So amazing. Looked like most things on the menu, except the burritos, were gluten free. They assured me that the only things fried with the chips were chips, and all the chips and plantain chips were GF.

Great experience with our first visit to this establishment at Fashion Square. Ordered a Baja taco with fried mahi mahi fish (haven’t had one in years) chips/guac and a quesalita as recommended. Everything was GF, delicious and plated beautifully. No issues after. Wish there were a closer location to be a regular.

I always get the guiltless quesadilla (GF tortilla) and it’s amazing. The vegan chipotle crema is addictively delicious, and recently they added GF churro bites! Be sure to specify allergy and the staff is well trained

The food was outstanding. Good portions. Really liked the Cauliflower Rice. The add ons add up quick but under control. Had the protein bowl and the pina bowl. Tostones were a great sub for chips.

Menu items are marked. Food was very good and I did not get sick. Only wish the portion sizes were a little bigger for the price. $14 for a bowl that is about 3/4 the size of a chipotle bowl.

Ordered two taco plates GF DF and no onions. This food was not good. Beans undercooked, rice dry and salty, tacos just ordinary. Yes it was safe but it just didn't taste that great.

Good modern Mexican, colorful decor and food. Counter service. Relatively inexpensive, but not fast food prices/style. GF items clearly marked. It's just outside the food court, with its own tables and chairs. Pretty space. Come here instead of Chipotle.

I love the Baja tacos with gf battered fried mahi mahi and vegan chipotle crema! I do not have celiac, but I believe the fish is fried in a gf fryer.
Great flavors and a lot of GF and Dairy Free options!

I am Celiac and I love Tocaya. I can safely order delivery from here and have done so more than two dozen times with no problem. I particularly love the gluten-free quesadilla, a rare find. The bulls are all excellent and the Tocaya salad is fantastic.

The food is amazing, but unfortunately there was cross-contamination: my friend who has celiac disease got very ill later in the evening after eating here.

I had one of the few gluten-free quesadillas I've had since being diagnosed as a celiac here. It was the not the best quesadilla I've ever had, but it was definitely good for street-food while walking around Venice Beach. The chips and queso was quite tasty as well. The menu is easy to read and clearly indicates which items are GF (there's a lot to choose from). Did not get sick too which is always nice. :) Only one star off as service was a little slow and took a while to get our food.

Vanessa was great and I informed her of my celiac/ severe gluten allergy. My burrito was delicious. It was hard to believe it was gluten free. I had it at 6 pm with no reaction that night or next morning. I think it’s necessary to inform them if you have celiac so that they can be careful to not cross contaminate

This was just ok, not worth the price and my gluten free quesadilla was not marked and if my fiance's tortilla not been a green jalapeño one we wouldn't have no the difference.
So many wonderful options and flavors. Much try.

My son is Celiac. This place has several gf options, and the staff asked about special dietary equirements/allergies. We used to go here before the diagnosis and always liked the food here.

I ate at the Camelback location. Almost everything on the menu was gluten free! Food was fresh and delicious with dairy-free, keto and vegan options as well. Staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. It’s not a GF kitchen, but I had no problems.

Make sure you ask them to change gloves and use a clean surface. Especially if you get GF burrito.
Explain celiac / allergy while ordering - staff take it very seriously and the manager came out personally to deliver my food.

So many options. Fresh fast casual healthy-Mex. offer a low carb GF tortilla for burritos. Also have salads, bowls, quesadillas... so much to choose.

Delicious safe food. Haven’t had a GF burrito in years! Vegan cheeses and creams too. Ate here both nights in San Diego.
Food was gone before I could even take a picture that did it justice. So so good! Staff is very educated! Place is small and busy which was a good sign! They have a gluten free burrito for goodness sakes! We got the burrito and also the gluten free quesadillas which were both so amazing!!

Used to eat the tocaya chain 3-4x a week and they were great with preventing cross contamination. Kept getting sick because the corn tortillas started getting prepared on the same surface as the flour tortillas for the burritos. Now it seems like a cross contamination nightmare. When they’re making the burritos they use the same spoons to place the items on the tortilla which touch the flour tortilla then goes back into the food. For a fad dieter this may be ok but for a celiac it’s unacceptable. I’d stay clear if you’re very sensitive!

Very friendly and knowledgeable about celiac. No gluten detected by Nima

Great food, i had gluten free mushroom quesadillas, really lovely.... casual eating type of establishment in a place called The Point which is a combo of shops, eateries, healthy pursuits. Most of the places to eat here would have had GF. No reaction so good find in El Segundo.

Clear gluten-free menu and a nice atmosphere. We had tacos and a bowl which were delicious. Recommended if you like Mexican style food. Close to the beach.

I ordered the black bean and quinoa bowl with shrimp along with the St. Tropez tea. Wow, they did not disappoint. So fresh, healthy and delicious! Staff super friendly. Will definitely be back.

Great selection of GF items. The flavors were excellent. Wonderful selection of fountain drinks. The strawberry basil was outstanding.

I am celiac and the staff at this location seemed very uninformed about what that actually means. There was a mix up with my order and when I wanted to confirm that it was safe for me to eat, the staff gave me a hard time. I ended up sending it back and reordering again to be completely sure I got the correct meal. It’s good that their menu is mostly GF but since they do use flour tortillas, there is still a risk for CC. To me it felt more like a “trendy” GF spot as opposed to celiac safe.
GF indicated clearly on the menu, so
easy to choose from.
Now they offer Gluten Free BURRITOS!!
GF Tortilla:
-made with coconut & cassava flour
-very chewy
-does NOT fall apart like corn tortilla!
Menu clearly marked and staff seemed knowledgeable. Most tacos were spicier than I prefer but I’d go back!
