Absolutely amazing with gluten free!! So many different options available and they even had gluten free bread! I was able to have New England Clam Chowder as an appetizer, which I haven’t been able to have in years. Additionally, the steak was the best steak I ever had. I’m very sensitive and I didn’t get sick either. Highly recommended for a special occasion (very pricey)!

This is one of the best gluten free meals I’ve ever had! I’m celiac and had no reaction (waitress confirmed choices with chef). I shared the shrimp cocktail, oysters, and then sides of creamed corn and mashed potatoes. My entree was the filet mignon which was life changing. The flourless chocolate dessert was also delicious. Worth the $$$ for high quality food and fully gf safety.

My son and I are both gluten free. Son has peanut and tree nut allergies as well. We ordered the filet mignon with mushroom and fig essence. It was fantastic. Side dishes potatoes and asparagus were wonderful. Gluten free bread was also good. They took good care of us.

Capital Grille was delicious although pricey- no issues eating here or asking questions when there in December 2023. They had an extensive menu they could do gluten free - I tried the calamari, potatoes with caviar, a trout, and all of it was delicious. They are aware of any accommodations that could be made with the menu & be aware of contamination.

Order for the bar/takeout often - steak, potatoes, spinach - never been glutened. As with most high-end restaurants, they'll ask the kitchen about items & mark as an allergy if needed!

2/16/24 My second visit here, and it was just as good as the first, the food is pricey but outstanding. This time I had the crab cocktail, beet salad(it was so good) filet mignon Oscar, mashed potatoes and the gluten-free espresso cake.
4/8/23 They have a separate and extensive gluten sensitive menu. Food was excellent! We had the wedge salad, porcini ribeye with aged balsamic, kona crusted strip, mashed potatoes and asparagus. A little disappointed they don’t offer gf rolls or bread but we love it here!

Although they had a Gluten Sensitive menu that I ordered off of, the salad arrived with crostini. After I sent it back, the “new” salad was just the old one with the crumbs of the crostini removed. I sent it back again and they remade it. Despite having a card with all of my allergens on it (of which gluten is only one), and the server promising to double check everything on it with the chef, they didn’t tell me until my entree arrived that I couldn’t have the sauce which was why I’d selected that particular dish. They’re clear about not meeting GF standards and that they’re really gluten sensitive, so I guess it is no surprise that I’m writing this from the bathroom I had to rush to.

My husband who has Celiac completely got gluten poisoned even with an entire GF menu. Untrained staff and chefs, there were mistakes made multiple times along the way. We were given gluten and sent it back and then after finishing our meal realized everything was not gluten free. Horrible experience. Wouldn't recommend.

Wow. Both the food and the bill…. They have a separate gf menu so that made selections much easier for my celiac daughter. The gf menu still covers about 75% or more of the regular menu, so lots of options. She had the Kona crusted steak medium rare and sides of asparagus and mashed potatoes. Steak was perfectly cooked and huge. Meal was delicious. Had the crème brûlée and the flourless chocolate cake for dessert, both were delicious. Service was fantastic. Location was fantastic. Just be aware this is not a place you can be frugal…bahaha. But it can be a once a year place when we visit our daughter at college. I guess if there was one note I would recommend a gf roll/bread service option. The non-gf bread basket was filled with many different varieties of rolls and breads but my daughter could not partake of any of that.

Had to send our appetizer back since it came out non-GF even though we had requested it to be modified to be GF. The waiter was understanding and gave us a new one. The rest of the dinner was excellent. Would ultimately go back but just make sure to clarify everything is GF.

I really wanted to like this restaurant. Service was amazing and it seemed like they were aware on how to avoid cross contamination. I also felt assured based on prior reviews on this app. Unfortunately i was glutened on may 23rd. There were some obvious errors. While making the booking i had let them know about my celiac disease. I also again mentioned it to the wait staff. For safety my family only orders gluten free items. They brought out bread and we had to remind them that this is all gluten free. Not sure what dish made me sick. Quality and service were great but i won't eat here again. Have been dealing with after effects and will take me a while to fully recover.

We ate here to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary and noted the occasion and the fact that I am celiac in our reservation. They were completely prepared for both. Our table was strewn with rose petals, we were given complimentary champagne, AND our server was ready with a gluten free menu before I had a chance to ask. She walked us through everything and had the manager, who has celiac herself, visit our table. The food was fantastic, and the complimentary anniversary dessert plate was modified to be gluten free as well. Fabulous, safe option for a special occasion.

I love Capital Grille! It’s expensive, so it’s one to save for a special occasion, but totally worth the cost in my opinion. I love the vibe there & the staff is knowledgeable and professional. Our server a couple nights ago knew just how to make sure my meal was safe. I had shrimp cocktail, sliced filet mignon with mushrooms & onions, & asparagus as a side. My husband & I shared a flourless espresso chocolate cake with whipped cream & a few berries for dessert. We had enough steak & veggie leftover for another meal!

This is a family favorite for celebrations, so I was glad to see they have a GF menu. It has about half the items on the regular menu, with multiple options for each course. I usually get a salad, steak and side (spinach, asparagus, scalloped potatoes), and creme brulee. The staff are very knowledgeable and careful.

This restaurant is NOT safe. They claim to have a gluten sensitive menu, not gluten free. I ordered steak which the server claimed several times was cooked on a separate grill. I also ordered asparagus and au gratin potatoes, again, the server claiming to be gluten free. Well, something in that array of food was not because I became sick for 3 days after that meal. So those of us where cross contamination is an issue, do not go here.

We had a terrific dinner here! The staff is very well trained, and did not bat an eye when I told them about my celiacs disease. They have a gluten free menu and the wait staff informed me they go through extensive allergy training. Had zero issues with the food, and it was DELICIOUS! I had a prosciutto wrapped mozerella to start, a bone in dry aged Kona crusted steak with shallot butter, potatoes, wild mushrooms and crème brûlée for dessert.
The steak stole the show!

Very accommodating, especially during a hectic Thanksgiving service. Handled rampaging kids like pros, gave detailed info for all allergies at the table, and was safe for me (celiac). The passionfruit mojito was amazing, as was the swordfish (only had to omit the fried crumbles that are usually on top).

I spent four nights in Seattle. We ate at some of the best restaurants in town but this one, this one stole the show! It’s expensive but worth every single penny. The waiter alerted the chef and the manager on duty. I felt like a queen! Do it, spend the money, enjoy this elegant restaurant! I had the salmon, it melted in my mouth like butter…. And don’t miss the crème brûlée for dessert!

This is the largest Capital Grille we have ever been to. I’m wondering if that factored into me getting ill afterwards. I know what I did wrong. The waiter brought me out a small chocolate dessert and said the kitchen guaranteed it gluten free. It might have been flourless, but I think it was not gluten free.
