I am gluten intolerant and have eaten here many many times and never gotten sick. Get any taco on a corn tortilla. Most tacos are GF just ask. Salad is also amazing. Food is really yum!
I ordered off the gluten conscious menu, they sent out a fried avocado instead of fresh avocado taco. I tested the beef from the beef fajita taco on my Nima and it was gluten free. I tested the corn tortilla from two separate tacos and it came up with “gluten found” both times. I asked mgmt and they said that they make them in house with only mesa, water and salt so I’m not sure what to think. Too soon for a reaction and I took immediate measures to vacate the taco just in case 🤢

Update!!! Good lesson in staying vigilant. Went back a couple of weeks ago and ordered my normal “safe” option. Fortunately the manager took my order, and caught that the recipe had recently changed and it was no longer GF (beer added to the marinade)! Dang! She did share a printed GF menu (attached) - will always ask for going forward.
Good tacos with lots of protein. Plan ahead by looking at their website for GF options and ask order to be flagged as GF. All is made in back, and I don’t know about their kitchen protocols. I get the same thing every time I go and feel safe with that.
Delicious! They have a “gluten conscious” menu online and will note that the order needs to be gluten free if you ask when ordering. I got the chicken fajita and fresh avocado tacos, and both were great if a little spicy (I have a low spice tolerance). The manager stopped by our table while we were eating and brought us free chips and queso when we said it was our first time there. He explained that they have a dedicated fryer for the chips and even brought out a bag of the cheese they use so I could confirm it was gluten free. Overall, it was a great experience!
I went even after reading the previous review. We informed the staff when taking our order that I could not have gluten as it will make me sick. I was I formed that they would mark my food with a note so there was no cross contamination. Before we left, I was starting to have reactions to the food and it’s the only thing I have ate today. Will not be going back.
I had heard good things about Torchy's from GF friends, but the Cashier was not at all informed on GF. She assured me that the kitchen was well informed and could wipe things down, use separate utensils, etc. But they brought me a taco with fried tortilla strips on it, even after we had talked about the fact that their chips are not gluten free like they claim, since there's a shared fryer. I didn't eat it, to be safe. Definitely wouldn't recommend
