Absolutely one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at a restaurant. Took forever to get service my salad came out loaded with croutons they were out if gluten free pizza crust so I ordered wings off the gluten free menu and got sick on my way home. Should have known better

I’m celiac and GF crust is great and cooked/served in separate aluminum pan to avoid cross contamination. Never been sick.

Have eaten here successfully every time!! So we have been back many times. The gluten-free pizza is cooked separately in its own pan. I love that my family can still enjoy gluten containing foods and I can enjoy gluten free pizza without feeling left out. Try the draft root beer in a frosty mug, a pleasant surprise!!

Wonderful experience… we ended up going twice! I ordered the mushroom pizza (added Alfredo sauce) on the gf crust. It came out on a little tin tray, which made it safe in the wood fired oven.

So, ever since I have found out I had CD, I have always gone to Mellow Mushroom for my pizzas. Tonight, however, Brixx was closer, and I have seen them on the App and thought I’d give them a try! I’m not quite sure how I feel about it. I called in and gave the spill, asked the questions, and even though at first the staff member was unsure of certain procedures, he was able to assure that all would be prepped, cooked and handled separately. I brought the pizza home and about 4 hours later was finally able to eat. Imagine my surprise when I didn’t see any sauce whatsoever….just the meat, pineapple, and cheese (oh, and cilantro, not sure about that since I did not say that, but yea). I would probably try them again but in the restaurant instead of getting it to go!

We grab pizza to go from here whenever in the area and have never had an issue. I order online and over-document gluten free in every place possible!

Pizza cooked on different tray. Really delicious pizza, thin crispy crust. Great gf pizza and didn’t get sick!

They DO have a gluten free menu, they seemed to be knowledgeable about the cross contamination. I had baked chicken wings and the Mediterranean salad with chicken. Food was perfect, staff was kind caring and awesome

I was shocked when I ate here today to find that they had such an extensive GF menu and that the server was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful! I ate the BBQ chicken pizza on cauliflower crust with vegan cheese and it honestly tasted just like what I remember the regular tasting like. I will be back, regularly!

They do have a separate gluten free menu. They have gluten free crust and also cauliflower crust. Obviously, it is a pizza place and they do use the same oven for all pizzas, but if your sensitivity is not high, you have the option of eating some gluten free pizza. Good experience!

Great experience. Pizza is cooked and served on a aluminum plate to help keep is safe from cross contamination. Very sensitive to gluten and didn't get sick after eating here.

I am celiac, I am visiting NC, was close to this restaurant with friends and decided to take out pizza for lunch.
Did not liked gluten-free pizza. It is like a hard "tortilla" with no flavor at all... I think they could do better, there is a lot of delicious recipes for gluten-free dough.
Ate Margherita, and was simple and unflavored. I was so dissapointed. I won't return again.
Good thing: I didn't get sick.

I’ve been here twice now. As far as gluten free pizza goes, they have great options of fun-flavored pizzas to try. Their online gluten free menu shows all options of pizza that can be safely made without any modifications. The wood fire oven is shared, but they use personal tins to bake the Gf pizzas. I get the bbq chicken pizza and enjoy the taste. The crust reminds me of the Schar pizza crust, where it’s soft underneath and crunchy on the crust. Nice to get a GF pizza that won’t break my teeth.

A wonderful experience. I have celiac's, issues with dairy, and a tomato allergy. I was still able to order and pick from a variety of delicious pizzas. I know they have a separate pizza oven for gf crust, and staff are very careful. Even my aunt, who is much more sensitive than me, had 0 problems!

I haven’t eaten at Brixx in a few years because I got sick every time I ate here. I always mentioned cross contamination awareness. The pizza was great but I ended up sick every time. š¢ So I haven’t been back.
Definitely gluten free pizza options but I’m not confident in their ability to ensure not to cross contaminate because of the reactions I had.

As someone who is not celiac, I like their pizza, but my wife is allergic so she gets the gluten free options. We’ve given them a few chances, but my wife has been cross contaminated every time, so we won’t be going back unfortunately.

Brixx now offers Caulipower crust as a permanent menu option. Sure, you can get Caulipower pizza from the grocery store, but its a good to have this as a reasonably tasty and reliable GF option from a chain pizza joint.

The food was not great and the service was mediocre. Disappointed because everyone else seems to love this place. I doubt I'll be back.
The pizza is sooo good!!! They have so many options for gluten free pizzas. I have celiac and am very sensitive and I had no problems. Make sure you tell them if it’s allergy or preference. For an allergy they will put your pizza on a metal pan to prevent contamination. They told me crust/dough is cauliflower dough. They have a gluten free menu online, and there. Just ask for it and they will give it to you. The service is also great and they are educated on celiac. I would definitely go again!!!
Yes
Had an extensive gluten free menu, as well as other food allergies. Our server, Cassidy, was extremely knowledgeable and attentive, and, also remembered our daughter's good allergies after being told one time. The food was great. My daughter ordered the gluten free margherita pizza and ate it all- I'd say she wrote enjoyed it. Well easy here again.

Not Celiac Friendly!!!!They have special prep and GF crust and GF beer.... I have Celiac and this is the way I found out that I can't have things cooked in the same oven... unless they aquired a dedicated oven... not recommended.... dissapointing because it was SO tasty...
Great pizza! The crust was a good texture, which is difficult to find for gf.
Yes
Zero stars, would not eat there if Celiac. When I spoke to the manager she rather hastily said that they can make any pizza gluten-free but she cannot take steps to avoid cross contamination.
No
Gluten Free crust made at a special facility and baked on a tin pan in their oven to avoid CC. Gluten free menu. Love going here!
Yum! Wings were delicious! Haven’t had wings in like five years. Might become weekly tradition.
Agree with other reviews crust is underdone. Popped it in my own oven on a crisper rack and turned out pretty good.
Not sick a day later!
Yes
The pizza is hit or miss and for the up charge it should always be good. At least they have GF.
Update: I lowered my score from a 4 star to a 3 because the last few times I’ve eaten here I’ve been disappointed. Once my crust was BURNT, another all the toppings were thrown on haphazardly and the cheese was gross, then last time I got it delivered I was sick after. I don’t know if they’ve had staff turnover but it seems like they have gotten careless recently.
I’ve gotten pizza from here several times and have enjoyed my meal. The crust is thin and crispy like you would expect. I wanted to order an Asian pizza and luckily the server let me know the sauce contained gluten so I appreciated that. I am not positive that they have a dedicated space for GF pizzas... They do have really good wings and a flourless chocolate torte that I need to try! You can find them on uber eats!
Excellent gluten free pizza, waitress was very knowledgeable
Yes
They have GF pizza but not very good. Disappointed and will not order again.
Their cauliflower crust is amazing! They have a GF menu and most of their pizzas can be made on a GF or cauliflower crust. Make sure to ask them to cook the cauliflower crust on a pie pan like they do with the GF crust to avoid contamination.
Very knowledgeable and accommodating. Was impressed. Gf crust pretty good. One pizza we tried was a bit slimy but may have been a fluke or the toppings we ordered. But a safe bet’ !
Yes
Awesome pizza and service. Good value and I love to sit outside. Have been back 3 times and will be back more
Good service. Ask for the GF menu before you're seated. The GF crust is cooked In a foil tray so it doesn't touch the oven. The cauliflower crust isn't cooked in a tray so it is not Celiac safe. Not th most amazing pizza ever, but pretty good :)
The location has only been open for 4 months so it doesn’t come up in many searches for places to dine in Nashville. They accommodated our celiac son, plus my daughter and I who are gf and vegetarian - and they welcomed our dog on their patio. (They have 2 patios by the way - front and back of the restaurant.) I read about their gf precautions on the website before we got there. And they confirmed it when we were there. They brought us gf menus which also lists all of the allergens in all of their menu items.
We were able to order different types of gf pizza - the crust is made at a separate facility. My son and husband got the gf wings and said they were very good. They also have spinach and artichoke dip with blue chips as an appetizer and a gf chocolate torte as a dessert. I got the gf Greek pizza and it was delicious!
I felt comfortable with their gf/celiac knowledge. The inside of the restaurant looked really nice but we ate outside since we had our dog with us. The server and the manager were both very nice. And as a bonus they have a really good local cider on tap!!
Yes
Gf pizza. They put it on a foil pan to prevent cross contamination.
This is my kid’s favorite GF pizza restaurant. It is one of the only places that offers both a GF (/DF) crust AND Vegan cheese! We have had cross contamination issues where the kitchen staff have sliced the pizza using the same unwashed cutter that was used for gluten pizzas. We’ve caught this on more than one occasion and the mgr has corrected the situation by remaking the pizza. Recommend getting here before they get busy especially if your order needs extra attention. If you visit on a 2 for Tuesday night or with a BOGO coupon the price becomes very affordable.
Yes
This place was great! Wait staff and management very helpful. They have a separate place they cook the gluten free pizza. I got the chicken Florentine pizza and it was very good. They have a separate gluten free menu which is helpful. The cauliflower pizza crust is not safe however as it is cooked with the regular pizza. Will definitely go back!
Yes
(Celiac) NOPE - this location has gone down hill for me. Last two times I was in there service and staff were terrible and pizza was a soggy, soggy mess. Last time I politely and excitedly suggested to manager that they call their uptown location and ask for suggestions bc they do an amazing job with the GF pizza (some of the best handling/cooking of GF crust I have ever had) Even though I showed him how soggy it was and that cheese was barely melted the manager almost immediately said, “No, this is how we cook it.” Wow just wow. Since not interested in improving and it was awful - I’m out.

Loved eating at Brixx tonight for the first time. The staff were very knowledgeable and friendly about our food allergy.
Yes
I have gone multiple times and not gotten sick. The staff are knowledgeable about what celiac is. They offer a GF menu, and they bake the GF pizzas in an individual pan to help with cross contamination. The cauliflower crust, unfortunately, can not be baked in those pans for some reason, so there is a significantly higher risk of cross contamination. The staff are aware of this and will advise against it.
Yes
I stopped in while traveling through. It has a great view of the kitchen so you can literally watch it being made. My only concern is I didn't see if the cutter was used or fresh. Regardless, I did not get sick. The lower rating is due to the bland flavor/texture.
Great pizza especially on the new cauliflower crust. Salads are amazing. Staff is knowledgeable regarding cross contamination and gluten.
I appreciate Brixx efforts to offer GF and to do so by cooking on a separate tin. However, both times I have eaten Brixx GF pizza the crust is mushy and not fully cooked. I thought it was a one time thing, but couldn’t bring myself to eat it either time. I’m a bit disappointed.
Yes
Staff was great. Pizza was delicious and I didn’t get sick. Best Gluten Free pizza I have had in a while.

Staff is knowledgeable about Celiac and always accommodating to our needs. We eat here occasionally. My son and I have Celiac Disease and we’ve never had a reaction.

Loved their gluten free pizza!!!! Reminded me of Schwans pizza.
