Chips are gf but just need to be on the lookout for beer in the chicken.

I was told by my server nothing was gluten free unless you asked for grilled chicken with no seasoning. Their special Chuys season that they put on literally everything has wheat. Beware!

I ate at Chuys for lunch today. I had a great meal. The manager came out and spoke to me and he explained to me that there was cross contamination was a likely possibility. He helped me find the safest option on the menu. I appreciated the help.

I called the restaurant to ask about gluten free options and was told this: There is no dedicated gluten free prep area. The fajita meat, ground beef, chips, cheese dip, and rice are not gluten free. The safest items were roasted chicken enchiladas, as they were on corn tortillas, and several sauces were gluten free.

My family ordered from here, so they all had tacos, sides, and chips, but I could only eat the chicka boom enchiladas. I will say, the food I had was very good! But, in the end, who wants to go to a Mexican restaurant where all you can eat is $12 enchiladas and nothing else? I will go back if I am eating with other people, but these limitations make it it not worthwhile as a go-to restaurant.

When I asked about a gluten-free menu the manager , Brent, came to our table. He was very knowledgeable of gf issues and assured me that the folks in the kitchen are also. There are several delicious gf options. Ask questions and choose carefully.

If you ask to see the manager when placing your order they will give you the MOON! If asked they will bake the chips. The ground beef is gluten free but the steak fajitas are not. Tacos can be made with soft corn tortillas. Cheese dip has gluten in it .. we had a great experience but always deal with the public

Not celiac friendly. Their chips are gluten free but they told me up front they do not have dedicated fryers.

I eat here all the time. I get the veggie enchiladas with the boom boom sauce and I have never had any issues. My Service Dog checks it for gluten and has never alerted to the veggie enchiladas.

The manager actually told me to avoid it because the kitchen is full of flour! Don't risk it!

Not many options here. All meat has beer in it. They can make gf chicken fajitas. Sad because this was a fam fav before being gf.

I was nervous to eat here because I’d seen the reviews that they aren’t gluten friendly, but I was invited to go for a friend’s bday dinner and decided to try it. I called ahead of time and they were able to give me a list of things that were safe: the rice, beans, and any enchilada dish that doesn’t have marinated meat.

When I arrived, I let our waiter know about my allergy and my concerns, and he was extremely helpful and willing to double check with the chefs. I ordered chicken enchiladas and had no reaction. Overall I was pleasantly surprised by the positive experience.

Queso is not gluten free! Every time I have gone and had enchiladas, I have had problems. Way too risky to return to.

Fryers are not celiac safe. The staff was very helpful and the manager came out to speak to me about the fryers. Lots on the menu (chicken dishes) can be made GF no issue. The jalapeño dip is GF and bring your own chips or ask for a side!

I haven't been here in years due to lack of gf/DF items. So glad to have come back! Manager came to table and developed a gf/DF enchiladas plate( no cheese). Not cross contaminated very delicious. Did come at 3 pm during the week. Would come during off peak hours.
