I feel so torn righting this review. They were so solicitous and helpful with my daughter's Celiac needs. The manager came out to talk to us, and then we were told he prepared her meal separately. They have 4 fryers, two are GF, practically everything can be made GF using GF hamburger buns, hot dog buns, and bread. My daughter had a grilled cheese sandwich with bacon on GF bread and yukon fries. They even brought her two, since of course GF bread is so much smaller! After all that, though, she was still glutened, started feeling sick in the restaurant, and she's been sick all day today. Maybe it was the bacon?? Anyway, please be aware.

Waiter at the bar was very knowledgeable about the menu. Had a great experience and make sure you let your waiter know you have Celiac.

Very knowledgeable about cross contamination. Fries and tater tots are fried by themselves. Burger bun falls apart, like most gf buns do.

Burgers and fries are great. Bun was very good, but gets a little soggy and falls apart. Would recommend ordering it on the side and putting together yourself

We decided to stop on our way home from North FL since there were excellent reviews for their gluten free offerings. We chose not to take table service and ordered to go instead. As we waited, we noticed that not one person changed gloves or took any speacial care for a gluten free request. (You can see the kitchen from the waiting area). Now I only gave the restaurant 2 stars because of our disappointment with their gluten free handling. The food that we had for those of us without gluten concerns was pretty good. It would have been better hot...we had to go 2 miles down the street to Five Guys where every possible concern for cross contamination was completely alleviated and give my son the safe meal he deserved...Five Guys will be getting Five stars.

YUMMY!! We have eaten there twice my boyfriend has celiacs and has not gotten sick. Dedicated fryer and gf buns/bread.

We were in town visiting from Chicago and absolutely enjoyed every morsel of food at Wahlburgers! Please consider an IL location, we'll be regular customers!

Wahlburgers is always accommodating. There are plenty of gf options, including fries and tots. Their burgers are great and always cooked to your specifications. There are also dairy free and veggie options.

Excellent! The best Gluten free bun I have ever had, the burger was awesome. Have to skip the special sauce. But we can have the tator tots! I forgot how fun they are. The bun is called a smart bun--high protein & low carb yet light & fluffy! A great vehicle for an excellent burger. I had the "our burger." I will be going back. They also had angry orchard & omission. Went on a Monday 6pm & waited around 20 min. Great service & the server was very knowledgeable.

Good place with a GF bun. Did not ask about the fryer because I just really, REALLY needed some tots and didn't want them to tell me I shouldn't have them. No reaction the next day.

While they do have a GF Bun and fries... It's just not good. I also don't usually have cross contamination issues, however I was in pain all night (EOE). We won't be going back. So many better options around. Unfortunate.

The restaurant confirmed a dedicated fryer for the French fries and tater tots. They also have gluten free buns available. I have EOE and did not have a reaction; so excited to have fries!!
