Separate GF menu with several GF pancakes as an option. Wait staff said she asked cook to clean cooking surface prior to my order. Staff was receptive to GF request. Bacon is awesome. Visited two days in a row and would return (visiting CHL).

Many Original Pancake House locations offer gluten free pancakes. Please speak to your server about taking the proper precautions to prevent cross contamination, if necessary.
Used to love this place! Have eaten here so many times, but today may have been my last. I went to the Wells Fargo championship after here and that was a huge mistake because I was SO sick and absolutely humiliated in front of so many people. Projectile vomit all over myself. Ruined the day for me and my hubby. BE CAREFUL eating here.
The food was delicious. There were many gf options. They have a dedicated area for cooking pancakes. Our server Lisa was great!!

Great gluten free options including their meats and pancakes
They have a special menu that tells you which pancakes they can make with certified gluten free pancake mix. The pancakes are fluffy and have the same texture as a regular pancake, which is typically hard to find especially at a chain type restaurant. Our waitress was great; super attentive and timely even with being short staffed.

We were a little hesitant to eat here at first because me, my sister, and my mom all have celiac, and they told us they used the same griddle for pancakes as the regular ones. However, we were told they could use a separate pan for our GF pancakes. Me and my sister had chocolate chip pancakes, and my mom had the buttermilk pancakes. They were fantastic and none of us got sick!

Excellent! They have so many options for gluten free pancakes! Not that long of a wait either and they have multiple locations. Would definitely go back again.
So many options! We eat here all the time!!

The food is absolutely delicious. The menu has lots of choices. Some of the best gluten free pancakes I've had.
Terrific breakfast place. The menu has lots of options. They have a very nice laminated GF options menu. I was with a group of 4 and we all enjoyed our lunch. It was nice to be able to have pancakes with everyone else!
I had the strawberry pancakes and they were some of the best GF pancakes I've had! The batter was sweet and the pancakes were fluffy. Truly some of the best I've had!
Yes
They have gluten sensitive pancakes. This is not shown on their website or menu, but the server showed me several types of pancakes that can be made with this batter. They also have omelet & egg selections.

Got sick from the veggie sausages and it was completely awful. Not gluten free friendly.
The gluten-free pancakes were solid and appreciated. They have fresh blueberry syrup also which was terrific.

OK here's my honest review going to the Original Pancake House with Celiac. They have several gluten free options, which is super cool. They can make any pancake gluten free, however, I have no idea what ingredients are in their add ons for pancakes and honestly I'm not sure the wait staff fully knows either. Due to that lack of confidence, I ordered plain GF pancakes. They tasted excellent and I highly recommend. The caveat is how sensitive are you and how willing are you to take a legit chance in potentially getting glutened? They do cook the pancakes on a separate griddle, but they use the same cooking utensil as regular pancakes, so the potential is there for cross contamination. I would avoid the waffles because they are cooked in the same waffle iron. I took a chance on the pancakes and I think I will be safe. I would stay away from ANY sides as they are cooked on the same griddled as the gluten foods. If I get glutened I am confident it is because I did not ask the right questions related to meat prep BEFORE I took a bite of the ham I ordered. So if you decide to roll the dice on this one and hope against hope because you just want to have a "normal" meal out with your family because celiac is HARD, I would recommend sticking with straight up GF plain pancakes. Hope that helps you all! Have a good day!
