any pancake gluten free, however, I have no idea what ingredients are in their add ons for pancakes and honestly I'm not sure the wait staff fully knows either. Due to that lack of confidence, I ordered plain GF pancakes. They tasted excellent and I highly recommend. The caveat is how sensitive are you and how willing are you to take a legit chance in potentially getting glutened? They do cook the pancakes on a separate griddle, but they use the same cooking utensil as regular pancakes, so the potential is there for cross contamination. I would avoid the waffles because they are cooked in the same waffle iron. I took a chance on the pancakes and I think I will be safe. I would stay away from ANY sides as they are cooked on the same griddled as the gluten foods. If I get glutened I am confident it is because I did not ask the right questions related to meat prep BEFORE I took a bite of the ham I ordered. So if you decide to roll the dice on this one and hope against hope because you just want to have a "normal" meal out with your family because celiac is HARD, I would recommend sticking with straight up GF plain pancakes. Hope that helps you all! Have a good day!
