Another business that cares a little about their customers with allergens.
Add it to your list of places not to go if you have any sort of gluten sensitivity.
— No gluten-free information on the menu
No gluten-free options. Asked server what their gluten-free options were. Server said burger without a bun. Had a couple of salads that could be gluten-free free. Not a place for celiac. Service was slow. Not busy when we were there. Took a long time to get drinks. Not very many beers on menu for a brewery.

I don't know why this comes up in a search for being gluten free. The only thing they offer as gluten free is the option of a bread for a burger or sandwich. Even their fries have flour on them.

No options. Asked about the deviled eggs, the chef said "it's whole grain mustard" so they obviously don't know much about food. I got a sangria and then left.

Went here based off of reviews and a couple of employees made it very clear they had NO GF options and could not accommodate.

The hostess told us is someone with celiac shouldn’t be eating here. Terrible!

Very friendly on the phone and very honest that they bake their Own bread in house so they will not guarantee gluten-free for a celiac person

This restaurant no longer offers GF bread / buns. Nothing really GF available.
No
It was good. I had a late lunch. They are Gluten senstive not Gluten free, I didn't react as I'm a super sensitive Celiac.
Asked hostess. They have a GF menu, but they are “gluten sensitive” and say cross contamination is likely. Their food/options look good if you’re not sensitive, but I didn’t try it.
No
Instant mistake even with a corporate “gluten sensitive menu”. Don’t go.
No
Fun atmosphere and decent food. Had a limited “gluten sensitive” menu. I had the gf chipotle chicken tacos on blue corn tortillas l. Very yummy. No reaction, would definitely go back!!
They have a separate GF menu with fish, burgers, tacos. The salmon was good, but the GF burger bun did not taste very good. They don't have a dedicated fryer. Most importantly, we didn't get sick.
Yes
We came specifically for a gluten free cheeseburger for my picky kid. They advertise having one on their gluten sensitive menu but they do not. They didn’t tell us until our other food was made so my kid literally just ate a side of fruit and a side of rice. I spoke to the manager and told them to change their menu immediately. The manager was kind but in general the staff seemed annoyed by us. We will not eat at Gordon Biersch again.
Would not recommend eating here if you have celiac. Very limited options and I got sick almost immediately eating their food.
No
Spoke to person on the phone and she told us that there could definitely be cross contamination.
No
They have a GF / GS menu. The server and I talked extensively about ordering from that menu. Unfortunately, my burger ended up with a regular bun but I didn't know it until it was too late.
No
Disappointed that this restaurant doesn’t offer better GF options - they don’t even have GF buns for their burgers. I get that they brew their own beers, so it would be difficult to offer a GF beer, but they don’t even offer a cider. They have a “gluten sensitive” menu that states, “If you have extreme allergies or have celiac disease, this may not be the menu for you.” It’s great that they’re honest, but frustrating that they can’t be more accommodating to their guests with food intolerances. The few GF non-salad entrees that they do offer are smothered in butter and/or cheese. Their Gorgonzola Pear Salad is good (I have to request no cheese, which removes a key part of the salad, but I enjoyed it nevertheless). Overall, I do not recommend.

Really not great. Called ahead - phone voice said lots of options. Got there... gf menu under revision, none available but the server will know... server was not knowledgeable. Server consulted with chef and came up with lots of “leave out the gluten” options (I.e. leave out the bun, tacos w/o shells, etc.) and salad. Disappointing. Asked for rice instead of taco shells, charged for a side. Seriously? You can do better. Go find good gf food or a kitchen that can be more creative and keep you safe.
Great gluten sensitive menu. Wish they had dessert though.
Ordered a GF salad to go, checked in the car and it had croutons. Took it back, they "remade it" but it appeared to still have crumbs on it. I assume they just picked off the croutons.
No
Staff knowledgeable, GF menu available, fair number of items on GF menu. Had simply grilled salmon and kale & quinoa salad, which was delicious. Felt good after, too!
Pretty good food, but not very knowledgeable re gluten issues. I've been telling them for years to offer gf buns and gf beer, but they don't seem interested.
No
They do have gluten free bread but not a lot of options beyond that. Maybe go elsewhere if celiac.
No
I ordered from the gluten sensitive menu. My burger was brought to the table on a bun. When it came back out it was evident they had just removed the bun and reserved the same burger.
There are several things on this menu that could be adapted to the gluten free lifestyle. Their house bbq is made with their beer so that isn’t something gf can have. I was told that they had a customer that had the food tester and couldn’t eat here so a hard core celiac would have difficulty. I am able to be in a cross contaminated environment and not get so sick as this woman would probably have gotten. Excited to eat my meal! My server was so sweet as I felt upset my first time traveling being gf - feeling grateful to get a good meal with kind service!!
Their menu is for gluten sensitivity but I worked with one of the managers and had a delicious gf dinner. Many disclaimers on gf menu so work with the managers. They were very helpful.
Yes
Limited GF options on a gluten sensitive menus. Had the pear Gorgonzola salad including grilled chicken that was cooked perfectly. I’d score higher if they had more options
Gluten free menu is extremely limited. If they cared at all, they could at the very least have gluten free buns for burgers. That’s not hard to do these days. But that’s not even an option at GB. If you have a child that’s GF just plan on eating somewhere else.
Almost no gluten free not but good food.
Gluten free menu! Knowledgeable of celiac!
Yes
They have good food and gluten free options. I gave it 3 stars because their gluten free menu is labeled gluten sensitive and may contain gluten as stated by a waitress.
No
I had the salmon dish and it was fantastic. No symptoms at all after eating. I am a celiac and very sensitive to any gluten. I would definitely return there with no concerns.
Yes
Menu clearly says not for celiacs.
No
Dedicated GF menu with a good selection. We had dinner at prime time on Friday evening when the restaurant was full and quite noisy.
Yes
Don't go to this place. We ordered a gluten free burger for my son and they did not get it right despite having a gf menu. It is also overpriced for mediocre food. Avoid.
No
Not a ton of gf options
The gluten free menu is outdated and they do not have a dedicated frier. The server was not knowledgable about what a gluten allergy was.
I had to send our first meal back. Benefit of the doubt ordered again. WRONG AGAIN. Will not return.

Very friendly. Had our dogs outside too!
Dedicated GF menu and waitress was very knowledgable. Got a Cobb salad which was huge!
There is a dedicated gluten free menu which consists of salads and $30 entrees. They stated that the wings are fried in the same oil as everything else but the oil is special and doesn't cause the gluten to cross contaminate. I chose a salad which was huge but was lacking in taste.
Was happy to see the GF menu. I had the brick oven halibut with roasted asparagus and roasted garlic mashed potatoes. It was amazing!!! I was pleased to see so many options for sides. If highly recommend.
I had called ahead to find out if they could accommodate my Celiac diet needs. They had assured me that they could so I was disappointed to see the rather scary warning on the gluten free menu that if you were celiac, this probably wasn't the menu for you. Thinking I was going to have to skip dinner, I talked to the waitress who assured me they use separate pans, utensils, and kitchen space for the gf items. We risked it, and I'm so glad that I did. Dinner was delicious. So, is this restaurant Celiac Friendly? Sort of. The menu says no, but if you get the right waitress and you are careful and vigilant, then I think it is.
Yes
This restaurant has a decent gluten free menu. I ordered Creole chicken and a house salad with a dressing listed on the gf menu. Within two hours, I realized my meal was not gluten free.
