Staff had no idea about what was gluten free and couldn’t answer any of my questions. Ended up leaving because I couldn’t trust it was safe to eat there!

I had tried red robin near by and they messed up my order and weren't very friendly about it. So I tried a couple other places that said no to GF and then going this gem. They were very clear about what was GF and what might have a cross contamination. I was very hangry and they quickly helped me with my options and the burrito bowl was delicious!!!

Went to Chronic Tacos because they have a cross grain symbol on several dishes on their menu, e.g tacos. However, they heat the corn tacos at the same “toaster” as wheat tortillas, fry “gluten free” tacos in same oil as gluten containing items, and touch/handle gluten containing food while preparing “gluten free” food. Huge risk of cross contamination. When I tried to explain and ask about it, they didn’t seem to understand. I decided not to take the risk and didn’t eat there. So unfortunately, the “cross grain” symbol at Chronic Tacos does not mean gluten free.

We absolutely loved the tacos, plates, and salads. All of the meats and mahi-mahi were fresh and juicy, and the toppings were fabulous, as well as all of the sauces. Great staff, too! Very personable, professional, and helpful. The tortilla strips for on top of the salad are not gluten free, fyi, but the corn tortillas are gf! Sitting outside at their tables was a great bonus.

This place is cross contamination city. I asked the guy behind the counter, I’m gluten free, what’s safest for me to have? He says, I have no idea. The corn tortillas go into the same warmer the flour does, same spoons are used in everything and I’m seriously questing the frys if they are not cross contaminated.

Ordered Uber Eats from this place because they had a corn tortilla (GF) option. I recommend getting the take out directly from the store, it was all a little soggy by the time it got delivered. Can’t comment on the food prep/customer service. Food was okay, very simple. Again, probably better if it’s not delivered!

The absolute best tasting “bowl-rito” I’ve had. The ingredients taste so fresh and delicious. The place is nice and clean. Great customer service. Plenty of gluten free and dairy free options. My new go to when I’m drilling on base.

Most taco fillings gluten free. Queso not gluten free. Runs separate gluten free fryer for corn chips. Food is outstanding. Owner answered our questions and was very friendly. Overall awesome!

Excellent food!! It was a bit saltier than I would prefer but I think if I left sauce off it would have been fine. Huge portion so it took me 2 days to eat it all. Great flavors!

They said all items except the battered and fried items and the flour tortillas are GF but the fryer and warmer are shared. The staff was very helpful but something I ate bothered me. I'm only gluten intolerant but I could tell. I would be very cautious if you are celiac.

My wife is celiac. We order takeout from chronic regularly and have had no issues. You do need to indicate there is a gluten allergy when ordering.

The staff is very knowledgeable about their gluten free options. I’m gluten intolerant & enjoyed it.
Although the have gf options this place does not have separate work space and I was glutened really bad. Not celiac friendly
No
As soon as I told them I had Celiac, they changed gloves and prepared my food on different warmers than they do for the flour tacos. Only note is that the employees who speak Spanish primarily don't know what Celiac is, but there is plenty of additional support. Had zero problems! I eat here frequently and never have a problem.
Yes
Went in and their sign says they have gluten-free options however it’s all made in the same kitchen and it also said a high risk of contamination. Do not recommend this place
No
NOT GLUTEN FREE. Despite having lots of things marked gluten free on the menu, nothing but the salad or burrito bowl is even remotely safe. They use the same shared fryer for everything, including flour tortillas and churro bites. The tortilla warmers are shared. The disclaimer on the menu about "potential cross contamination" should be changed to "will be contaminated". I asked for a glove change but then three other people also touched my food. None of them had any idea about celiac and thought I was being a pain.
No
Most everything here is gluten free. The menu is labeled to show you what is and what isn't. One thing to note, the corn tortillas are not safe for fellow Celiac's. They share the tortilla warmer so there is some cross contamination.
The app reports a dedicated preparation area, but when I called, the person answering the phone didn’t even know which items were GF and seemed to have to clue about GF. But he was very polite and tried to be helpful. I have Celiacs so I’m not going to risk it.
The staff was very knowledgeable about their gluten-free offerings. They even have a dedicated gluten free prep space to minimize cross-contamination, all you have to do is indicate that it is an allergy when ordering online or tell them.
They had gluten free options. Even when I told the staff that my daughter had celiac, she refused to change her gloves and proceeded to warm the corn tortilla on the same warmer as the flour tortilla. When it was all said and done, my daughter was so nervous about getting sick, she didn’t eat her dinner. On another note, I’d rate the food a 2 star. Definitely not returning.

It's been hit or miss for us. Some days completely free of gluten symptoms after eating here; some days definitely get glutened eating here.
Terribly slow service for mediocre Mexican food. Go to chipotle instead.
They had their menu well marked with several options GF
Probably closer to 3.5. Staff was it overly knowledgeable. Taste was ok, not great. Had the surf and turf burrito bowl.
Staff not knowledgeable and they have no cross contamination procedures. Not recommended.
No
Menu was clearly marked, but to call chips gluten free and then not have a dedicated fryer is ignorant and misleading. Chips are fried with churros and beer battered options. Staff wasn't knowledgeable. Bowls were good, but we would have enjoyed chips.

For a family with Celiac, we tend to get bored of our local food options and love to explore new restaurants with caution. We found Chronic Tacos and stepped inside to find a gluten free menu and clean environment. The staff was cautious as the prepared our street tacos and potato tacos. It was yummy and we had no reactions to it. We are excited to add another gluten free option to our list.
Yes
All meats were GF, and corn tortillas were available. Tots were GF, along with queso (and they go VERY well together), and menu was clearly marked with other GF items.About as expensive as Moe’s or Chipotle, and tastes better than both (especially Moe’s).
Delicious and so accommodating !
Many items avilable gluten-free

The staff had no clue about celiacs. The cross contamination is extreme here. Food is delicious but those with celiacs I suggest you stay away. The fryers also are not dedicated so even though the fries and taquitos do not have gluten in them, they are fried with the breaded food.
No
Pollo Asada tested gf on my Nima
Those w severe celiac disease be careful. The chips are not gluten free. They do not have a dedicated fryer. However, they did make me a grilled shrimp salad w salsa, avocado and white rice with lemon that was delicious!
The food is good, but not all items listed as gluten free are safe. The items might be gluten free, but they are not all prepared properly. When asked, the manager informed me that gluten free items that need to be fried are fried in the same grease as the items that are not gluten free. This decreases your gluten free options a bit, but what's left is still tasty.
Yes
Chronic tacos has gluten free options listed on the menu....another place to eat for celiacs or gluten sensitive peeps
Gluten Free Corn Tacos. No issues. Great place to eat
Yummy and lists foods as gluten free.
Haven't been yet but saw they have options. Salads, Taquitos and corn tortillas.
Not impressed.
Gluten-free menu available on their website. There are lots of options here.
