Lovely place! One of the girls who works there is GF:). I am sensitive and had no problem. She prepared my stuff separately. The bagels were amazing🙏🏻. They spoke wonderful English.

They didn't have any gf bagels for the day so they proposed me different other options but the only one that was safe from contamination was the japanese salad. The staff was really aware and knew the difference between celiac and intolerant. Very cool moment for me and my partner (who isn't celiac).

The tuna bagel was AMAZING, BLT also very good. Very friendly staff who try their best. There is one plain white gluten-free bagel, so next to all the other options it looks a bit sad 😅 Not dedicated gluten-free, so there may be some cross contamination and it’s not perfectly safe, but the food itself is good. 🥯

Great for Gluten free - GF bagel available and most choices can be made gluten free.

When ordering they ask if you are allergic and once you say yes they always advise that they will let the kitchen know to make sure it’s safe. Ate here twice and didn’t get sick either occasion.

Information about gluten is very clear in the menu and the people working here is well aware of cross-contamination. They gave me very useful advice on which plates were 100% safe. On top of that, the bagel was delicious!

I visited for Bagels & Beans for breakfast while visiting Haarlem 2 weeks ago. I had the BLT on gluten-free bagel and it was tasty and nicely presented. My one criticism is that the bagel was a little dry. I know this happens when GF bread products are stored in the freezer for sometime, though, so it didn’t bother me. I could see that it was prepared on a separate surface from my spouse’s glutinous meal, so that was good.

It is just possible to order cold bagels, so to avoid cross contamination. I took the one with smoked salmon and it was amazing (I had doubts it was gluten free since it was so good!). I took also a vegan and gluten free cake. I would raccomand it for an easy meal!

Can’t say I was particularly impressed with the wait and general nonchalant service for a takeaway basic GF bagel with cream cheese, however they did take food safety seriously. The best bagel I have had in a long time. Due to the severity of my sensitivity to cross contamination, I could only have the cold bagels. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable when it came to coeliac disease. I had the pastrami bagel (untoasted) with walnut and honey cream cheese and it was delicious.

Have been eating here for many years now. Have never been sick. Since a year they ask you if you can handle cross-contamination and will be more careful if you say you cannot. If you have questions, they can answer them or will ask someone else of the staff.

The staff was prepared but they clearly are not used to it so you need to ask them to be extra careful. The oat-milk is not gluten free, I discovered it after drinking it so ask for an alternative!

Did I have to go back after they said "they made me a gf bagel" because it was to tasty to be gf? Yes. Spoiler it was in fast gf, and so delicious, definitely keeping this as my favorite gf spot on walking distance.

It did take "longer" because i said i cant do cross contamination, took only like 15 mins.

The bagels were really good! Only one gluten free bagel option but you can choose all the same toppings. If you were about crossed contamination you can’t order a warm one but cold ones are good! Highly recommend it!

I would not eat here again. I love other bagels & beans shops but this one did not feel safe. At first I was told they have no more gluten free bagels, but the salad will be safe. So I ordered the salad and it had regular bagel pieces on it. My wife returned it to the counter to explain I could not eat this, and the chef said can't we just take the bread off. Eventually the manager came to help me with my order. They had more gluten free bagels in the freezer and he also helped me choose a topping that was gluten free. They don't have a separate workspace in this shop so there might be cross contamination

Only cold sandwiches are available gluten-free without cross-contact. There were 2 sandwiches available : pastrami or smoked salmon and only on a plain “bagel” which was good but was basically a bagel-shaped piece of bread. I was still pretty hungry afterwards.

Bagels, smoothies, coffee, tea and dessert main items on menu. No alcohol. Right along the water. Spacious, clean with great views. Had an allergy book to assist with food selection behind the counter. Pics attached. I had a GF bagel and it was delicious. They keep it wrapped while it gets heated in a non moving toaster. Separate creams are kept in a cooler for GF use. So no cross contamination risk. Staff wear gloves for GF preparation. Kid and dog friendly. Nice patio. Husband enjoyed his non GF bagel
