They have gluten free buns and the regular wings are safe. The fries have a coating that is not gluten free, but they say that the tater tots are gluten free. They have a gluten free beer that’s good.

The first time we ordered from here was an amazing experience. The employee I spoke with was super knowledgeable and went as far as to bag the gluten free separately. The second visit, after asking multiple times to make sure to mark as gluten free, they gave me faux wings which were breaded instead of the regular wings. They re-did the order but the employee was clearly not knowledgeable in gluten free. I wish all employees were well versed. Makes me nervous to order from here again.

Very few choices and no designated fryer. Also the place was dirty, our shoes stuck to the floor in the carpeted area. If you’re going to use a highchair take your own disinfectant wipes. … they were not wiped down between users and were gross!!!!

Not safe. I ordered gf boneless wings. Was given fried wings and when I went to explain I ordered gf wings, the host looked at them and asked, they are not gluten free ?

I eat here very often, and have never had an issue. Staff is knowledgeable and will adjust many menu options to be gluten free. Dedicated there is a gf fryer, and gf buns.

This location is no longer Arooga's. It's a place called Greatful Goat Brewery. They didn't have anything on the menu marked gf, but were willing to accommodate which was very nice. Options are very limited bc the majority of the items are pizza, pasta, fried, etc. Also, they don't seem to deal with many gf customers so I was very nervous about the risk of of cross contamination. I order the roasted turkey caprese with no bun. I'm sorry to say but the turkey was dry and bland, the homemade mozzarella was just basic shredded cheese, and the arugula was yellow and wilted. I don't think this is the place for that type of food if you're looking for a beer, burger, and a pizza (and aren't celiac), this is your place. My family's food looked great.

They were very cautious. I had ordered a salad with blue cheese and they could not verify the blue cheese was gluten free so they left if off and explained.

They have a separate GF fryer for you, you just have to ask. Also tots are GF, but the fries are not, so be careful.

Our server was great. I got wings from a dedicated fryer. I ordered a Margarita and he checked with the bartender to be sure it was made gf. Overall we had a great experience at this bar/restaurant.

The staff is well trained and can tell me what is safe. One of the staff has coeliacs and they have been educating the staff. I've eaten here 6+ times and not sick once!

Specified to the waitress I was ordering GF, I ordered GF options from the menu, Potato soup & guiltless wings and I now feel like I’ve been hit buy a truck. I feel terrible, so they cross contaminated my food somehow. Too expensive to feel this bad.

My waitress was GREAT!!! However the food was okay not delicious (I won’t go back) they have a lot of Gluten free items on the menu but when you order it’s not ready Gluten Free or celiac safe. For example “seafood nachos” has artificial crab meat 🙄 which isn’t safe for celiac. The Buffalo chicken nachos were not good at all. The restaurant has potential but the food isn’t good I will share the menu and the nasty buffalo nachos. Off they have a bar and the drink are sweet not strong 🤦🏻♀

Ordered a gf burger. Burger came out on a regular bun, she took it back and brought a new one out within lightning speed. I’m guessing they just switched the bun the burger was on! Because I’m SO SICK!!! Literally writing this review at 5am because I’m in so much pain I can’t sleep.

I called to see what the gluten free options were, the person on the phone sounded confused. I didn’t end up eating there because they didn’t sound confident about what could safely be made gluten free.

I'm not sure how this place had so many good reviews. We asked two different servers and neither were knowledgeable about GF. When asked about the potato chips, he said, "well, potatoes are gluten free.". I would definitely say NOT celiac friendly.

I have eaten at Arooga’s several times since moving to the area recently and have felt fine after each meal. I have celiac and often react to cross contamination so this is a win! I have had the wings, burgers, tater tots, salads, and baked potato soup. All amazing!

I had very high hopes for this establishment after reading the many glowing reviews on how good the food was and how knowledgeable the staff was on gluten free. I unfortunately have to say that this was not the case in my experience. Many of the items were marked gluten free on the menu, including the traditional wings. When I went to order the traditional wings I was told that they were fried in the same fryer as the fries which contain gluten. I then ordered the “guiltless wings” which are just baked pieces of chicken breast with sauce. I was then asked if I wanted a side of tots, I then asked if they were fried in the same fryer as the fries and wings and was rudely told that they were gluten free and why would I be offered them if they weren’t gluten free, so I ordered them as well. When I received my food I was very underwhelmed and when I tried one of the tots they tasted old and like fish, which makes me believe they were sitting out for a long time and were possibly fried in the same fryer as the fish and chips that are offered on the menu, I ended up not eating any of the tots and only ate a couple pieces of my baked chicken chunks which were underwhelming in taste as well. When I got my receipt I was shocked to see that there was no allergy notice or allergy flag placed on my meal.

I eat here regularly. Menu is marked, they always have cider in bottles. Ask for your tater tots or wings to be made in the dedicated gf fryer. They have gf buns for burgers and sandwiches.
Really hit or miss. This place has gf food, but both times I was there the dedicated fryer was down, they didn't have any gf rolls, and the server was not knowledge at all about food sensitivities.
Closed during Covid! Usually this place is fantastic andy go to. Sad they are closed right now, but it's understandable.
We were very pleased with the staff knowledge of celiac and available gf menu items. Gf items clearly marked on the menu. I had no issues with the "guiltless wings" although my personal opinion was they were not the best wings I've had. Next time I will try the regular wings which are listed as gf. Several sauce options as well which was good to see. A gf cider on tap for those looking for something other than soft drinks.

Best place around for wings! Dedicated fryers, knowledgeable staff.

Inconsistent with Gluten Free Safety. We ordered from there the other night. GF Arooga burger and Truffle Parm Tots. There were french fries in the same container as the GF burger and the fries are not GF, there is cross contamination.

Honestly they worry for you so you don’t have to worry at all. It’s great. I can finally eat care free. It’s my go to restaurant.

The restaurant has been approved by Beyond Celiac, and staff has been very knowledgeable every time I’ve gone here. They have great GF wings, buns, and more. Their fries are not GF, but their tater tots are!
Yes
Really awesome gluten free wings and soups! Thanks to Lenny above my review for recommending! Will definitely come again

My first time here, for lunch on feb 3, 2020 (My bday). I had the Guiltless wings with the "kinda hot" sauce. For kinda hot this sauce definitely had a good kick to it. What made this even better is they offer alot of gluten free choices. I definitely recommend this place. I'll see you guys soon!!
Yes
Super awesome sports bar atmosphere with plenty of GF options! Fries are not cooked in a dedicated fryer, but they have tater tots instead. They also offer gluten free wings as well as beer! Tasty buffalo chicken dip!
Yes
Edit: I used to eat here regularly but things have changed and I haven’t been this sick in awhile. The service is still bad and the wait time is long but the food used to be good and safe. Be cautious of new staff that might not know much about gluten free prep
I’ve loved every location I’ve been to until this one! Terrible service! Waitress was uneducated on allergies and only had two tables yet we got two drinks in an hour and 45 minutes! Almost two hours for lunch and only four tables of people. Then I got sick from the food. BEWARE of this place and go anywhere else!

Had lunch here today, and was totally impressed with the knowledgable waitstaff. They don’t have a separate GF menu, but their menu is clearly marked GF, and has many choices. They do have a separate prep station for preparing GF foods. Our waiter Alexander was exceptionally knowledgable about celiac disease. The only thing you have to be aware of is their french fries although being GF are not cooked in a dedicated fryer, so cross contamination is a factor. The manager gets involved in all allergy orders. The food was very good, and I will definitely be going back.
Yes
Alexander made our first visit to this restaurant an enjoyable experience. Assured us that they have a dedicated fryer for their gluten free selections as well as a dedicated preparation area. He was very knowledgeable. The fries are not gluten free so he offered us the homemade chips instead. Would definitely go back!
Yes
Great food. Gluten free bun is one of the best I’ve had. I was told the staff prepares the food separately to not cross contaminate.
Yes
Had the truffle tots and the impossible burger on a gluten free bun! So good!!
Yes
Folkes please , don’t be fools. These resteraunts are NOT gluten free. They cross contaminate no matter what the menus claim. Waitresses should NOT be responsible for lying to you so I don’t blame them when they’re not willing to pass on the BS. BUY AT STORE AND COOK FOR YOURSELF
No
Too expensive for the quality of the food but knowledgable about gluten nonetheless.
