I tested the gluten free burger and bun with a portable gluten tester and it flagged gluten with a strong third line. I triple check they knew it was supposed to be gluten free and they even had it on the receipt. Didn’t eat. Hungry but not sick

Staff was knowledgeable about gluten and cross contamination. Fries have a dedicated fryer. The bison burger was excellent. I only gave them a 4 star because we sat for almost 15 minutes before I asked a waiter to come take our order. But after the burger and fries came I completely forgot about the lack of service we received.

Our waitress was very knowledgeable about cross contamination and what is safe. Had chicken with avocado sandwich on a gf bun with truffle fries. Separate fryer for the fries and they make sure all gf food is safe. The bun was the best I’ve ever had. Did not fall apart. Chicken was huge! Left very full and happy! I highly recommend!!!

They knew and explained all my options. Being Gluten, soy, Dairy free it can be difficult but not for them. Very busy, with a line out the door and they were patient. My family loved the “regular” food, especially the bison chili and onion rings! Gluten free fries are excellent!

I had the mushroom burger with truffle fries. They use rice flour for the fried mushrooms. Bun held up surprisingly well. Just about any burger can be GF - I think the crispy shallots and onion rings were the only toppings to be avoided.

Visited while vacationing in Breckenridge thanks to recommendation from others in this app (thank you!). Staff was very knowledgeable, had GF items clearly marked and were able to answer my questions easily. Food was great and it was so nice to be able to enjoy a meal with my family while on vacation (without getting sick), instead of having to eat the meal(s) I prepared at the rental home. I had the beet salad, GF chicken breast sandwich and sweet potato fries with no issues. Yeah!

They offer a lot of unique and delicious burger options, which they have a gluten free bun for. I asked and they said they use Udi’s buns. They also said they have a separate fryer to avoid cross contamination when making fries, etc. I enjoyed my burger a lot, and felt safe eating there. I don’t have celiac, so I can’t speak to that. That said, they asked questions and the waiter didn’t seem phased by making gluten free things truly gluten free. Also, all the meat is grass-fed local ohio beef, which is great! Prices were pretty good. Ambience was nice.

This place was amazing! Quick service and knowledgeable staff. They made sure to add our gluten allergy to our order. The burger was juicy and the buns were not too dry. The truffle fries were UNBELIEVABLE! I was also able to get gluten free fried mushrooms on my burger which was amazing and totally elevated the meal. Overall, we loved this place and I would 10/10 recommend :)

Came here for my celiac 9 year old. Excellent GF cheeseburger with an Udi’s bun ($2 upcharge) and a dedicated fryer for the fries. I called ahead and the person I spoke with, as well as the server when we sat down, was clear on celiac protocols, cross contamination, etc. Explained how chef would change gloves and clean, etc. My kiddo was thrilled with her meal and the gluten eaters at our table thought everything was delicious, too. Highly recommend.

waitress was very knowledgeable about celiac. no dedicated GF menu but she explained what could be done GF and what to avoid. Also said she put a note about the allergy in for the chef for extra safety. didn’t try the GF bun, but had my burger lettuce wrapped. I also had the sweet potato fries (yay dedicated fryer!) and chicken wings to start. I have loved Flipside before I was diagnosed in Dec 2021 and am very pleased I can still eat out here when I visit Breck :)

This was quite possibly the best burger I’ve ever had. Other than stating that there are GF buns, nothing is specifically marked, but the staff was extremely knowledgeable. I mentioned that I have Celiacs and wanted a burger, and our waitress immediately gave me their whole safety spiel including which burgers to avoid. They have a dedicated fryer (truffle fries!), and almost everything can be made GF. I had the fabulous bison burger.

We had a great experience at this restaurant. Our server, Matt, was very helpful and even got excited to give us the “gluten free speech”. Only a few items cannot be made gluten free. All the fries are in a dedicated fryer, so they’re safe. The meal was delicious. He even gave us a couple more ideas for places to eat in the area while we were there. Overall, a great experience!

Flip Side was fantastic!! My teen son has Celiac. He had a GF burger and fries and my husband and I had burger and chicken sandwich, both on gluten free buns. They were delicious!! Great buns.
