Salad menu options for GF, about it. Don't even have a GF crust. Definitely NOT a celiac friendly restaurant.
Terrible California Pizza Kitchen location. No gluten free pizza offered at this location because the kitchen is "too small." There was a tiny note on the menu that I almost didn't notice that stated this, but it was after we had already sat down & we were starving so we stayed anyway. Had to have yet another salad. Slow service too.
Ridiculous no gluten free pizza crust at this location. Salad only option.
No gf pizza
This is dissapointment to say the least. not Ceoliac friendly. All there was Gluten Free was over priced salads.
Zero stars. CPK in the Mirage was horrible. Very rude and unaccommodating even though the website currently shows they are GF. Had an overpriced salad instead that wasn't very good.
Location in The Mirage is NOT gluten free!!!
Nothing but salad, no interest In accommodating, don't hurt yourself by wasting your time
Tried to eat here was told only a couple of salads were gf. Utterly disinterested in accommodating
The service is amazing. They explained how their gluten free pizzas are covered and cooked in a separate space. The margarita pizza was delicious. It was effortless, quick and easy. This was a Las Vegas location near the strip in the "Town Square" shopping center. This is an update 8 days later. I am very sick from the pizza. Take into account that I am a very sensitive Celiac. I forgot how awful it feels to have a major glutening. Now it is 13 days later. I have been on meds for 2 days to help with symptoms. Update: 24 days later and am still recovering. I am on 3 meds that are helping finally. The ingredients are said by GIG to be safe to under 5ppm, my body disagrees.
staff is very knowledgeable about gf. it is always delicious. I always get the bbq chicken pizza and it never disappoints. I also love their frozen pizza that you can buy in stores. obeof my favorite sit down pizza joints. I have never gotten sick here and it is always delicious!!!
We had a wonderful experience here. My daughter and I shared a GF pizza. It wasn't a super busy time of day. Staff was super attentive.
My husband loves this place. He says it's the best GF pizza around. And- they take the gluten issue VERY seriously. We've eaten here probably 100 times now (seriously) and my husband has never gotten sick.
June 2017 -- Just wanted to update since my last review was in 2013. I have been eating here for the last four years and have never had an issue except they sometimes forget to put the bacon on my BBQ Chicken GF pizza LOL. They truly take it very seriously. Enjoy! -- 2013 -- They definitely take the gluten free procedures seriously. The gluten free crust arrives prepackaged, and the pizzas are cooked in a separate oven. The utensils for preparing gluten free meals have blue handles and the rest have black to avoid CC. I have eaten there twice now and no reaction. Thumbs up!
The gluten-free options are clearly indicated on the menu (not a lot), but there are prepared in the same kitchen as the regular meals (so was I told by our waitress). There is also an independent menu for strictly gluten-free pizzas (4 sorts). Our waitress was quite aware of the situation and gave good advice. I had a pizza which was quite tasty (so far one of the best pizza dough I've tried).
Great experience for a celiac diner. Dedicated area for gluten free pizzas and separate ingredients just used for GF pizzas. The staff were very friendly and clearly explained their procedures for preventing cross-contamination to me when I asked. The manager brought my meal out personally. Their GF pizza area and ingredients are certified by the Gluten Intolerance Group, which is also noted on their GF menu. Not a huge selection of GF pizzas or the best GF crust I've ever had but a safe/easy dining experience definitely makes up for that!
I didn't find the pizza good at all, they had a really hard time accommodating me because they only have cheese GF pizza and I had to ask them to add some toppings and they told me they won't guarantee that there is not cross contamination, they also took for ever to cook it, my friend had finished eating when I got my pizza because they were having such a hard time making it, the pizza crust was chewy and grainy. Won't be back.
Good selection on GF Options including several pizza options. This time I had the GF Waldorf Chicken salad full size was huge and delicious! I've had GF pizza in the past which is also a good choice.
They have 4 pizza options that are completely gluten-free along with a few other gluten free menu items. The staff was very happy to adjust the pizza to my liking and satisfaction is guaranteed. They told me if I did not like the one I chose, they would make me one of the other options for free. I have the Mushroom Pepperoni Sausage pizza without mushrooms and it was the best GF pizza I have ever had! 100% recommend them 😍
4/2017 Yummy crust--they offer a couple GF entrees and pizza. They have several certified GF (crust and ingredients--ask for a separate menu) and can do any pizza GF but can't guarantee due to potential cross-contamination. Waiter was knowledgeable and super nice. Not bad for a pizza place.
Absolutely love that they have a dedicated section of their kitchen for the gf pizza. It's nice not having to worrying about getting sick but it's a huge bummer to have to watch your dinning companions eat appetizers and dessert when you can't because they don't offer any gf versions. I don't understand with a certified gf kitchen how you don't have even 1 appetizer or dessert (sorry a kid's sundae does not count for me) for your gf patrons. Hope this changes in the future.
I watched their staff make my pizza and when they prepared to bring it out to me They carried it unboxed passed the regular pizza crust says they were being tossed in the air. in fact boxing of all pizzas gluten-free or not happen in this area being exposed to flour in the air. While they don't claim to be a gluten-free facility this was particularly careless. I've been in there three times and gotten sick all three times they are not Celiac's friendly. I tried pointing this out to the manager but he didn't seem to care and just looked at me and said "that's how we do things". I would say skip California Pizza Kitchen and just go to Wasatch Pizza instead
I didn't get sick, but our waitress could of cared less. I asked for an allergen menu and she said the didn't have one...what? I have had the best pizza ever in DC at CPK-GF, disappointed in the crust at this location. it was chewy and way undercooked. I won't go back
The pizza is amazing! There are 4 pizza options that are certified gluten free. We go often and I have never had any issue. The Margarita pizza is my favorite!
I was skeptical to eat here, but my kids wanted pizza so I thought I'd just check it out. I asked the host, who took a few minutes to even show up in the middle of lunch hour, if they had GF options. He said yes and gave me their GF menu. Only 4 different pizza options, but it sounded good, so we sat down. Server was super slow getting to us, but apologized for the delay. I asked if they used separate utensils for serving the pizza and she said yes, she even washes her hands before bringing it out. Sounds good, so I ordered the margarita pizza. 10-15 minutes later she came out and notified me that they didn't have any more GF crusts. I wouldn't have even sat down had I known that. Super disappointed and hungry. I will not be returning. They did give me a discount though.
The gf pizza is grainy and bland. However, the worst part is that, even though they assured me they take very careful precautions, I have been violently ill for days. My body is rejecting everything since I ate there, even fresh fruit which usually calms my system down. Maybe it's okay for people who are slightly intolerant, but it is clearly not celiac safe. I will not be dining there again.
