Good selection for celiac
This place happened to be along the way to where we were going, so we decided to check it out, thanks to the recommendation of another FMGF customer. I had the cauliflower crust flatbread with spinach and artichoke topping, and it was delicious! When I mentioned to the waitress that I was gluten-free, she immediately commented about how the fryer is not a gluten-free fryer, which was not an issue for me today, but it was good that she mentioned it. Everything was clearly labeled on the menu that was gluten-free. They did have items with gluten-free pasta, but none of their pasta dishes had your traditional tomato sauce, which is what I look for in a pasta dish. The staff was very friendly and attentive, service was quick, and they even have these outdoor dining igloos, right by the Farmington River, which was sort of cool, although we did not use them today. My omnivore partner said that his patty melt was delicious, although this sweet potato fries were not as crispy as ideal.

Food was delicious and service excellent. They have tons of GF options. In this instance we tried the blackened chicken pasta and it was delicious.

Only a few items gluten-free it’s a fast food chain so food is average, but always reliable

They had a good amount of gluten free options and dedicated fryer for fries. Staff was knowledgeable and I felt comfortable dining there.

Wide variety of items labeled on menu. Can substitute gluten free rolls for burgers and sandwiches. Also has pasta and gf seasonal desserts: apple crisp and flourless chocolate cake! I had the flatbread with gf cauliflower crust. So fluffy! Delicious. Unfortunately they do use a “gluten friendly” label so may have cross contamination risk.

I have been twice to this location and the first time I ordered the gf Mac and cheese and it came out with non gf breadcrumbs on top. Good thing I asked before assuming it was gf! The second time I ordered penne vodka and had a seemingly more concerned waitress who made sure I was taken care of. Pretty decent gluten free menu, I’d just say make sure you’re clear about your orders I wouldn’t say this place is all that concerned with gluten sensitivities compared to other restaurants.

I had the steak Fries and it was really good. They do warn of possible cross contamination with the fries because they are cooked in the same fryer of other things. They do offer GF pasta meals, gf flat bread pizza and gf rolls for their burgers and sandwiches. The food was reasonably priced and very good.

I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich with a side Caesar salad without croutons. Fryer is shared so fries are not safe. My food came out with fries all over my plate. It was obvious my waitress new little about celiac or GF life. I was not impressed here and wouldn’t go here by choice.

First, this was for a phone/takeout order, so I am hoping the servers have more of a clue.
The link in this app to the gf menu just forwards to the normal menu. I had to call to find out what I could eat.
Per the person on the phone they do not have a gf menu, but they have buns and they can make some modifications. She had to go to the kitchen to ask my question because it wasn't noted on the menu. They have shared fryers.
I got the steak salad without the fried onions (bourbon marinade is gf). The Bleu cheese vinaigrette is gf. This salad is really good, I got it once before.
I will probably always just get this unless I have a chance to eat in the restaurant and can ask a billion questions.
I would not eat here if I were celiac.
Update: I was going to add a picture except they forgot my salad and entirety, so I got nothing.

Barely any gluten free options. They do not have a separate fryer. The food is subpar at best. I would not recommend eating here

I ordered the pizza and the staff was unaware that it could not be cooked on the same surface. They happily accommodated this request and I experienced no gluten-related issues. Safe to eat here!

Many Gluten Free choices. The restaurant had a separate fryer for his favorite French fries. We are so thankful to eat at a restaurant with many GF entrees. My son has a Celiac diagnosis and loves to eat.

Stopped while traveling. Great service, very clean. No GF menu, but had GF rolls. They were able to accommodate kids sliders on a GF bun with salad substitutions. Very fresh food! Would recommend and would eat here regularly if I lived nearby.

We called ahead and were provided with a detailed description of their gluten free offerings and precautions. My daughter has celiac and is very gluten sensitive. She had a cocktail, burger and sweet potatoes and is feeling fine today, so no cross contamination. We feel confident about this establishment and would definitely go back.

Always good- the gluten free bun is delicious. Never had an issue. They do have a dedicated gluten free fryer. Only dessert that is gluten free is the brownie- but it has walnuts.

Terrible experience at Rocky Hill location it took 1 hour to be served. This restaurant as well no longer has a dedicated gluten free menu, and has removed some of the gluten free options from the menu. Staff do not seem knowledgeable about what ingredients are in the food which was concerning when trying to order gluten and dairy free. Gluten free bread available but otherwise menu options are very limited. I definitely would avoid this restaurant if celiac. Old reviews of this restaurant are accurate used to be a very gluten friendly restaurant but their new menu is for sure not and the menu does also not label which items are supposed to be gluten free.

Not a very good experience. New menu does not label GF items. Servers not too sure, have to double check. Food was flavorless, not cooked well. Service was slow and not attentive. GF dessert was a nut brownie, nuts tasted old, very chocolatey tho. I wouldn’t recommend this establishment.

No separate fryer
My friend just got diagnosed with celiacs. I have a gluten intolerance. The other two people in our party had no restrictions. They said none of their fries are gluten free but they didn’t know of any sides were gluten free. I got a salad with a side of tator tots because I figured it’d be fine for me because using the same fryer doesn’t normally bother me. My celiac friend got a burger with a gluten free bun. When they brought it to our car, I asked the man to make sure it was gluten free and he said he thinks so cause the other ones are brioche. We go home and the salad is great and all is well. I eat my tator tots and my celiac friend literally was just diagnosed so he didn’t know his limitations and wanted to see if he could eat three tator tots or if he’d have a reaction. He felt sick immediately. About an hour and a half later, I got sick from the tator tots and I never get sick from cross contamination. Idk if it’s cause they have beer battered fries so that made it worse or what but I was having bad stomach cramps, stomach gurgling and not feeling well. Wouldn’t recommend this for celiacs and hesitant for gluten free customers unless you stick to salad.

no GF beer, ones in stocks are not true GF beer
They have several gluten free items on the regular menu, when I asked waitress about them she said we have a separate gluten-free menu and brought it to me.
Have been here many times without getting sick. Food is decent but they always have long waits.
Gluten free roll for my kids burger were really good. I order mine gluten free now too and I’m not gluten free
Got takeout, ordered the cheeseburger pizza and a salad. Specifically said no croutons or bread. The order was even repeated back to me. My husband brought it back to the house and it was loaded with croutons. Pizza was definitely gluten free (could tell by the crust and comparing to my husbands) and very good. The manager did refund us the price of the salad.
the food takes a while to serve
Love them .. they have a whole gluten free menu and are very understanding of food allergies.

This is now our regular stop on our way up to Vermont!

Glutton free hamburger pizza is the best
I was so disappointed to find croutons in the salad I ordered off the gluten free menu!
update: I've ordered from there a bunch more times and most times my order is correct and I haven't gotten sick. i always double check my order though. I'm adding another star.

Every time I eat here for GF I get sick. Great staff and I think they are knowledgeable but I really think there is just cross contamination here!!!
Dedicated GF menu. No GF fryer. GF burger buns are awesome and staff is educated on what is safe to order.
Yes
Absolutely no-go for celiac disease, as the company itself says on their website. ALL items are made in shared spaces, using shared oils, fryers, and utensils. Even salad is contaminated by gloves. A friend who has worked at multiple locations is always shocked that gluten-free people keep going back because the company has always (going back to mid-'00s) gone out of its way to alert celiac patients not to eat there. The most I've ever ordered is soft drinks. Please, do NOT eat at any Wood-n-Tap if you have celiac!
No
THEY HAVE GF CHOCOLATE MOLTEN LAVA CAKE!!!! This is my favorite place to eat in the area! I have to travel from Maine to CT and I always look forward to stopping at Wood-n-Tap :)
Yes
the food was delicious, but I ordered a gluten free bun and received a regular one. as I am sure many of you know, this is a major issue for those with celiac or allergies. when I brought it to my servers attention, she didn't seem all that concerned about it and I didn't eat the burger after I had removed the bunch from the plate and she didn't take anything off our bill. now I'm not looking for a handout and I work in restaurants so I know how it is, that sometimes things happen. But if someone has an allergy YOU ALWAYS alert the kitchen staff. And if YOU scree up and serve someone the wrong food, you at the very least take it off the bill. Be careful eating here, I wouldn't want to see anyone get sick.
They state they are gluten-friendly, not gluten-free, but I did not have a reaction and the food is great!
