I go here all the time. I love that they have gluten free fish and chips. Certainly a rare find.
You have to ask for fresh rice flour to be used as it will taste stale otherwise.

Great food for lunch and dinner. Most of the menu can be made gluten free. The wait staff was very knowledgable.

By far my favorite gluten free place for lunch or dinner!
There are so many options to choose from and all easy to read on their very large menu.
Burgers with homemade gf buns, pizza, seafood, steaks, pasta and so much more.

They have a good selection of food but the food doesn't taste good in my opinion. I had buffalo chicken as an appetizer. They used rice flour, it was plain & hard to chew. My main course was fried fish with asiago potatoes. The fish was fried with rice flour so the fish was also plain tasting & hard to chew. I also noticed that the rice flour is very filling as well so you get full quickly.

Ate here two nights in a row on a recent trip. Food was great, had salmon/rice and salad and felt fine afterwards. The only downside was no gluten free menu and not marked on the menu there. Had to go to online menu to view items marked as gluten free which is a bit of a pain.

This order was placed at the Crossgates mall location in Albany. I have ordered the same dish, crusted chicken Romano- gluten free of course, for months and I have had quite a few mishaps happen. If you order here you really, REALLY need to clarify your allergy. Tonight I picked up my order and it said gluten free on the ticket, but luckily I noticed that the pasta was different which made it NOT gluten free. The person who helped me, Gage, happily made me a fresh order and gave me a complimentary gluten free cupcake and another order of sweet potato fries with my order! They are very accommodating of allergies but you must reassure with your server or the person taking your order. I will be going back again but just making sure they know it’s gluten free for celiac disease.

Excellent variety of gluten free options. Dedicated fryer for gluten free fried options. They have yummy desserts that you can walk in and buy at the front counter. I LOVE THIS PLACE

This place is terrific for the GF diner, large selection of GF. They have a dedicated fryer. My wife has been GF for 12yrs, was able to have ‘fish & chips’ very lite & delicious. HIGHLY recommend Maggie’s McFlys.

Staff is excellent, food is out of this world. Separate gf fryers, tons of gf options on menu. Separate kitchen prep. So many great options. Ate twice in one weekend I loved it so much. No reaction-have celiac AND dermatitis herpaformis. Reactions are noticable and sensitive. Event have gf cupcakes and the menu tells you exactly where the gf options are sourced from i.e cheesecake factory ect. My non gf by also loved his food. We had deviled eggs, I had short rib grilled cheese on a Brazilian cheese bread bun-TO DIE FOR. my bf ordered his on a"gf" bun the next day it was so delicious. Highly recommend.

I did not see any real precautions taken to protect against cross contamination nor did the wait staff offer any options. I did get sick from it. I would not recommend to t for celiac.

Our daughter is extremely sensitive to cross contamination and we have eaten here over two dozen times. Every waiter was not only educated but also made sure anything we wanted was modified to be safe. I highly recommend them!

I wish I could give a higher rating due to the LARGE variety of foods they offer. The first time I went, I was excited to to get the chicken tenders and fries fried in a designated fryer. And they were amazing! I came back a second time looking forward to the tenders again...but they looked and tasted completely different. (See uploaded image). I’m not sure if the recipe changed within a month of my two visits, or if I was served gluten-containing tenders one of the times. I am mainly asymptomatic so I can’t be certain. I highly recommend clarifying with the waiter when they serve your meal!

They served me a non- gluten free appetizer when I asked for gluten free multiple times. The appetizer was labeled as something that could be made gluten free, meaning they had a non-gf version and a gf version. When I ordered they waitress told me it’s always gluten free. I start to feel sick by the time my main dish was served. I never tried the main dish (gave it to my non-gf husband) and will never go back.

Normally service is better. The waitstaff is knowledgeable and kind with Celiac requests and make me feel at ease; however, the last few trips there have been damaging mistakes. The kitchen is aware and is working to fix the issues (dropped croutons in my meal one visit and the other two times were other food prep issues). They are extremely apologetic and working to fix the issue but use caution as they re-train their staff.

The waitress was knowledgeable of the menu and as soon as I mentioned the words gluten free she volunteered the info about fries and the dedicated fryer, options for buns and pastas etc. I ordered the gluten free beer battered chicken fingers with sweet potato fries, the waitress took extra precautions circling the GF on her note pad, the gluten free plate was marked clearly when it was brought out. The chicken fingers were fortunately not greasy, which was nice but the draw back was that they were VERY bland I couldn’t taste much at all, the fries were okay but soggy.

This restaurant is great! The menu is huge!! Most options are available with a gluten-fee substitute. There is a dedicated kitchen area, prep area, and fryer for gluten free food. I highly recommend! There is all types of food offered in gluten free versions: seafood, Indian, Steaks, Sandwiches, Wings, Pizza, Salads, Drinks, etc. and EVERYTHING is heavily marked with gluten free symbols for sides, dressings, sauces, dishes, drinks, you name it, they know it. HIGHKY RECOMMEND!!
The whole menu is somewhere between 25-40 pages and every page has a gluten-free option under every category of food they offer. There are so many options! I have been back 6+ times and have never had any issues with cross-contamination, never had a meal I didn’t like, and never have had any complaints for the staff or their knowledge on gluten-free menu.
The menu is HUGE. There are so many options and all of the options me or my family have tried have been good. There are markings on the menu for locally sourced, family owned, gluten-free and pant based products No complaints for this restaurant! Educated staff and love the atmosphere!

The staff was very knowledgeable about the gluten free options. There were many gluten free options to choose from. We eat here often and have never had a problem.

I’ve been a couple of times. Once I had chicken wings and French fries - what a treat!! I’m removing a star because I had a side salad and found a bug in it - gross! I would go back, especially when I’m craving something fried or a drink from the bar, but I’m pretty nervous about their salads... oh, I also tried their GF cupcake and it was great!
Yes
Gluten free items clearly labeled on the menu. Rice flour fried options. Lots of GF pasta options. Clearly says they have a dedicated frier for fries. The wait staff was friendly and offered to double check with the chef if the burger was GF. GF cupcake dessert option.
Yes
They served a non gluten free meal to someone ordering gluten free and were only concerned about the incident report being completed
Some items marked gluten free others can be prepared gf. We ordered an item that could be prepared gf then half way they meal they informed us it wasn’t gf

Great place to eat when one of us is gluten free and the other eats all the gluten he can! Both had finish and chips" his was beer battered and mine was a rice flour batter, cooked in a dedicated fryer. Portions were large and food came out hot and yummy. We will go back.
Yes
Many items on the menu can be made gluten free and are indicated as such on the menu. Their gluten free chicken tenders are very good and crispy. My gluten-eating child happily splits an order of them with her celiac brother!

Lots of options, dedicated fryer. Staff is very careful and will answer any questions you have.

Great GF menu. There are many soups and appetizers marked GF. I had the Buffalo Nachos and they were fabulous.
I explained I needed gluten free and that they had a dedicated fryer. We ate spinach artichoke dip (verified gf) and for a meal I had chicken fingers and fries, which arrived with an allergen stick poked into it. 4 hours later I vomited all contents of my stomach out, so severely ill that I popped blood vessels around my eyes. I would never ever ever trust this place again and I will never recommend anyone go there who has celiac disease. This happened 11/27/19. They were also not busy at all. So disappointing and now I have the “gluten hangover” for thanksgiving day, and who knows for how much longer....

My lunch was great! I had their sweet potato fries and they are made in a designated gluten free frier. Our server was fabulous and made sure my meal was made perfect for me. Great service
Awesome !!! Chef cane out to make sure of my allergies . Cauliflower pizza delicious !!

The staff were so knowledgeable about gf. Almost everything can be made gf and is celiac friendly! Even a dedicated fryer! I had a burger and fries and they were delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant to those with celiac and also those without it.

2019- October great visit great food. It wasnt busy so they cooked me fries without soy A lot of food choices! Good food but slow
In the past Maggie’s used to be great, but it seems that they may have changed management. My food used to come out with a little “gluten free” flag but it didn’t this last time, when I asked if they used a shared fryer they said that “the food should be safe.” The waiter didn’t seem too experienced about gluten free food, and I’m not feeling great today.

I'm a celiac and very sensitive. It was very delicious and safe for me.
Last time I went they put my GF burger and fries on a wooden plate. I haven’t been back. There are better options in town.

Amazing food with a dedicated fryer and plenty of gf options. So many options that it was difficult to choose what I wanted. I Had the fried chicken dinner and it was delicious. A bit pricy but got more than 2 meals out of it. Can't wait to come back to explore more of their menu

This is the holy grail of gluten free restaurants in the area. Their menu is as big as a book, and they can make most things gluten free. Gluten free pizza, fries, buns, beer, cider, fried chicken, pasta, and more! I never thought I’d be able to eat fried chicken again!! They even have a gluten free cupcake dessert. It is super rare to find gluten free dessert items elsewhere.

We ordered to go food and they messed up 3/5 meals. Caesar salad had croutons, buffalo chicken pizza had no blue cheese and regular chicken (not gf), and they didn’t even give us the buffalo blasts. We caught it in time and manager was very apologetic. Remade everything. Pizza was just okay though. Gave it 2 stars because the gf tuxedo cupcake was amazing.

Burger was fantastic and their gluten free bread comes from The Cheese Bread Factory so it is also delicious. Service was a bit odd but it was ‘off’ normal lunch hours. Large, comfy booths for big groups!
