Gluten sensitive menu is available, and the cashier was knowledgeable and very helpful. There is cross contamination risk, but that is noted and was mentioned while I was discussing the menu.

Their gluten free crust was good. I ordered it on ‘Buffet Your Way’, which means you can request a pizza for the buffet. The gal working said they don’t normally let you order a pizza that way, bc they don’t put it on the buffet. I appreciated her allowing me to do that this time, and now I know for next time.
They are very knowledgeable and careful to prevent cross contamination. I have eaten there numerous times with no issues. We usually do carryout and they know me by name.

The Austin, Minnesota Pizza Ranch was well worth the trip. I ordered the Buffalo chicken pizza on their special gluten free crust, which was one of the best gluten free pizza crust I’ve ever had. They were very generous with the cheese! They cook the pizzas in separate pans and put them into a special gluten free box. The soft serve ice cream is also listed as gluten free and was very creamy and delicious.

Gluten free pizza upon request. You notify them you are ordering gluten free. The price is same as a regular buffet. They make you a small/medium size gluten free pizza and allow you to go through the salad bar and get a drink. Service was great.

Had the gluten sensitive crust for the first time yesterday and was certain I would be sick as it was THE best gf crust and pizza I have ever had. It was like a hand tossed pizza with a regular crust! I cannot wait to get it again and the staff was so nice about it.

I suggested coming here to my 10 friends cuz I had a good experience growing up. I since then developed a gluten/ dairy intolerance.
Consequently I called ahead to see what they had. Not only was I misinformed but I was treated very poorly by management and one older lady employee. They made not attempt to offer me options even though they were at fault for misinforming. They told me I could either eat my freshly cooked unopened Culvers alone in my car or I could sit hungerly and watch as my friends eat. Since they told me I couldn’t eat Culvers here, I suggested they give me a free meal because all my friends payed to be here and for the reasons already listed. They said they could do that but that I could only eat from the salad bar which of course is the only thing on their menu I can eat. The manner of the older lady employee and the management was very unpleasant and I was told I should have asked for management when I called. I would have appreciated them taking responsibility for their lack of training that they give their employees instead of saying what I should have done differently. The only redeeming factor to this visit was the sweet employee who I had talked to on the phone. She was very sympathetic and did her best to help me at the restaurant. I cried when I got to my friends because of the way I was treated. Consequently I don’t recommend this establishment for anyone with food intolerance and will very likely discourage others from coming here in the future and I know ALOT of people.

Pizza ranch is petty careful with how they prepare. While they can’t avoid the flour in the air, I do feel like they do a great job avoiding cross-contamination. My 6 y/o son with CD always hammers their GF pizza and fairs well. His only symptom of contamination is fatigue though so someone who is more sensitive may still have problems, I don’t know. This is the only pizza place I actually trust around here though.

Two members of my family with Celiac were told “nothing is safe to eat here” by the woman at the desk. She insisted they pay for two meals even though they would only be drinking. My 8 yr old daughter just wanted to celebrate with her team and felt so sad there was no attempt to help her.

So the guy who helped us at the register I don’t think he fully understood what I was asking about a GF option but he did grab another employee that worked in the kitchen and we got the Texan. Piled high with toppings and I don’t know what brand of crust they used but it was fantastic. Only down side is since I had to order my own I wasn’t supposed to get anything from the buffet so I couldn’t get an ice cream but thankfully my wife was ‘to full’ from the buffet to have her ice cream after she grabbed a second one. đ

The person I ordered from had very little knowledge but I asked him to go tell the kitchen I have celiac and he did. He said they put all the pizzas in the same oven but they’re all on pans so they don’t cross contaminate. He said they have a separate prep area for the GF pizzas. It was really good and I totally agree with the person who said that it tastes like the old Pizza Hut crusts back in the day. I really enjoyed it and didn’t get sick. Kids eat free Tuesdays (under age 12) with paying adult (adult buffet is $15). We don’t usually do buffets but my daughter thought picking whatever she wanted to eat was amazing and my husband said the fried chicken was awesome. The buffet has a lot besides pizza. There is a salad bar but I didn’t risk it due to potential cross contamination. There is a small arcade there.

Was very disappointed and felt like I was being treated poorly just for having a food allergy. We paid for buffet, I had seen mentions in reviews and site of glueten free options, some people saying it was readily available. I asked for the gf pizza like a request of any other pizza. They told me it was $18 ON TOP of the $14 buffet price. I said well I haven't eaten anything on the buffet can I just get the pizza and pay the uncharge, was told I already paid for the buffet and it would be the 18+14, when I touched nothing. I paid $14 for a salad bar and tons of food I couldn't eat. I'm confused when I had not touched anything why I couldn't just pay the upcharge to get something that could accommodate my allergy and why the staff had to be so rude.

Ordered a pepperoni pizza on a Gluten sensitive crust. Ate 2 pieces and remarked that it was so good I wondered if they gave me an original crust by mistake. My husband (not GF) ate a piece and agreed. I had no reaction so it must’ve been a new crust I hadn’t had before. Will order more often knowing this!
The gf pizza is alright. It’s not my personal favorite but it will do when going out to eat with others. They have changed the crust a few times. It used to be much better than it is now but it’s still good. They are careful at this location about cross contamination but of course there is always gonna be a tiny risk. I have never gotten sick at this location though so I think they are good about it. The pizza needs to be ordered at the front then they cook it and bring it to you in a box. This location does take a LONG time to make it though. I suggest if you know you are going there to call ahead and tell them you need it ready by ___day/time. Or if you are headed there call them right away and ask them to get started on making it. The times I have gone there unexpectedly with others and ordered once I got there the other people in my group were done eating 2-3 rounds from the buffet before I got my food. That part is inconvenient when you’re trying to enjoy a meal with others who aren’t gf as they all feel bad that they are pretty much done by the time you finally get your food. Ordering ahead of time just saves you that grief. Overall though because they do well with avoiding the cross contamination I enjoy eating there.

We have ate their 2 times with my son who has celiac. I recommend calling 20 min ahead if you can because it take them 30 min to make a gf pizza. Its nice because they prepare gf pizza separately and cook gf pizza on it's own throw away pizza pan. So far so good for us. Also the ice cream is gf.
Updated. Have been here many times now. We call ahead and order pizza as it takes a while otherwise. Sometimes mu son will ask for them to get sold from th back for him.
Did have a chat with the male owner once about what was gluten free and he said the entire salad bar... so that was a low point. However we have ate here at least 20 times and it seems to be going good. My celiac son still wants to keep coming. Think he's got a tummy ache once from pizza ranch.

They have a gluten sensitive menu but when I went to order the buffet and mentioned needing a gf pizza I was told I had to pay $15 for the buffet plus $17 for a gf pizza. Disappointing.

Update - the customer service and quality is so, so bad that it's no longer worth getting pizza here. My expensive GF pizza didn't have sauce today. A previous time I got a piece of hair on my pizza. It's always cut ridiculously. And if you would like to call you ask someone about it, the phones are NEVER answered. NOT WORTH IT.
I have Celiac's and eat their pizza with no issue. The crust is the most similar to regular pizza that I've been able to find and they actually have a slew of toppings to choose from instead of just one. They have a separate area to prep and bake the pizza on something to keep off a regular pan. According to my husband the regular pizza is good too

They have a very high knowledge about gf. And when you order a gf pizza you can have any toppings or pizza they make. The salad bar is also GF. But many of the items on the other buffet lines are not, or are easily cross contaminated with those that are not. So.. great salad bar. Great pizza options.

They offer a free buffet with the order of a gluten free pizza. I ordered the gf taco and it was very good. The salad bar was phenomenal, it was a spring mix with feta cheese, walnuts and strawberries. Best salad I've ever seen in a buffet! Individual salad dressing packets also available from Ken's.

Do not eat here. We got very sick. We got two pizzas to go and they were in boxes that said “gluten friendly.” They do not even remotely guarantee their products. Our crusts looked very different so was one of them regular crust? We won’t come back to find out.

They have a new gluten free pizza crust. Looks and tastes like gluten crusts. When pizza was brought out, I thought they had made a mistake. I ever ask manager to verify it was gluten free. It was like a raised crust instead of the normal cardboard thin crust. Best Pizza Ranch pizza I have ever had.
