Just ate here this past weekend and no signs of sickness! While they didn’t have any allergy protocol, I was assured the wings and fries would be fine for me. It was so delicious. I would just ask the person behind the counter to ask the cooks to be careful not to put your dish anywhere near the bread/etc

Chicken is moist and delicious, usually do platter style (chicken + side/s). Rice is fine, but coleslaw is the best! No reaction to date and have mobile ordered for pick up

They were so nice and helpful! They don’t have items listed on their menu however they were more than happy to pull out all of the allergies lists and go through my options with me! The person who helped me told me they only use the fryer for fries! The person who helped me also informed the kitchen of my allergy on top of putting it on the ticket! So sweet!

An international chain with a great reputation and tasty food. HOWEVER if you’re celiac I wouldn’t recommend this location. The staff seemed ambivalent to my GF questions and I only have a gluten allergy lol

Food and drinks are so Awesome.
Yes
Staff was very knowledgeable about gluten allergies. All of the chicken is safe to eat, as well as the fries and sauces. They have a nutritional menu you can review as well. Manager confirmed allergies and labeled the boxes specifically for allergies.
Yes
Food was really good and I did not feel I'll afterwards. Almost everything is gluten free
I'm surprised to read the previous post saying there is flour in the PeriPeri salt. We always get the fries and my Celiac's son has never had an issue.
Yes
There was a staff member training a new staff member to type in the allergy on the order and to tell the kitchen staff also. They have an allergy menu, and there are so many delicious options.
Yes
The staff is very helpful in explaining gluten free options, they have an allergy guide...but its not clear whether vinegar used in most of their peri-peri sauce is wheat based or not... I do not get any evident symptoms after eating gluten but after eating at this place I did feel I had a small rash so probably the vinegar in sauce had something.
Great experience. Host checked the allergen list to confirm that the food I was ordering was GF. Delicious chicken and many GF sides, sauces, and Dole Whip!!
Yes
We stopped in here after reading the reviews, feeling optimistic. I spoke to several of the servers and none knew anything about what was gluten free or safe for me to eat. The manager came out and also wasn’t completely certain what was safe for me. She was very pleasant and if I wasn’t celiac, I’d definitely give it a try. But we left due to the lack of knowledge and reassurance.
Yes
The staff was very knowledgeable and there were good options. The fries weren’t fried with anything else so I was able to eat them.
Yes
I ate at this location while on travel. I have eaten at other Nandos locations have had great success.
Gluten free is not indicated on the in store menu but you can go on the website and find the nutritional guide .pdf which is very detailed and lists all allergens in each menu item. The cashier also cross checked that guide with my order to make sure all was ok. Fries are the only thing that go into the fryer, so that was safe and a treat! Sauces all appear to be gluten free as well. Very tasty!
Yes
We have eaten here several times. Many GF choices including wings and fries. Ask for an allergen menu to check the ingredients.
Yes
Great chicken! Love the corn on the cob.
Tasty and GF safe! Get the 1/2 chicken and chips !
Yes
Excellent food. They have a menu with allergens that you can use when ordering. Knowledgeable staff
Yes
Girlfriend who has Celiac's mentioned it to the person taking the order, and they made sure to walk back into the kitchen and have everyone change gloves and were aware of it. Dedicated fryer, and everything except the sandwiches, coleslaw, and garlic bread were gluten free. Good food too (she had the chicken bowl)
Yes
Allergen menu, spoke with the manager... fries in a dedicated fryer.
Yes
Our first time to this chain was a positive experience! The lack of a GF menu kept us away for a long time, but the high celiac ratings here were encouraging. No cross contamination reaction (whew), and the chicken was flavorful. We especially liked the mango-lime sauce. The peri peri bowl was a great way to get some fresh veggies too.
Yes
Staff is knowledgeable about Celiac's and everything is gluten free!
Yes
Staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. They have a dedicated fryer for French fries . Chicken was delicious!!!!

Most of the menu can be made gluten free, however this particular location was not understanding of cross contamination and I got very sick while I was eating there. I explained profusely about cross contamination and the cashier indicated my food would be made in a clean area, but you can see them prep the food and they did nothing differently with mine. I will not be back to this Nando’s, and honestly don’t know if I ever want to try another.
No
Easy to find GF and dairy free options here. Chicken and rice were great. Pineapple are canned and coleslaw lacks flavor.
No rating as we opted to skip. We entered right at opening and the very helpful person pointed out the significant opportunity for cross contamination. He felt comfortable suggesting the half chicken, cole slaw and corn. My daughter felt unsafe so we opted out.
April 16, 2019. Fantastic GF place to eat. Only crutons, sandwich bread and pita chips have gluten. Easy to eat off the whole menu.
Yes
Great food! No issues! Will be going back!
Yes
Good food, with gluten-free options. Service was a bit lax.
Staff was knowledgeable and friendly. The chicken with peri-peri sauce is gf (all spice levels). I got a 1/4 chicken with fries and mixed green salad and it was so much food! Fries are gf by default because they don’t fry anything else in a fryer. Highly recommended!
Yes
The wings are amazing! Love the “chips” here as well. I have never felt sick after eating here and I go here quite often.
Delicious chicken, incredible fries. All sauces are gluten free, most items are gluten free except for the bread itself
Yes
90% of the menu is gluten free and their fries are made in a separate fryer. Lots of options and their sauces are gluten free!

90% of their menu is gluten free and they have a dedicated fryer for their fries. Lots of choices.
Yes
Staff is very knowledgeable and they have a separate allergen menu. I still ask them to change their gloves, but would definitely go back!
Yes
Staff not super knowledgeable (at least on day I went). They were willing to check though. Almost everything is GF and their website clearly marks what isn’t.
Yes
My family eats here all the time and they're great! The food is amazing, and almost anything can be made gluten free! And I know that most people don't come for the fries, but if anyone needs to know, the fries have their own fryer, so theyre gluten free!
Yes
Almost everything there is GF so even though the staff weren't super knowledgable, cross contamination seems unlikely because there just isn't much of it in the kitchen. I got medium spicy chicken and two veggie sides (seasonal brussels sprouts and peas). Tasty and no symptoms. Was a little crowded and noisy at lunch time.
Yes
This place is fantastic! So much is GF! Wings, fries, all the sauces! All the chicken is GF and no cross contamination. Only sources of gluten are obvious, like breads, wraps, etc.
Yes
We frequently eat here an my Celiac son has no issues. Food and service are quite good.
