True Food Kitchen

This location of True Food Kitchen is located in the Westfield Mall in Century City. It's a good location for a lunch or dinner, as they have clearly marked Gf choices on the menu. Their GF options include appetizers such as potatoes anfld guacamole, and tuna in lettuce wraps. They have a range of GF entrees, such as grilled salmon, seared tuna, and spaghetti squash.

The food is well made and freshly prepared with high quality ingredients. This is pricier than a lot of places, but similar to many options in Century City. Their menu features a GF pasta and desserts, but I didn't try them.

Overall their staff seemed pretty knowledgeable so risk of contamination is less than average.

I specified that I had celiac’s when ordering and menu items are marked as gluten-friendly. I believe this means they can alter the menu items labeled as such to be gluten free. The reason I say this was because I ordered the loaded fingerling potatoes as an appetizer and received a bowl of boiled unseasoned potatoes. I would be more mad if they had charged me full price but they did not so 🤷‍♀ A warning would have been appreciated though.

I got the steak and black rice with asparagus and corn which was all really bland. My friend (who also ordered celiac) got the tuna and rice. Tuna was bland but the rice was good. I know other people have eaten here and really like other options though.

I did not get sick, so they definitely do care when prepping the food. However, I personally will not return as I was just unimpressed by the food and would rather go other places. But would return if I had no other option because hey I didn’t get sick!

Our recent visit to True Food Kitchen was exceptional, especially considering our need for celiac-friendly options for my son. We dined on a bustling Friday evening at 7 with our 3 and 6-year-olds. Although the guacamole platter was unavailable, the staff promptly substituted it with a hummus platter featuring gluten-free pita, which the boys adored.

We ordered the OG refresher, two gluten-free pizzas, the panang curry, and the Thai bowl. For dessert, we were treated to a complimentary birthday scoop of ice cream and cookie, along with the most decadent gluten-free chocolate cake. Holy moly, it was delicious!

The service was outstanding, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. Most importantly, my son had no adverse reactions to the food. The insanely delicious dishes and amazing service ensure that we will absolutely be back!

I’ve gone here 3 times, never gotten symptoms and even tried the gf pizza. The food and drinks are good overall, but the pizza was cold and not cooked to be crispy. Not worth trying

I LOVE THIS PLACE!❤ They have so many gluten free options! They have a special kids menu, excit8ng and delicious drinks, and GF BURGERS! With an actually bun. Every time I go there I feel so lucky that the world is expanding and creating more gluten free options. 10/10 wood recommend
