There were lots of gluten free options and the staff was very knowledge and helpful.

Delicious Bar B Que here. I ordered the smoked chicken with the White and Red sauce, came with a side of Beans and Potato salad. The two sauces were phenomenal, I will be dreaming of them. Highly recommend this place while in Orange Beach.

We called ahead and they knew exactly what I could have. Since they knew we were coming a woman grabbed a special printed out menu that showed all their GF options. They don’t have all the sides all the time so she highlighted which they had today. All of their meat and sauces are GF. Service was super fast and such high quality.
I ordered ribs and pulled pork. I got 3 sides since I couldn’t have the cornbread. They noted gluten allergy on the ticket.
So good! Highly recommend

So good! There is a gluten free menu behind the register. They walked us through all of the options, including what was dairy free. We had the pulled pork, the squash casserole (not DF), was so good! Baked beans, coleslaw were my side selections. I couldn’t decide which one was the best. Everything was tangy and not over smoked. Neither of us had a reaction. The sweet lady at the front register went over the procedure of changing gloves and not cross contaminating the food with the man making the plates. She also supervised everything and I didn’t have to hover to make sure we were okay. We felt very comfortable eating here and will be back. Second visit to PCB and happy to report, still safe and still fabulous!

A good year-round option for bbq, although there are definitely more tasty bbq places around seasonally. Daily sides rotate and are often not gluten free and/or dairy free. We usually order the family meal to go - pork bbq, cole slaw (vinegar based), potato salad, and baked beans.

I have gotten take out numerous times. I’ve also purchased a smoked Turkey at thanksgiving from them. I have always had good luck. They have a knowledgable staff and they do take care of you. They even substitute one of their GF sides to replace the corn bread. It’s not often that happens.

I ordered the pulled pork platter with red beans and rice and baked beans as my side! All were listed on the website's gluten free menu, and I let the lady taking our order know that I had celiac/gluten allergy and explained precautions needed. She marked a gluten allergy on my order and informed the kitchen! It was all super tasty and no noticeable reactions! Definitely would eat here again
*4 stars for safety because it is not a 100% gluten free establishment

All of their meats were GF and most of their sauces. They had a great selection of sides. Very Knowledgeable about celiac. The chef heard me asking questions and turned around to ask if it was celiac and told me their procedures. The food was amazing and I didn't have any reactions.

Staff was very accommodating, providing a separate GF menu and asking the kitchen any questions I had. Many GF options. Only wish was that they had more fresh veggie options, but that's asking a lot from a BBQ restaurant.

They offer a variety of gluten and dairy free options. Being allergic to soy also, nothing on their menu was safe for me.
Fryers use soybean oil. There is soy in the mayonnaise and BBQ sauce.

They do not have a gluten free menu but the server said the meat and sauces are gluten free. Server was very kind to offer other restaurants in town that were more gluten free. I just did not feel like eating just a plate of meat that day.

We stopped by this restaurant while traveling through town, and we were excited to hear that the menu had a good selection of GF items. The restaurant has a homey feel, and is a wonderful break from some of the more pretentious GF places. You order at the front, then get your drink and sit down with an order number visible. They bring your food to the table. Kirsten (spelling?) helped us decide what to order, and she was so nice - she was very knowledgeable about the menu and what was safe. She was patient with all of our questions as well. We picked pulled pork with a variety of sides (slaw, baked beans, and potato salad). The standard BBQ sauce is GF. The platters usually come with cornbread, and they allowed us to trade that out for an extra side. The baked beans were so delicious! I enjoyed the potato salad - but be careful if you do not like spicy food. It does have a bit of jalapeño in it. The slaw was not our favorite, but I think that is because we are used to Mayo-based slaw. The cost for the whole meal was affordable, including the kids’ meals ($6.50 each, includes a drink). Overall, we had great service and enjoyed the meal. We will definitely return when we are in town again.

Food was alright.. I got the bbq pulled pork, slaw, potato salad and beans/rice. I did not feel sick, but I didn’t enjoy the setup or the food much. It’s a walk up order and you’re served on lunch trays. Pork was good. They do have alcohol including lots of Deep Eddy’s (gluten free vodka). Overall, not bad if you’re hungry and don’t want to get sick.

We found Moe’s during our last vacation and made sure to stop by again this year. They were great and knew exactly which of their menu items were gluten-free, which is most of them! They know to change their gloves before we even have to ask. My son has celiac and has safely eaten there twice now and the food is delicious!!

I went here after hearing the good experiences. I ordered in person so I could look them in the eye when explaining my GF needs for my to go order which was 1 pound of pork- no sides. I ate a small portion on my own Schars ciabitta roll at home, and, you guessed it, am spending most of the next day of my vacay in the bathroom. I'm thinking it must be the meat. So disappointing.

When asked to see the GF menu, cashier said ‘We have nothing GF.’ They DO have gluten free options….cashier was clueless. I have eaten here numerous times, and so far, have done ok with the pulled pork (no bun), side salad (no croutons and my own dressing), and the sweet potato casserole. Haven’t tried/trusted anything else.

I had the pulled pork platter with baked beans and potato salad. It was very good! Husband enjoyed a pork sandwich(bread not gf) with baked beans and slaw. He loved the slaw! It’s marinated, not soaked in mayonnaise. The meat was very tender! I highly recommend this place. We will be back.

Most of the sides are gluten free, and I believe all of the meats are (definitely double check!), and we love their wings. Although we're not super confident in the staff's knowledge on gluten, we've never had a problem with cross-contamination. We ask them to change their gloves before handling our food, and it's been fine every time!

All of the meat is gluten free and I verified when I phone in our order. However, when I checked the to go boxes in the car, there was cornbread in each box. š¤¦š½ā I walked back inside and explained we couldn’t eat any of the meat because the bread was in the same container and the hostess was completely irritated. I made the assumption that they would only give me gluten free food but I suppose I should’ve been even more specific. The food was tasty, not the best bbq I’ve had but I’m from Texas and have high bbq standards! The coleslaw was not my favorite.

At first I was impressed to hear they had a gluten free menu but then I saw it and I was no longer thrilled. The list basically said that all the meats were safe and listed a handful of sides that were safe. It was a little frustrating because you had to us the regular menu to navigate the gluten free menu. Out of curiosity I asked about their fried fish and chicken, (keep in mind the gf menu said all meats are safe) and when the waitress came back she said it was not safe. So I placed my order and everything was going okay when my plate came back with gluten free food with CORN BREAD ON TOP! I’m new to my allergy so I just handed my corn bread to my boyfriend and ate like nothing happened. It turns out that for me even the crumbs on my plate were enough to make me feel sick. I am very unimpressed with Moe’s barbecue for how they handled my allergy. The waitress and kitchen made no note of the allergy and contaminated my food. The lesson here for me would be that this is unacceptable, and I should have sent it back.
The food I was able to get was basically just meat and a side there were not gluten free buns or bread and they were not careful about my allergy.
Waitress and kitchen made no note of allergy and were not careful at all.
