I am a symptomatic Celiac, and we had a gift card that needed to be used.
We (3 people, I am the only celiac) ordered burgers/sandwiches.
Celiac (burger, GF Bun, mashed potatoes (no gravy etc)
Second burger , onion rings, poutine
Nashville chicken sandwich , fries and onion rings.
Food quality was good, nothing wrong with it.
I explained I was celiac with a gluten allergy, talked about CC for the kitchen, and confirmed the MP with no gravy were ok.
Food arrives, they put the regular burger with the mashed potatoes , and the GF burger with the poutine/onion rings.
When I kindly explained that I could not just switch the burgers due to my allergy they were good and whisked it away to remake - I was assured that the sides would be new and the burger would be remade as well.
Arrived correctly the second time and despite my worries , I did not react and experienced no glutening symptoms.
Review - you can eat there but be diligent about ordering with clear communication and ensure that the order is correct before consuming. The staff was very good and swiftly had it corrected.
Not sure how often I would eat here (again we were using a GC) but they do have options available.

Went there 2 nights in a row for a work trip and the experience depends on the server. GF options are clearly noted on the menu and one of the server's brother is celiac, so she knew what was GF and what wasn't. They were able to bake wings for GF, she checked which flavors could be GF and which ones were dairy free and she even checked that the alcohol in my drink was GF.

My go to place for a burger, the gluten free buns are really good and the staff is great at making sure nothing is contaminated.

I had their west coast chop salad with chicken and without the toasted chickpeas. I loved it! Delicious dressing, it was fresh and very tasty. I had no problem with cross contamination. My server was very helpful and celiac aware. Highly recommend.

Definitely got a regular bun, even though we sent it back and double checked. They swore up and down it was gluten free. It certainly wasn't! Will not be going back.

There are a few gluten free options on the menu. However, I ended up getting sick even after telling the waitress about my intolerance; so, would not recommend for celiacs.

I had a GF burger here last week, and the bun was so good that I had to get my husband to try it to make sure it was GF. He could tell it was GF, but I really couldn’t because it DIDN’T FALL APART! I didn’t have any symptoms of gluten exposure, so I’ll go back there again for sure.

I love how many gluten free options they have here, but they don’t have a specific fryer or a dedicated gf area and I always seem to get sick after.

Asked for gf burger. Waited 25 minutes, then was told they were out of gf buns. Offered a lettuce wrapped burger. Not a great substitute for a 12 year old with celiac. The rest of the meal was average. Fries are cooked in same fryer as gluten items.

I’ve had their gluten free burgers many times now. Wait staff is always helpful. I was given a normal bun once by accident, so just watch out.

They do not have a dedicated fryer, but the server was clear about that. Not many sides were safe. They have GF buns for the sandwiches.

I occasionally eat here, and it’s decent if you can find something you would like to it. I generally don’t go there unless I am craving their pacific rim noodle bowl.

Great food, knowledgable servers, and lots of choices clearly marked on the menu. Fries do not have their own fryer, but they offer a good gluten free bun. Rice noodle soup is very good too!

Just a quick note: The wait staff mentioned they use a shared fryer now. Good to know after the fact >_<
I ate here and got sick. I ordered a burger and was told they are making it off the line to avoid cross contamination. The manager delivered it and assured me it was GF. My husband said “looks too good to be gluten free” so we asked them again before eating it , they assured me it was gluten free. Half way through the burger I got sick and I got very sick that lasted about a week. I had the exact same meal at another location and never got sick, but I couldn’t remember what the bun looked like. I back tracked all my meals (and I made them all myself except this one)…. found out they served me the wrong bun. They served me their regular bun instead of the gluten free bun.

I definitely recommend checking the menu first before heading over. I ordered the grilled chicken Cesar salad without the croutons, it was good. More questions do need to be asked when seated, and calling ahead is also likely a good idea

My main place to go is now Original Joe’s and they seem to really understand celiac. I always order the California Cobb Salad and sub to the Dijon Vinegarette as it’s gf and the usual blue cheese balsamic is not. It’s so tasty and filling. My order is always clearly labeled that it’s for a “gluten allergy” for take out which I appreciate and the staff are always so friendly.

This was my first dining experience as a celiac. The food was pretty decent, however the GF menu options were depressing and too few. Most of these places only do the bare minimum to get our business and this is one of them. It wouldn't be at all difficult to open up much more of the menu

My server was very aware of cross-contamination and "allergies" If your a celiac you know no-where other than home is 100% safe when you are in control of your environment but this was a great experience. Will definitely come again.

OJ’s was originally one of the safest places for a gluten free meal and the sides were great. Unfortunately the staff at several locations were less than reassuring and the manager too busy to bring meal out separately. I have definitely gotten sick although not full out reaction so.... I would like to give them another go because as stated they were at one time very careful and could handle our large family gatherings. It’s been 2 years so management and staff may have improved

Ate there a few times I'm celiac and I never had any issues
I ordered the salmon sandwich on a GF bun for delivery and it was literally the worst gluten free bun I’ve ever had. It seemed like it was old and past date. It was so stale and hard that I had trouble biting into it. The salmon and the sides were good, and I didn’t have a reaction to the food, but if that’s what they mean by a gf sandwich, I’ll pass.
The staff were very helpful & knowledgeable about GF & there was a GF menu.
I’ve eaten safely here a few times. The burgers are great, salads are fresh. No dedicated fryer or options you can’t find anywhere else, but it’s a great atmosphere for going out with friends or for date night.
Yes
Really really good burgers here, no charge for the AWESOME GF bun! Not entirely positive they use a seperate fryer for fries but we will go back when we have a hankerin' for a burger for sure. Decent amount of other gf options on the menu ad well.
Have eaten their burger at least three times and have never been sick from the food!
Yes
Great burgers and buns don’t charge extra for gluten free buns!

Had the Kona burger with gf bun. Delicious. Does not have dedicated fryer for fries.

Large gluten free menu, staff seems knowledgeable about menu
I ordered to go and called ahead to say I was Celiac and they assured me everything was safe that I ordered. When I went to eat the Brussel sprouts I pulled a breaded shrimp tail out of my mouth. I phoned to tell them and they said oh I guess they are gluten sensitive. They had no idea what the difference was. Now I’m preparing for my reaction to the breaded shrimp tail. They usually have great food just not safe for Celiacs.
No
The service is hit and miss, but more miss. Also, as a recently-diagnosed celiac & vegetarian (not vegan) I could eat absolutely nothing there. Even my old go-to nachos were off limits because they re-deep fry the chips in a non-dedicated fryer. I was so disappointed!
They offer gluten free buns for burgers and they are very good and soft, was worried I was eating a real one! Have eaten here multiple times and never had any issues.
Yes
Good options. Helpful staff.
No dedicated frier. The hamburgers are safe with udis gf buns and are great. I get the brocilinii and quinoa salad. It's great every time
