Has anyone found a safe Chinese food restaurant in the Los Angeles area?
pat5973 Try Green Leaves on Vermont in Los Feliz. They will cook you a gf version of anything with soy sauce by subbing in Bragg’s aminos. If you tell them that you have celiac and ask them to use fresh utensils, pans, surfaces, and to wash their hands and wear fresh gloves, they will. The fare is a bit special for Chinese food in that is has some unique dishes and is all vegan, but it’s delicious and you won’t get sick if you communicate your needs to them. 3 replies
