Other reviews said they had a separate GF prep space, so I felt safe eating here. Even if eating at the restaurant, the pizza comes out in a box and is marked GF. Pizza was good and I didn't have any problems. Separate GF menu. We were at the underground location near the university, so it had an interesting atmosphere.

Short of it: I have gotten sick from both locations almost every time I have eaten here.

I have celiac disease and I am pretty sensitive I think because I've been gluten free for so long. I have eaten here several times; both at the underground location and delivery from their other location since work buys from them often. I have gotten sick every time except once I think. It is so hard to find celiac-GF pizza so I break sometime and think 'maybe this time I'll be ok' but I'm not. Tasty but definitely not worth it if you get stabbing digestive abdominal pain from cross contamination.

Ordered a gf pizza yesterday and today I feel fine! I felt good about their procedures to prevent cc and.... The pizza was AMAZING. I can tell it's a gf crust, bust it was legit tasty. Also, my leftovers reheated just fine in the toaster oven today for lunch!!

There are breadsticks available that come with marinara and ranch. The pizza is delicious, I really enjoyed the crust and so did my friends who are not gluten free. They serve the gf pizza in a labeled pizza box so you know it’s completely separate from everything as well. Highly recommend!!

This establishment definitely take GF very seriously. I love that they have a separate area to prepare the pizzas and even keep GF toppings separate to avoid cross contamination! Total win!! However, the quality of the pizza is pretty below average. They use very little sauce and the crust is very dry.

At the end of the day, I'm happy to have another option that wont make me seriously ill, but the quality of the food for the price is such that I think I will only go back if it was the only option or if a group of friends wanted to go and I happen to tag along.

My husband ate their regular pizza and said the same thing - very dry, little sauce, and overall pretty mediocre pizza.

But I'm rating 4 starts because of their serious effort to avoid cross contamination and to clearly mark their GF food. It is a safe place to eat but maybe not the most tasty.

We waited an hour and a half for food which wasn't ideal. But, it was good and I didn't get sick so overall that's a win!

The Pie is the only 100% safe pizza to eat if you have Celiac disease. Prep area is away from normal pizza prep area.

Sooo good! I got a big old gf pizza with vegan cheese, and it was the best crust I’ve had in a long time. Super fresh, soft, made in a separate area. Didn’t get sick. Success!

The toppings tasted high quality but I have had better GF crusts. Theirs was a little card-board-ish like Dominos. I did appreciate that they have GF cheesy bread, but it was the same crust material.

Pretty good gf pizza. The ordering method is not completely user friendly; as there is a minimal entrance prior to the ordering window/counter which means if there are many people in line you may end up standing outside in the freezing cold. Had the gf Hawaiian minus the onions. It was not bad.

Loooove this place! I live part time in New York and this is the best gluten free pizza I’ve had, hands down. I love that you can go vegan too!

We had a pizza delivered from this place when we stayed in Salt Lake City. It was amazing gluten free pizza, we had the mini meat and a pull apart. I did get sick this night so not sure if there was a contamination issue... I certainly wasn’t as clear as I could be about my requirements. However, that morning another restaurant had fed me an under cooked egg so could have been from that... the sickness carried on to the next morning which is unusual for a glutening for me and given the previous reviews I’m reluctant to blame this place.

Everything about this place was fantastic! If you weren’t told the crust was gluten free, you wouldn’t believe it. (Until it gets cold. Then it does that dry gluten free thing; you know what I mean.) The staff were very knowledgeable about their safety practices, including their use of a separate work space for gf items and delivering said items in boxes rather than on a pizza pan. I ordered the cheesy breadsticks and chicken bar-b-q pie; both were AMAZING. No reaction other than being full!

Don't let the appearance fool you. This place throws down some great gf pizza. Specifically cooked on special sheets to prevent cross contamination. No gf beer but they have some epic root beer.

In my opinion the only late night "im a normal human again" pizza option, and its good. If you want higher quality pizza theres more expensive places but this is a great option for just wanting to order a pizza with your friends on the fly type of thing. Never been sick. I get the cheesy bread a lot, too.

In the past I've eaten here many times and have been fine. The last three times I've eaten here during the past year I've gotten really sick from it -- worse than it would be if it were merely a small amount of cross contamination. It seems like when they first started doing gluten free it was done right but as time has gone on they've either relaxed their standards or haven't done a good job in training new people. If you have Celiac disease I'd recommend doing what I do now and staying away from The Pie.

I have never been sooo sick from eating out. I have NO CLUE why there are so many ratings stating it's "Celiac Friendly". I got the GF pizza and was immediately bloated and then sick in bed for a day. Also, I am fine with dairy so it wasn't from the cheese.

Excellent place for a pizza. Place is very atmospheric and all pizzas could be done glutenfree. We shared an Xtreme veggie, which had a great crust and was very tasty. We wished that all pizza places were like this one!

The food was amazing! My mom and I shared Pizza and GF Cheesy bread sticks, that was a first for GF breadsticks and we were so excited. The workers were very nice and they put our GF food in a separate box to keep it from the flour in the kitchen.
