Some salads and baked potatoes can be prepared gluten free. Have never gotten sick here. Just remind them of your Celiac/allergy.

I’ve never got sick from eating at McAllister. I love the Spud Max and the Savannah Chopped Salad. The gluten-free bread is good.

Don’t. Just don’t. Lady taking order acted like she knew everything. Was unwilling to accommodate prep. It may have just been her but I wouldn’t go there. We left and did not eat there.

Had great gluten free bread! I think it was Udis brand. Staff was very nice and the sandwich was very good.

I had the most delicious gluten free sandwich that I think I’ve ever had. The staff seemed knowledgeable and they confirmed with me that it was an allergy not a preference. I cannot promise that it is 100% dedicated gluten free but simply offering gluten free bread is enough for me!!

Had an excellent sandwich here. They said they can put any of their sandwiches on a toasted GF bread. Very good!!

Awesome food, no gluten reactions, gluten free options listed on menu and an allergen menu online too. The gluten free bread they use is great. It’s the closest I’ve had to a “normal” bread texture.

Staff was very knowledgeable and alerted the kitchen we were celiac. They have a Gluten friendly menu at each register to help with decisions.

I was in the mood for a salad, and it was good. I didn’t see the GF bread listed as an option, but I’ll probably try it next time.

It's nice to have a gluten free sandwich instead of eating a salad all the time!

Delicious! Any sandwich can be made on their very tasty gluten free bread. Several side options including fruit, veggies, potato salad or chips. Will definitely be back!

I’ve eaten at this location 2x in the past 6 months. First time was suspicious but wasn’t certain of correlation. Tonight unmistakably was glutened by a GF Turkey bacon sandwich and potato salad. Was very clear about allergy but I guess they just can’t keep it from cross-contamination. Disappointing. *great service, though*

They offer a gluten free bread substitute. My sister and I both have celiac, and we are pretty sensitive and we have never had problems eating here. They do good with keeping food safe for you

This location has no gluten free options. None of the staff or management were aware that other locations carry gluten free bread. The manager made it seem like we were inconveniencing him, even just asking about it. I Would give zero stars if possible. Thankfully Jason’s Deli and Block Gourmet are not too far away.

I don’t trust this place. The staff has no idea about anything and just looking in to the kitchen I have a feeling there’s a lot of cross-contamination . I went ahead and ordered from their gf listings on their website. We shall see.

Not celiac friendly! Tried a couple of times, a year apart. They have no desire to serve celiacs.

A gentleman here led me to believe they were accommodating to us as my girl is celiac and come to find out later they do not use different toasters or separate prep area. I was not pleased at all. Not celiac friendly like this website states.

Not gf folks 👎😩. Everything on their website did not meet what the menu or staff said in the restaurant. The only choices were gluten sensitive. Not gf

When the person at the register wasn't sure of the gluten content of an item, she called the manager. I had many choices and the staff was willing to offer adaptations to make a menu item gluten free. Really good tasting food and I didn't get sick. This means a lot to me as I have celiac diseaseand it is hard to find good gluten free restaurants.

I have eaten at this restaurant several times, had gf bread available every time. Although staff doesn’t seem to be very knowledgeable about celiac disease, I’ve never had an issue with contamination or getting sick. Food has always been good.

Every time I get a "GF sandwich", I get sick. The salads don't bother me. But I've been twice to get a sandwich and sick both times. No more McAlister's for me!

We eat here often, it’s one of the only local places that we feel relatively safe. They now have a gluten sensitive menu at the counter that includes nachos, potatoes, veggie chili, and sandwiches on gluten free bread to name a few. Don’t get your sandwich toasted as the press is used for the regular sandwiches too, and if you order the Ultimate Nachos, be sure to have them use the veggie chili because the regular chili is not gluten free. Lots of selections have dairy, beans, or spice, so if you have issues with any of those you’ll be more limited in choices.

I absolutely love eating here! They have gluten free bread and my favorite sandwich to get is the smoky pepperjack turkey! I left off one star because they switched from Lays chips to their own brand and after eating their brand of bbq chips, which according to the website are gluten free, I did get sick the next day. But other than that one time I've never gotten sick after eating here, so maybe just avoid the chips and get the fresh fruit instead!

We order takeout from here all the time and have no problems with getting sick. Just have to call and let the kitchen know there is a gluten allergy. Took one star away because the actual food quality is hit or miss... sometimes the potatoes are old or they forget part of your order. But it is convenient and lots of choices.

If you tell them when you order you are celiac and ask them to change their gloves they are very accommodating. Our go to is a baked potato with fruit. They do. Ow offer GF bread but we haven’t tried it yet.

It doesn’t mention the gluten free bread for sandwiches( maybe because it’s not available at all locations), but you can see which sandwich meats don’t contain gluten on their website.

Great gluten free menu. They also have an alley book you can cross check for eggs, milk, soy, gluten/wheat, fish, shellfish, peanuts, and tree nuts. They were so patient and accommodating! They even pulled a dressing from the kitchen so I could look at the ingredient list. (I am following the Autoimmune Paleo.)
