Ask for the gluten free menu. If you order the pizza get the gluten free crust and not the cauliflower crust. The cauliflower has the possibility of being cross contaminated.

The have an extensive allergy list for all menu items. Server was very knowledgeable and explained the precautions the kitchen takes. I am sensitive to cross contact and felt fine after eating here.

The cauliflower crust is gluten free but not cooked in its own pan like the GF crust. I was not informed of this and was served a contaminated pizza.

There were measures taken however the same oven was used so there was a significant degree of cross contamination. I certainly got itchy after so that wasn't fun

We eat here often for years and I have never gotten sick. The gf pizzas are baked in their own aluminum pie sheet and served still in it. The gluten free wings (one flavor only) with ranch are very good too! They always have a gluten free cider available as well. A+!

I went with someone who was craving pizza. The dedicated GF menu was a one page incomplete description of what on the menu could be made gluten-free along with a list of menu items that contain various allergens. It was quite confusing. The server did check with the kitchen that the sauces for the wings were gluten and dairy free.

I ordered a pizza on califlower crust to go under a celiac allergy and I had no issues. I’ve eaten at other brixx locations (Charlotte and Asheville) and I have always been okay. Make you specify it’s an allergy though.

They have the very best spinach artichoke dip I have ever tasted. We just have to ask for gluten-free pita bread. The gluten-free crust pizza is very good, we tried the sausage and spicy honey Pizza, it was amazing! Service is fabulous.

Called ahead to verify gluten free options. They were knowledgeable and helpful, and provided the name of the company that makes the gluten free crust. I verified the ingredients (due to multiple allergies) then we ordered the 3-cheese pizza. The pizza was cooked in its own aluminum pan that goes straight into the box with the pizza. I felt comfortable that they took precautions to ensure no cross contamination.
Unfortunately, the pizza was not very good. The crust was very thin, and there was not a lot of cheese.

They have a gluten free pizza crust, probably Udi’s. It was served on an aluminum foil pizza plate. My food was handled safely and delivered without touching the other pizzas in our order. The service was great! I had no worries about eating there. However, they have it printed on their menu that they do not have a separate prep station and can’t guarantee there won’t be cross contamination. I had no side effects and enjoyed a good pizza.

I ordered the gluten free crust and the spinach artichoke dip with corn chips. The waiter brought the spinach dip and and had pita chips. I asked about it because on the menu it says corn chips. He said no they don’t even have chips. He then came back and said they don’t have gluten free crust anymore. I asked if they have anything on the menu gluten free. He said no. He came back with a bill and charge us for the dip even though we did not even touch it and told him I couldn’t eat it immediately. He then came back and only charged us for our drinks. We paid and left. Not a good experience since we were hungry and had been at the beach all day. The waiter had no clue what he was doing and didn’t even know what was on the menu

I live near this location & have eaten here multiple times over the years. If celiac, be very careful. The Brixx salad is safe but if u add a protein, be aware that the spices used may not be gf safe…recommend u specify to just prepare it clean. Regarding the pizzas, many are offered with the option of a pre-made gf crust or cauliflower crust …both on an aluminum tray. Unfortunately, there’s still a risk of cross contamination in the oven & by the pizza slicer utensil. I have been glutened here several times via the gf pizzas; the risk just is not worth it to me anymore. This is not a celiac safe kitchen. It’s probably fine for gf sensitive but celiacs beware.

Have eaten here successfully every time!! So we have been back many times. The gluten-free pizza is cooked separately in its own pan. I love that my family can still enjoy gluten containing foods and I can enjoy gluten free pizza without feeling left out. Try the draft root beer in a frosty mug, a pleasant surprise!!

So, ever since I have found out I had CD, I have always gone to Mellow Mushroom for my pizzas. Tonight, however, Brixx was closer, and I have seen them on the App and thought I’d give them a try! I’m not quite sure how I feel about it. I called in and gave the spill, asked the questions, and even though at first the staff member was unsure of certain procedures, he was able to assure that all would be prepped, cooked and handled separately. I brought the pizza home and about 4 hours later was finally able to eat. Imagine my surprise when I didn’t see any sauce whatsoever….just the meat, pineapple, and cheese (oh, and cilantro, not sure about that since I did not say that, but yea). I would probably try them again but in the restaurant instead of getting it to go!

I am celiac, I am visiting NC, was close to this restaurant with friends and decided to take out pizza for lunch.
Did not liked gluten-free pizza. It is like a hard "tortilla" with no flavor at all... I think they could do better, there is a lot of delicious recipes for gluten-free dough.
Ate Margherita, and was simple and unflavored. I was so dissapointed. I won't return again.
Good thing: I didn't get sick.

I’ve been here twice now. As far as gluten free pizza goes, they have great options of fun-flavored pizzas to try. Their online gluten free menu shows all options of pizza that can be safely made without any modifications. The wood fire oven is shared, but they use personal tins to bake the Gf pizzas. I get the bbq chicken pizza and enjoy the taste. The crust reminds me of the Schar pizza crust, where it’s soft underneath and crunchy on the crust. Nice to get a GF pizza that won’t break my teeth.
