Delicious food! Gluten free pancakes on the menu are so yummy! There are also many other menu items that are gf and df such as egg dishes, breakfast meats, and potato sides.
They have good food but I would not suggest ordering the gf pancakes or waffles if you are sensitive to cross-contamination. They do not have separate pans or ways to cook the gluten free items so there is a big risk of CC.
I absolutely love original house of pancakes. It is my favorite place to eat in Champaign. They have the most amazing gluten free pancakes I have ever had. Just make sure to let the server know you have an allergy!

Have “gluten friendly” pancakes that are the fluffiest encountered. They have only one kitchen so cross-contamination risks.
Great food, very nice staff. Fairly knowledgeable about gluten free options except for asking about butter on pancakes. The butter is definitely cross contaminated. Do not eat it.
$0.50 up-charge to replace buttermilk pancakes with gluten free pancakes.

The staff was knowledgeable and nice and even helped me pick out what I wanted. I had the gf waffle and a side of fruit. The waffle was really good and the side of fruit was amazing. Normally when you get a side of fruit at places it’s just crummy, but this one was so goooood. My boyfriend had the burrito and said it was very good just greasy.
Entire menu can be made GF. Spoke to the staff and they gave separate prep and equipment for GF.
Gluten free pancakes were excellent. I am not sure how careful they are about cross contact. I did not get sick, but restaurants like this are generally not super cautious, so I might have just gotten lucky.
My celiac husband has their gluten free pancakes all the time with no issues! Staff is friendly and understanding.
No reservations and there’s always a long wait on weekends, but once you’re placed at a table the service is quick.
I’m dairy+egg free and order the hash brown plate with a side of sausage and all the omelet veggies and it’s delicious.
