This place is an absolute GEM - we went twice in two days. I loved the double cheeseburger (vegan burger, GF bun), the buffalo chicken tender appetizer, and the sweet potato hash. I wish I had time to try even more of their menu! I never doubted what was safe and believe this is a safe place for celiac - both servers were knowledgeable, as well as the manager (running food) and host. They could easily answer questions from memory and this place is spotless and a quiet respite from the busy strip. Highly recommend.
Symptomatic celiac* i don’t have true foods in my state so when I travel I always seek it out as the waiters are very knowledgable about celiac and cross contamination and there are so many great options. Love this place! I ordered the teriyaki bowl with chicken . It was delicious
Jovan was our waiter and he was so nice to get all my questions answered! They no longer carry oat milk so that espresso drink was not available. They do have almond milk if you are dairy free! There is an allergen menu online as well. I got the gf chicken tenders. They are made on an air fryer!
Really great options for food! The server was very knowledgeable and if he didn't know an answer to a question, he would ask. The oatmilk is NOT certified gluten free, so we opted to steer clear of any matchas (previously, they used vertified gluten free oatmilk, so sad that they no longer do!). The fried items are gluten free in an air fryer and our server said that those are the only things that go in the air fryer (no risk of cross contact). If you really want the air fried chicken, be sure to get there early enough! They ran out by the time we got there, which was disappointing, but the food (grilled chicken sandwich thai penut noodle bowl) that we ate was pretty good. Did not get sick after!
Lots of clear marked gf food and dessert items. Reasonable prices too. I had the chicken parm with spaghetti squash (see picture). The chicken is air fried and it was a good quantity of chicken but would’ve liked more squash to go with it. The squash pie is good and is similar to pumpkin pie. The warm cookie and ice cream was delicious and my favourite.
SO GOOD and several gluten free and dairy free options. Loved the hummus and gf pita and the air fried gf tenders yum!
Many GF items marked on the menu and when the waiter took my order he marked it as an “allergy” so the kitchen followed their cross-contact protocols. I ordered the chicken tender plate with a side of cheesy mashed potatoes. I was a little disappointed with the chicken—it was good but I had built up “fried chicken” in my mind and the breaded air-fried chicken lacked a crispiness I imagined. 🤷 The mashed potatoes were great though. My colleagues both had bowls that looked delicious and we also shared some of the guacamole and it was so good! Highly recommend. I may be back here again on this trip because there were so many options on the menu and it felt safe.
Make sure to tell the waiter you are celiac! Some things are gluten free but the pizza is cross contaminated. We had the hummus which can come with GF pita. I had the turkey burger with sweet potato hash for dinner. The waiter said he asked the chef to cook it in a clean area. We also had the squash pie and hot cookie for dessert. So so delicious. Do not skip this restaurant!!
I ate at true food kitchen three times during my six day trip to Vegas and felt great after every meal! I have symptomatic celiac disease and I am a vegetarian and there were plenty of options! I told the sever each time that I have celiac disease and they notified it on my order, I was told they have procedures for allergies and will wipe down the area, change gloves and prepare it safely. P.S. get the edamame guacamole, it was so amazing I have not stopped thinking about it
Went to this place before seeing a show. It was our best meal of our visit. Wait staff very knowledgeable and the options were great. The prices were reasonable which is very difficult in Las Vegas. I had the citrus glazed salmon salad and my husband had the Thai noodle bowl with shrimp. Both dishes were excellent.
I specified that I had celiac’s when ordering and menu items are marked as gluten-friendly. I believe this means they can alter the menu items labeled as such to be gluten free. The reason I say this was because I ordered the loaded fingerling potatoes as an appetizer and received a bowl of boiled unseasoned potatoes. I would be more mad if they had charged me full price but they did not so 🤷♀ A warning would have been appreciated though.
I got the steak and black rice with asparagus and corn which was all really bland. My friend (who also ordered celiac) got the tuna and rice. Tuna was bland but the rice was good. I know other people have eaten here and really like other options though.
I did not get sick, so they definitely do care when prepping the food. However, I personally will not return as I was just unimpressed by the food and would rather go other places. But would return if I had no other option because hey I didn’t get sick!
Great find. We had an early dinner. The food was delicious. We had the guacamole appetizer, teriyaki remix bowl, lasagna bolognese and vegan vanilla ice cream. All were excellent. The service was a little on the slower side but it was a nice break from all of the walking.
Great experience! I always have a good experience with TFK and this was no exception. Had the salmon entree and it was fantastic with no issues
I was skeptical but the reviews convinced me to give it a try… So glad I did! We went here two days in a row and I ordered the same delicious (and safe!) dish both times- Korean Noodle Bowl with tofu. It was *so* good and I had absolutely no reaction. I am a very sensitive/reactive celiac, which I did make sure to stress to the servers. Service and ambience were excellent both visits.
Stumbled upon by accident and ended up being a foodie highlight of an otherwise typically difficult-to-eat trip to Las Vegas. Perfect example of how making fresh food with good ingredients means people like us GF’ers can be treated like ‘normal’ diners! Side note, travelling for work on my own and felt welcome and comfortable sitting alone at the bar.
This was my first Texas meal. This place is great! They are very Celiac safe and aware. They have air fried GF chicken. It’s separate from gluten. I also had the butternut squash soup which was delicious and the sweet potato hash. Great place! Lots of options. Did not get sick. Felt safe.
Items on menu marked GF,vegan. Wait staff knowledgeable about celiac and other food allergies. I had the Chinese chicken salad with a Matcha vanilla Horchata. They were both delicious and had no issues afterwards. Highly recommend this restaurant. I have eaten here a few times over the last few years with no problem.
I never trust the words “gluten friendly” but I’ve have good brunch experiences at the one in Illinois. I got the chicken Parmesan after asking about it, they said gluten free when they brought it out. I was sick in the morning. Usually I am about an hour later. I wouldn’t go back for dinner
