Been a dozen times and have always felt safe with my order. Food is great, and so are the prices! .

They have a GF menu, fantastic GF bread with EVOO dipping oil. They are very aware of food allergies. I go there at least twice a week and a manager almost always brings my food. They are an Italian restaurant that has a bar, pizza (including GF), GF pasta, seafood , beef and more.

I’m not sure why this is rated so high. I ate here with some work colleagues, and there weren’t many options that could be made gluten free. The meal I got was okay, not great, and they didn’t share much about their safety protocols so unsure about those.

We came to Nashville for a workshop. I have never been before. This little gem was walking distance from our hotel. First the staff was knowledgeable about my needs. I felt safe knowing I would not get sick. My pasta was very good. We had gluten free pizza crust for our bread. It was not cauliflower which was a nice change. My peanut butter blondie was very good as well. I would put this on my list to come back to again. Try it. My husband is not GF and he enjoyed his meal as well. I must note I am also vegetarian so the dish I chose had bacon which they were happy to leave off my dish.

Fantastic! Menu items are marked “GS” for gluten sensitive but I told the waitress it was an allergy and not a preference. The manager brought out my food and mentioned he was a gluten intolerant as well. That made me feel a lot of relief when eating somewhere for the first time. The food was amazing! We will definitely go back!

Pretty good experience here! I felt like they understood celiac safety. Pasta is always done in a separate pot of gf boiling water. The gf pita bread was like a 5/10 but nice that the waitress recommended it. I got a Cesar salad with no croutons (8/10) and they let me get the seasonal cacio e pepe with gf spaghetti (6/10). The main issue is that they were super understaffed and I felt bad for our waitress since it took ages for us to get our bill & pay. However I felt safe and the food was good enough! Would go back.

Wonderful selections with knowledge staff. Great to be able to choose smaller portions of pasta with salad for lunch. By far the easiest of our GF meals while visiting Nashville.

Good options! Many pasta dishes were listed as gluten sensitive on the main menu. And the pizza dough can be ordered as bread too. Pizza dough is not bad, not cauliflower either. Very thin and crispy outside but still alittle chewy. Servers were willing to find answers to questions if they didn't know it. Overall I will look for this restaurant again.

I’m in Nashville once a month in midtown. Always make at least one stop at Amerigos. Never a reaction. Many good options. I usually get the fettuccine Imperial and a plate of gluten free bread. Their GF pizza comes in pre-made crusts in self contained foil pan. Keeps the crust from touching the surfaces. They generally are prepared to handle GF requests. It gets busy - so check ahead of your visit. I usually eat at the bar with no waiting.

Wonderful experience! We’ve eaten at this establishment a few times with no worries or sickness. The staff is familiar with celiac disease. The manager came over to our table to check on us because our meal took a little longer than normal to prepare as they take extra precautions in handling and food preparation. Delicious food!! I highly recommend the Pasta Imperial.

Yummy spot! Lots of GF options (pasta, pizza, etc.) Have been a couple times. The Fettuccine Imperial with GF pasta was delicious. Also the gluten free bread (I think they double their pizza dough to make a pita) was a nice touch since that is rarely an option.

$5 for gluten free pita; but it was tasty. Kinda expensive so be prepared. Gluten free pasta was decent. Prechopped 🤣 to be expected with gluten free pasta, just funny. My husband loved his Chilean sea bass.

A go to for our family. Love their gluten free pasta! They have gf pizza as well. Their Caesar salad (no croutons) is so good! They have a small section on the menu of gluten free foods.

The regular menu had gluten free items marked. I had the pasta with grilled chicken, bacon, mushrooms and parmesan cream sauce. It was very favorable and the portion was more than I could eat. The waitress made sure the cook knew I had a gluten allergy. I had no reaction at all to the food. Definitely recommend.

This location advertises Gluten Free on signage outside, menu has gluten free items but my daughter had a severe reaction after eating there. What was supposed to be a fun father/daughter date night with dinner and a hockey game was ruined because she started vomiting just a few minutes after arriving at the game. We spoke to the manager and he admitted she was not given the gluten free sauce. He offered to send us gift cards. Not only will we not dine there again, I’m extremely disappointed in their response. If your employees are not trained properly then you shouldn’t advertise you are a gluten free restaurant.

Would be extremely cautious if your server seems new here. Ask more questions than I did. I ordered GF pasta and was brought regular. Had a few bites before the server came running back to table to stop me. I didn’t double check since it was our server who brought the food to the table. My husband and I were shocked at the new server’s lack of attention to special GF order, given the huge sign on the building touting GF items. I feel that marketing to GF patrons as if a gluten free safe haven and then having untrained employees in allergies is not appropriate and wrong. Additionally, we had to call back after I got sick and ask for a refund from the manager, as our meal, much less the wrong dish, were not comped at that time. I understand human error/mistakes are made, but despite the gift card they sent us, I never felt safe going back. I hope others have better, safer experiences!!

This place was fantastic! I had my own gluten free bread brought to the table. My dinner was made with gluten free pasta, and was delicious and not your average gluten free spaghetti with meat sauce. Had the most delicious dessert! Even my non gf family loved it. Would highly recommend this place to anyone that wants to enjoy eating out again, even with celiac!

I can't say what might have happened but I was SICK with my most violent reaction within an hour of eating. I'm Celiac but not usually super sensitive. We ordered take out b/c of COVID so no double checking to be sure it was GF... Pretty disappointed b/c the pasta carbonara was pretty great!
Several gluten free options that are good. Have taken my son here (celiac) several times and had no issues!
Had the pasta imperial, it was really yummy. They do have gf bread that they offer as an up charge (gf pizza crust, but it's good). Also, tried the dessert gf pb blondie with Rocky road and ice cream on top. It ws ok, not great (too dried out).
The whole family was extremely satisfied, even picky teenagers. Gluten free bread (was gf pizza crust but surprisingly good). Chicken vesuvio was nothing like we had before but our favorite by far. Kids had shrimp scampi and chicken Alfredo., two thumbs up. Probably our best meal visiting Nashville.
The pastas are gluten free, but the marinara sauces aren’t! Which takes the point away from a gluten free pasta. I am also dairy free and it took a while to find something that accommodated both the allergies. Server was great and food was good though, once I found something.

The waitress knew all about gf. And our dinner was great. I would come back.

Waitress was very familiar with gf. Today's special was blackened ahi tuna with spinach mushroom risotto and was amazing. Will go back later for their gf dessert.
Food was good. Be VERY careful if you are extra sensitive because they didn’t seem too concerned about my allergy and even wanted to confirm I didn’t just prefer to be gluten free. Menu is pretty limited but the pasta was good and I had no issues afterwards.
No
Absolutely the best gluten free pizza crust I’ve ever had. I had the pasta pomadoro and an order of bread. It was the same that they use for the pizza crust. Delicious! I may have to come back before I leave town for pizza!
