Sub-par experience here. As of Nov 2023, there are only 2 items on the entire menu marked “gluten friendly” (mushroom soup and California salad). I always ask right away when we sit down what options they have for wheat allergy. We were told at first that almost anything could be made gluten free by swapping bread, pasta, etc. but each and every item I asked about ended up being a no-go. No steak sandwich in lettuce, no to the rice noodle dish, no to a range of sauces and dressings. But each time it took at least 5 minutes or more to get an answer, which was later blamed on a manager who was not easily accessible. I should have done more research before we went. We paid for our drinks and left. Poor staff awareness. Clearly catering to food sensitivities just isn’t a priority here. Fair enough, but it would be great if they just came out and stated that. We wasted almost an hour on the whole process.

Had a great burger and GF bun with pan-fried fries. Waiter was very knowledgeable and even brought my plate out separately to not cross contaminate. They could do many things GF. The menu was poorly written, and listed only 2 GF items, which is the reason for 4 and not 5 stars.

Stopped by on my way back from camping. The menu items said “gluten friendly”, but the server clarified it meant gluten free. There is a roasted mushroom soup and California salad that is gf, and some pastas can be made gf. The server also said the Mediterranean Chicken could be made gf, so I had that and the soup. The food was great. The gf desert was OK (a bit starchy imo, but enjoyable). Overall the experience was great and the server seemed knowledgeable. I put 4 hearts for safety, since I consider a completely gf restaurant to be 5 heart safe.

They were attentive and knowledgeable about celiac and gluten. I didn’t get sick. I don’t eat meat so they made me a portobello mushroom burger (without the burger) gave me avocados and Brie cheese it was delicious. The veggy burger had gluten so this was the substitute. I highly recommend.
There are about 4 items you can order but they can substitute the pasta for gluten-free pasta

Horrible experience. I told the server upfront I had a gluten allergy.
I asked about options and there were not many.
I ended up with a steak and mashed potatoes
They were ice cold.
Sent back, and they brought it back a minute later, still ice cold.
We left.
Definitely don't recommend.

I’ve eaten here at this location now 3 times with no issues. The servers have been really careful and reassured that all pasta is made in separate pots and there is no chance of cross contamination

Good GF option. I asked to make an item GF that wasn’t indicated on the menu. It wasn’t a problem. Delicious

Very little choice for either gluten free or dairy free and what my husband did end of having was not appetizing he said. Staff really did try to accommodate this need however but the restaurant is out of touch

The waitress did not have a clue what was available as gf on the menu. When I asked her to try to find out, she was quite annoyed and rolled her eyes. She offered me a salad. I was pretty disappointed with the whole experience

Saw on the app that there were GF options available. Initially menu seemed limited, but based on comments on this app I talked to server and introduced myself as celiac and was told a few main courses could be made GF and cooked separately for me. Staff was understanding and made sure to include a special note on all of my orders and checked up on things during the meal. Also had GF dessert, very yummy overall!

Don’t be put off by the small amount of GF on the menu. Our waiter was fabulous. He knew exactly what was GF and what wasn’t. Specifically asked if we were dealing with a coeliac or not. Tailored the menu perfectly for our 7 yo, who had a delicious GF burger and mashed potatoes.

Manager was knowledgeable about what Gluten was but the server we had didn’t. Ended up serving a drink with Gluten in it (even after I asked to remove the gluten item) and Manager caught it just after I took a sip. Most defiantly a ‘eat at your own risk’ restaurant.

Enjoyed brunch here and was lucky enough to have a server who was very knowledgable due to having family members with Celiac Disease. She told me that almost everything could be safely prepared with modifications except the french toast. I ordered the Traditional Breakfast (scrambled eggs, bacon, GF english muffin instead of toast, and fruit salad instead of the "brunch potatoes") The brunch potatoes are usually deep fried, but they can roast them safely instead. It was brought out by the manager and identified as an "allergen meal." Everything was delicious and I felt great afterwards.

The service and food were excellent. Our server was very knowledgable about cross-contamination and kitchen procedures. He knew right away what options were safe. I ordered the Classic Eggs Benedict with a gluten-free english muffin. I was assured that the english muffin would be toasted safely. The hollandaise they use is also gluten-free. I was told that the "brunch potatoes" that are usually deep fried could be pan fried, but I chose a fruit salad instead for my side. My meal was not flagged or marked, but the manager carried out it separately from the other meals ordered at my table and presented it as the "Celiac-safe meal." Felt totally comfortable eating here!

Food at milestones is not gluten free as mentioned on app. No gf menu exists. The burger buns vontain dairy just incase anyone is celiac. My gf was offered a lettice burger. However our waitress was extreamly accommodating to us and tried her best.

Awesome experience at Milestones today! Some gluten-free items were marked on the menu. Server was friendly and asked the kitchen questions about cross-contact. The kitchen offered me pan-fried potatoes instead of deep-fried (to avoid cross contact). I had the avocado toast on a gluten-free English muffin (with the potatoes) from the brunch menu. Make sure you ask questions and let them know you’re celiac (or allergy), but overall I recommend!

It feels like Milestone's is not what it used to be. I've been to several different locations around the country over the years and it was always a good bet because they had so many gluten free options listed on their menu. My latest meal there was somewhat disappointing. Their menu is smaller than before so there were only about 5 things listed as gluten free. I ended up getting a burger with gf bun and side salad but I had been hoping for pasta. Also, the service at this location was very slow and the meals felt overpriced. I probably won't go back to a Milestone's for a while. On the plus side, I am celiac and didn't have any reaction to eating there.

Went in jul 24 2021 and had a horrible experience. They said they were too busy to make accommodations for the sides. Caesar salad has Worcester sauce “but it’s only a tsp so it won’t hurt”. My son is a celiac and I was so disappointed in the delivery of the options and not comfortable with their attitude that we cancelled our full orders and left.
They have some gluten free options such as burgers, pastas steaks etc. My son is 12 and we find it hard to eat out with being celiac. But milestones goes above and beyond. They bake the fries instead of frying them (you would never know) and he loves their burgers and grilled chicken. They take things very seriously and I have always felt confident there. We have visited five times and no issues.

The menu is a bit confusing in terms of what is gluten "friendly" or not. Brunch items are not labelled gluten free/friendly, but they say GF English muffins are available so it's hard to know. I had a burger with a GF bun and while the staff was good about answering my questions I think some cross contamination definitely happened as I ended up feeling sick afterwards, but the meal was delicious so it's an "eat at your own risk" kind of place.

Absolutely love their torte! One of the best gluten free desserts
The server was excellent! So patient with me and made sure I felt safe and enjoyed my meal. Have dedicated prep space and the chef is informed of all allergies. Only 4 stars because there is no gluten free fryer, but they gave me wonderful roasted potatoes instead. Also there are some limitations on the menu. Overall an excellent experience!

This chain doesn’t have a lot to offer celiacs. They don’t have a dedicated fryer. Staff are not helpful and lack knowledge about their menu for any posssible substitutions. Save your money and your digestive system and don’t bother.
No
Went there about a year ago... maybe 2 items on their menu. Even their chicken breast comes to the restaurant premarinated in soy sauce so all chicken is out. Maybe they have improved but I haven't been back. Feel for such a large chain, there is very little accomodation for celiacs.
Had the 1989 burger with the California spring salad. It was delicious! The burger bun was so soft. Id go back. Not many options but the burger was good.
Staff aware of gf and cooks make effort to accommodate by adapting the menu. Real tasty.
We were a larger party but the waitress was knowledgeable and was more than happy to check with the kitchen staff for me, even on my drink options. She Offered great options and made sure what I received was safe. Food was ok, nothing to write home about but it was a very good and reassuring experience
Yes
States Gluten friendly on their website but when we got there the Gluten Free options (Bread or pasta replacements) we were told they had none so only option was a raspberry dressing salad. Unfortunately, on eating the salad I discovered that this was not Gluten free. I put in a complaint and they offered to give me a discount on my next meal with them- which of course i will never use as will never set foot in there again

I had the Mediterranean chicken. It was tasty. The staff were diligent to ensure I had a safe meal. There are few options on the menu. They could do a lot better in this regard.

Pro: We have been a number of times and they knowledgeable and helpful. To be fair we try to avoid busy times and explain that the gluten free is for celiac disease. We have eaten there without any issues. Always been a good experience. Con: Not many options. Wish they would offer a gluten free Caesar dressing.
Yes
Had a great chicken meal there last night for dinner and didn’t get sick. They asked if I was celiac and guided me to the chicken. They also have some salad options and gluten free buns. There are not many options but they food was cooked well , tasted good and didn’t leave me hungry. Plenty of options for others in the group that are not celiac. It is a premium casual dinner option that I would return to.
Yes
Love milestones but was disappointed to find no dedicated fryer, flour in soups many of the apps and even the Ceaser salad dressing which I thought was odd. They do have gf buns and pasta noodles. Waitress was also very well versed in what was gf and what was not.
Had mediterian chicken. The chicken tasted really good, the rest was so so (chickpeas were not very cooked).
Staff was friendly. I didn't get sick, so it was a decent experience overall.
Not very many options though.
Staff was excellent. Menu has very limited choices labelled gluten friendly but I chose a gf labelled salad with chicken and an hour later (I’m fairly reactive immediately and sensitive) am still feeling great. They offer to alter some other menu choices but I’m a shellfish allergy too so I stick with the easiest safest option. I should mention I ordered my salad without the pecans as nuts are considered high risk by the CCA.

I've eaten here many times and never been sick.

This location is now closed (Oct 22, 2017).
Absolutely fabulous place we ended up at for dinner & our waiter was fantastic! We happened upon them S the Find Me GF app. They were so meticulous but also fun loving w having children in the later hours due to travel. Fantastic food, I had The Mediterranean Chicken, & it was nice to get a nice portion!
Lack of variety selection.

The only item marked "gluten friendly" on the late night menu is a salad and the web link to their gf menu is broken. The Bellinis are fantastic, though.

Most delicious burger and the beat buns I have ever eaten. The server was very contentious and even found the name of the bun for me. Unfortunately Rich's only sells to restaurants. Would definitely go back only wish they had a designated fryer so we could enjoy their naturally gluten free fries 😏
Only 1 item on the menu was gluten free. Waitress said, "we can make some other things gluten free but they won't be as good."
