Gluten-Free at Hot Head Burritos

Only thing not gluten free were wheat tortillas, queso, and certain sauces. Lady behind the counter said that all else was gf. Got a pork bowl and had no reaction. Food was decent, similar to chipotle but a bit more affordable.

I indicated to change gloves due to allergy on my online order. When I went to pick it up, the wonderful woman behind the counter asked if I had a gluten allergy, i said yes, and she said I thought so! I changed my gloves to make sure you are okay! I didn't have any issues and it was delicious.

The employees here were so helpful. They changed spoons, wiped the counters down, and checked packaging to make sure my order was as safe as possible.

They don't readily change their gloves and touch all kinds of other orders when preparing yours. T While they offer gluten free options, the cross contamination is everywhere.

Staff was not knowledgeable; said the only thing that was gluten free was whatever was listed on their menu. It was a crunchy taco and their sauces and that’s it. Walked out because I didn’t trust them to get it right.

Amazing Amazing Amazing!!! They were very nice and careful with my daughters food. They had the allergy list posted right on the glass. He was super careful l, needed reminded to reglove, but did so and was happy for the reminder. He was so good.

The girl was new who made my food but she didn’t change her gloves. They had a long list of what’s gluten free but I felt kinda gross afterwards.

Staff was very knowledgeable, they had a gluten-free menu worksheet right at the assembly station that the server pulled down and kept beside him while he assembled the taco bowl we ordered so he could reference it item-by-item. Staff cleaned thoroughly and changed gloves before assembling.

When we told them my daughter had a gluten allergy they did NOT change their gloves. But overall the food was ok.

It was easy enough to Google the allergy guide, but the employees had no idea what gluten free even meant.

The food is good and their menus have the little gf symbol by all the safe stuff so you don’t have to ask about ingredient which is nice. Utensils are used across orders so contamination does occur.

They're not really prepared for this. My wife had to give them very strict instructions. At the end, they put my (gluten-filled) cookies on her tray.

They have a gluten free menu right at the beginning of the ordering area which is great. The workers seemed clueless. I asked the girl to change gloves, which she did as she rolled her eyes. Then she passed our bowl off to the next person without me realizing it and the second person had NOT changed her gloves. I explained the problem and the first girl grabbed stuff and remade our order without any words- obviously irritated. It is a shame that a place that offers so many choices does not have better understanding of the gluten free necessity for some people.

Staff was rude when I told them about my allergy and didn't accommodate very well.

Similar to Chipotle, but with more choices. When told we were gluten free, they got a separate tray and clean gloves to make our food. Their sauces and queso are delicious as well!! :)

like Chipotle but not so good. more choices of sauce, but there isn't any sign the food is of any particular quality. a little stingier on the guacomole. still, we liked this better than the Eat and Go across the street that didn't have enough choices for us.

I miss Hot Heads 😢 Please come to Colorado!!! Lol They're very transparent with what's gluten free and what's not. Ask them to change gloves. Never showed a reaction but cross contamination is possible.

All of their ingredients are just straight, unseasoned, and bland, sadly. Nice heat levels, though.

I thought it was very tasty food, and was very pleased with how helpful the staff was. They double checked the chips and taco shells and many other things on the list for me.
