Chips and queso are good to go! I get a grilled chicken trailer park on corn and have had great expirences!
I have had the chips and queso several times, along with the Democrat taco with zero issues. A couple of years ago, I think I may have been glutened, but not any of the recent 5 times I’ve been there!
Hit or miss. Not knowledgeable staff. Cross contamination happens.

Gigantic tacos. In spite of disclaimer, went out of their way to be kind. Delicious.
Unique taco combinations. They do have a gluten free menu, at the register.
just like the great locations in austin. gf menu and most varieties can be subbed with corn tortillas. chips and salsa are gf. eat at this chain a lot and never have issues.
I am GF and DF. They have a GF menu and very knowledgeable staff. I highly recommend this place!!
The food was amazing and manager went out of her way to make sure that my food is gluten-free!! Awesome!!
Being gluten and dairy free reduced the grande burrito to a small handful of food. The counter person did not offer a GF menu. The person on the floor asking how things were simply answered, that's what left when you take items off. I don't prefer to pay $8 for 'dinner' only to have to go home and eat again.
This place made me very sick once out of the five or so times I ate there. I wouldn't suggest it to anyone with Celiac's!!
Gluten sensitive menu at the counter, great food, and GF hard cider if you want an alcoholic drink with your tacos. Always busy!

I always eat their chips, queso, and chicken fajita with no problems!! You can tell them about allergy’s and they mark it!
Delicious tacos! Eaten here several times with other celiacs and no one’s gotten sick. They have a separate “gluten conscious” menu. Order comes with receipt marked “corn tortilla” and “wheat allergy” (I have a wheat allergy on top of celiac and explain it as a “gluten and wheat allergy” to restaurants.)
We usually get the Fresh Avocado (vegetarian), Democrat, and Crossroads tacos.
Ordered brisket and Barbacoa tacos on corn tortillas with no issues.
No dedicated fryer at this location so skipped the chips
We love Torchy’s as their food is still very reasonably priced and my Celiac son has never had an issue with his food or contamination. Staff is well educated on GF.
I got the green chile queso (my favorite!) which was gf and super yummy! I also got the grilled shrimp taco and the fresh guacamole taco. The grilled shrimp taco was delicious! Would recommend! The guac one was just okay. While they don’t explicitly say what’s gf on the menu, when I ordered they told me what could be made gf or not. I had them on corn tortillas and felt fine. The tacos are a really good price!
