Wait staff was very knowledgeable about gluten free. There is a separate gluten free menu, which is nearly the full restaurant menu. No gluten goes into any fryer in this restaurant. We had two celiacs in our party. We had fried pickles as an appetizer and both had the 110 chicken caprese. The food was good and portions generous. We both felt fine (no gluten exposure symptoms) after eating here. We definitely felt safe eating here.
I had a good experience ordering through Uber Eats. I also called them to ask them about how to order. They specially told me to make a note on each item. However Uber Eats had a box to check for gluten allergy. I was told on the phone they can make almost any item gf and have a gf menu in person that has descriptions that say things like gf flour. The food was amazing and each box for my food had a sticker where they checked off gluten allergy. I didn’t have any symptoms of being glutened after I ate. (My stomach was upset from traveling so fried food may not have been the best but not glutened symptoms). I’ll likely be ordering from them again while we are here on vacation.
We went for supper at this restaurant tonight. I ordered the kale salad with chicken. I don’t like to complain but I did let the waitress know my chicken smelled bad and was extremely dry. I didn’t eat it. My salad was ok. I would not recommend this restaurant. We went to river house last night and it was amazing all around. Food, service and views. All GF items.
This is a “scratch restaurant.” Made to order to accommodate allergies. Dedicated GF menu. Ate the clam chowder, spinach artichoke dip, Caesar salad and the flourless chocolate cake. All were absolutely delicious and wonderful to find an establishment that still believes in adding anchovies to the Caesar salad even chopped and tossed for me.
I’ve been here plenty of times with my wife who also has Celiac and we haven’t had any issues in terms of being glutened. As for the service, eating in is always great and we don’t really run into any issues. When ordering takeout, we’ve frequently had things missing or something was wrong. Things like not getting a side of fries with my sandwich or I’ll order boneless wings and they’ll give me bone-in ones.
Stumbled across this restaurant while on a ski trip in Massachusetts and it was one of the best meals of my life! Nearly everything on the menu can be made gluten free including fish and chips, calamari, and beignets. The manager brings out all gluten free dishes separately. I felt very safe eating there and all staff were knowledgeable about gluten free.
